, the regular A03 and the A03. That's a lot of threes, the reason I wanted to do this. The

is because I want to help summarize the main

s between these three some

confusing devices, the specifications, the features, the performance, it is not as simple as you might think and, depending on your smartphone needs, budget and some other factors, I hope this alleviates some of that decision fatigue and in the end allows you to make the best decision possible and also because Samsung's own comparison charts on their website tend to be incredibly useless, we definitely have a lot to go over here, so I won't waste any more time.

Let's go ahead and get right into this. First, I want to talk about pricing and availability. Now not all A03 phones will be sold in all regions of the world nor will they be offered by all operators or networks, for example the A03

core

and the regular A03. Most widely available in Europe and Asia, the A03s is big among US carriers and prepaid brands, but in theory you could buy any of these smartphones as an unlocked international GSM device and use it on a good number of GSM carriers around the world. . I'm sure you might have guessed that the core a03 will generally be the cheapest of the bunch, it's about a 100 device no matter where you buy it, jumping to the regular a03 it's about a 150 smartphone, so that's quite an increase substantial in comparison. and similarly the

a03s

is also a 150 phone, of course if you buy it from a carrier or prepaid network they could offer you a deal and the prices tend to fluctuate all the time between 10 and 20 dollars but if you are interested In doing some comparison shopping of your own, I'll leave some links below in the video description where you can get these three phones at their current cheapest prices physically, at least from the front, I think you can say all three. the phones look pretty much the same, they are actually all 6.5 inch devices, that's the size of their screen from corner to corner, they all have the same style of notch on top for the selfie camera, same side bezels size along the edge and identical bottom chines, stacking them all on top. from each other you can see that they have practically the same dimensions everywhere in the hand, there is no advantage or disadvantage anywhere you look and in fact the height, width, thickness and weight of each device are practically the same, you can barely distinguish which one.

Honestly, you have the A03, so the screen size, overall design and form factor shouldn't be a deciding factor on the rear, while the form factor and build differ slightly. All of these phones have plastic casings and light textured finishes very similar to the A03. The core has a crisscross pattern with a rougher speckled finish near the flush single camera lens and a combination of flat profile, sides and edges combined with a slightly sloping curved back. The regular A03 offers a criss-cross texture pattern, a very slight camera bump for the dual-lens setup. and more curved slanted edges that closely mimic the a03, this phone has a plastic build with a sort of scratched texture, a similar subtle camera bump, and more curved sides and edges, like I said, if we're being specific about the build, the a03 and the a03 are much closer to each other than the a03 core, but generally speaking they are almost the same, all plastic and familiar design.

In the end, taking a look, all three phones have the same dual SIM and SD card tray on the left side and, given the 32 and 64 gig configuration options that are a must for these phones on the right, volume buttons and similar power buttons, although you will notice that on the

its power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor, neither the core a03 nor the regular a03 have a fingerprint sensor and in fact, the core a03 doesn't even offer face unlock, so If biometric unlock options are important to you, the regular a03 will at least give you face unlock and the a03s has face and fingerprint unlock at the bottom, all three phones have the same downward unlock.

I already mentioned that the 6.5-inch notched, double-chin displays on these three phones were essentially the same size and design, but you should also know that as far as specs go, they're almost identical here too and each has a resolution of 1600 by 720 and LCD panels with an aspect ratio of 20 by nine. 270 pixels per inch, roughly a screen-to-body ratio of 82, for the most part, the viewing experience you get will be almost the same in the end across all three phones.

Now I'm not entirely sure

A03 looks identical, the color, the brightness, to me, they are the same screens as the A03s, for some reason they tend to look maybe a little brighter and a little more colorful, maybe more punchy and saturated, but again , I don't necessarily think it should be a major deal breaker and like I said the specs are the same anyway, they're all 60 hertz screens and nowadays it feels slower than normal with taps and taps, in Overall, absolutely cheap screen setups from start to finish and my biggest complaint. here it really is with the resolution that you get big screens which is great but at 720p you will see those pixels, there is not much you can do other than jump to a completely different level of phone in the a series, but if you are specifically set on an A03 device and you want to save some money.

Any of these will give you basically the same viewing experience in all capacities. You don't get any advantage one way or the other, at least for me, from the listening experience out loud. There also appears to be the same single speaker setups on all three phones. It's on the bottom and I believe they are the same actual speakers on each device. I can't tell the

, but there's a sound sample of each so you can decide. yourself when it comes to the internal specifications and performance of these devices, this is actually the area that surprised me the most when I compared them side by side in more ways than one, the a03 core is powered by a tsmc sc98638 processor, a very economical entry. -Tier chipset that actually came out in 2018.

You also get two gigs of RAM in the core and 32 gigs of storage with no other configuration options to choose from from the regular a03. It is a tsmc t606 processor which is just another entry level. chipset, but quite new, it actually came out in September last year and here you have the option of three or four gigs of RAM and 32, 64 or 128 gigs of internal storage, so there are plenty of options to specify this phone if You want the A03s to technically be the most powerful phone of the bunch, I guess if we just go off the naming scheme, but it has a Mediatek Helio P35 processor with three or four gigs of RAM and only 32 or 64 gigs of storage, which is strange, usually

's phones and a series are improved or newer versions of their namesake, but if we go off the geekbench scores, that's not the case at all, the regular a03 in the middle features numbers noticeably better and in my side by side. speed tests the a03 tends to outperform the a03 in more ways than one now there's another thing you need to consider here the software the a03 core is an android go device, a sort of lighter version of android with fewer apps, fewer options and settings to choose from is more optimized for a lower spec budget device like this, but it's even more limited than Samsung's single UI core that the other a03 phones run on and there's no Android 12 update for it either. none of these devices right now, like I said, side by side, surprisingly, the normal one. a03 tends to boot up and load more complicated things faster than the other devices, this is not really what I expected and interestingly the a03 core feels faster with Android.

Some of the default apps load almost instantly, but keep in mind, you get a very watered down version of a ton of Android elements and UI, so that's part of the reason why overall this for me is what makes the a03 line so confusing that it is very obvious that the a03 core is the Phone with the lowest specs, the lowest level and the least software option, but between the regular A03 and the A03 it is confusing , the internal specs and performance don't line up with what perhaps the average consumer might expect and I don't even understand why there needs to be here are two different additional phones with the batteries, at least in terms of this it's relatively straightforward, they all They have 5000 milliamp capacities within the differences although they lie in the charging as I mentioned above and the potential optimization and longevity of the a03 core and normal charging of the a03 via micro USB. port and to me in 2022 this just doesn't make much sense, you will get slower charging speeds, a connector that is not really supported, I thought no Android device would have this today but here we are with two of them.

Please let me know if I'm missing something here, maybe other parts of the world agree to this charging standard, but the A03s has a USB port and maximum charging speeds of 15 watts, which is fair for a budget phone. I assume none of these devices are supported. wireless charging and as for battery life this will really depend on your individual use but I found that each of these will be a two day device with normal use I think the core a03 with android go and light apps limited. It will probably be the device with the highest battery consumption - for me, the A03 and A03 produced about the same screen over time day after day - but it will really depend on how you use these phones.

Personally, I don't see a big advantage either way. When it comes to camera setups, this is another area that really separates these three phones, but again, not necessarily in the way you'd expect. The core a03 is pretty simple: it just has an eight-megapixel lens on the back and a five-megapixel selfie camera. Up front, the dual-lens setup of the regular a03 offers a 48-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with apparently the same 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and the a03s has the triple-lens setup , but its main shooter is only a 13-megapixel lens.

It has a 2-megapixel macro for close-up photography and the same 2-megapixel depth sensor and also has the 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front within the camera apps. The a03 core basically gives you a picture option, a video option and a panorama option, that's super simple. and there aren't many other shooting modes or settings to choose from, the regular a03 offers quite a few more portrait selections, pro controls, night mode which is very valuable, hyperlapse, 48 megapixel picture mode and a few additional modes and settings that allow a more robust range of camera capabilities, the a03s has all of those same capabilities except the 48-megapixel mode and all three phones cap at 1080p video at 30fps, generally speaking, if images or videos are important to You, there's a lot of value here jumping around. up to the a03 or a03s versus the core with some real world image samples you can actually see some pretty significant differences starting with a selfie lens the core a03 looks surprisingly solid with its color, not so much with the detail or the clarity, but at a glance.

I think it's actually the most natural and realistic shot. The regular A03 isn't bad, but the A03 is strangely saturated. I look super orange, although there are many details. At least the core of the A03 doesn't offer a selfie portrait option or any portrait selection. actually, but between the a03 and the normal a03, the results are about the same as before, very oversaturated on the a03 I would say, and a little more neutral on the normal a03, with the rear lens setup, it's a Kind of flip flops for the core of the a03 and the normal a03. looks more colorfuland saturated now, although maybe at least more balanced and the a03s gives you a pale bright and maybe a little overexposed look.

Of course, you can alter the color and contrast in your favorite photo editing app. The important thing is the details.
