I am confident I am passionate I am strong I am an athlete Girls play today thanks to those who came first Leaders Coaches Officials Pioneers Made possible by the passage of Title IX over 50 years ago No person will be excluded from participating on the basis of sex and Girls have done so much more than participate from the first MHSAA champions to the latest and newest Title IX confirmed what we already knew that girls can play and benefit greatly from participating in high school sports. I am competitive. I am decided. without fear continue to play to train to officiate continue to give back because 50 years is just the beginning you were once inspired by those who came first now be the inspiration for those who come after
