pizza

again. I'll have to be honest, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's a really small place that just opened during the pandemic and I honestly wish I could have gone back a second time.
They were great. Now we did takeout, we didn't eat inside, but here you see the inside, quaint little place with tons of different drinks, open kitchen so you can see them making your cake right there. It was a really cool little place, we got some breadsticks too. Those were also fantastic overall, uh if you can eat there do it at sunset because this is the sunset moving away from Blackrock. They also had some outdoor seating. Now here's our cake and I know some of you are going crazy. It has pineapple, but hey, we're in Hawaii, come on, you have to try it.
It was incredible. Our breadsticks were amazing and mouth-watering too. It's a place you absolutely

must

stop at now that I was on the food networks. and diving and I used to go to these kinds of places all the time. I didn't even know it was on the list until I walked in and saw Guy Fiori's face all over the wall. Now it's a small hole. the wall but the food is amazing when you go, you absolutely have to try the garlic furikake chicken, it was absolutely the best thing I ate on the whole island and again I ate a lot of food, you are seeing it right here, the service.
It was absolutely friendly now we had to wait a bit because they were full you see it's Hawaiian and Asian inspired the wife picked up the pork kahlua with a side of rice and it was very very good. I got a combo plate with chicken and also beef bulgogi again. You get a little bit of that sauce for the chicken and rice. You also get a couple of different side options. The wife bought the noodles and I bought the kimchi, both very good but just keep in mind the the noodles are cold now the southernmost bakery in the United States panolu bake shop is a place we again stopped at well we stopped there three times it was fantastic and it was wonderful when we were going to the volcano house to stop there and grab some of their delicious treats for our breakfast now it's a great setting it's a great little store where you can smell the delicious baked goods floating in the parking lot and when You walk in now they have kind of a general store, they have some ice cream and stuff, a lot of fun little trinkets to pick up, but the crown jewel is definitely their baked goods.
Here you see, actually, they are a little wiped out. We were there around four o'clock, they closed at five so they didn't have many treats but the first time we went again they definitely had more there and it was fantastic. Some of the best things I tried were the bismark and also the lupia cake, which were what I can do. I can't say it enough, they were amazing, they were fantastic outside, they had little places for you to sit, all of them socially distanced, they also had spray so you could clean it, they had koi ponds, they had another sitting area further away.
On the other side, they actually had bathrooms so you can use them if you head to the southernmost point. It's definitely worth the extra 15 minute drive to be able to go here. You can see some close-ups of some styles of Hawaiian donuts. halupia and also i think it was basically a tarot donut and they were great near thread. We decided to stop at keohu grill and had one of their famous one pound laulau. Now if you're not familiar with laulau, we had been to Oahu before and had laulau is meat that is steamed inside banana leaves, so it's definitely interesting to try and it's definitely a

must

-do for Hawaiians now.
Her combo plate also came with kalua pork, which my wife loved and was her favorite in the world. island, but it also came with poi and lots of other Hawaiian things to try. It was a quaint little restaurant. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend the pork kahlua and of course trying the laulau and poi while we stumble up north. the fish and the pork and we're not disappointed we did it now we came in from the thread side so it seemed like there was nothing around and then this restaurant but be prepared for a decent wait but the food is really great there is bbq .
All around the island was a great BBQ and my wife had local fish which was fantastic too. She also got a quesadilla for our little one, who is not pictured. Also, if you see this girl, the one on the left, Safina, the bar manager, get one of hers. signature drinks up north we stopped at kohala burger now this was a fun little place but I warn you it's expensive like my tacos were 30 expensive the people there the staff were incredibly friendly they treated the little man like a king the hostess I ended up giving him a bracelet and during the meal he may have had a little breakdown and they gave him a bit of a whip so he was a little happier that in front you have a comic book store and in the back. then in their restaurant seating area the wife decided to go with a fish burger it was like a salmon burger and then I decided to go with the fish tacos really expensive the tacos were fantastic but I'm really not sure They were worth almost thirty dollars.
Next we will go to the volcano house. Now this was takeaway. This was room service because well, we didn't really want to sit in the restaurant with our little one, so this is the lunch and dinner menu. uh there was no extra charge for it being room service and it was delivered incredibly fast, it was about 10 minutes during our stay. We got the pork pizza clue not once but twice because we really enjoyed it and it was actually quite filling and then we also had fish and chips, now the fish and chips were batteredin coconut, they were really good, the wife thought they were a little greasy but I really enjoyed them and then we also got one of the pizzas and one of their specials, the special had Portuguese sausage which I really wanted to try and overall, It was quite good and filling.
Staying in the volcano area we decided to go to the tuk-tuk food truck a couple of times, it was really good Thai food my wife and I have. been to Thailand in fact we have been to the area this food truck was from the Chiang Mai area in the northern part of Thailand and it really was authentic Thai cuisine that had a great menu very easy to understand and you could add protein to any In one of the dishes we had summer rolls with peanut sauce and Thai chili sauce. We also finished with the masamin curry, which was one of my favorites, and also pad thai, which is my wife's favorite.
We came back and I ended up ordering pineapple chicken curry which was really good and also the day we went they had the banana spring roll not exactly what you normally think of in a spring roll but it was really good. We also got Tom Kai Guy soup which was great. In fact, we could have split it ourselves and not have anything else waiting for our flight out of Hawaii. I ended up stopping at Swirl Tea, they are now known for their bubble waffles and all kinds of different cereals that they put in and around their ice cream.
It was a very fun pleasure to go in and drink. We ended up getting one of the cookie monsters that had all kinds of different cookies, it really was a fun treat to share with the family and now for those of you who may be avoiding it, not that you shouldn't go, but we didn't have a very good time . The first one is from Yumeki, now from Yumeki. It's in the brewery area, there was a great atmosphere outside, we didn't really go inside, however they did tell us our food would take about 15 minutes and it was about 45, so with a small that is.
A bit discouraging too when we got our poke it was a bit fishy. The bottom line is that I would try something else, but if I want poke, I'm going to depoke jack. This next restaurant actually hurts me a little to put the maybe. avoid the list however we really had a problem with the service at papakomas now papakona is a fantastic restaurant our food was amazing and as you can see the view and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful it is open air, It's right on the water. We can sit there and then really enjoy the time, but we also have a little man in tow and our little man gets a little bored sometimes when he goes out to eat, so we decided we would just have a quick breakfast. some fantastic drink options but my wife ordered just a coffee, I'm talking regular black kona coffee and that actually arrived after our food arrived.
Now we don't order the weirdest things on the menu either. I had

loco

moco

, which was great, it was fantastic. and an absolute staple, if you are in Hawaii you should definitely try it and then my wife ordered french toast but she took forever and there was no communication from the waiter. Now last on the list to maybe avoid is kohala. coffee mill, now this is on because well it's a very short period of time that they are open and we decided that we would go there because we heard it was the best ice cream on the island and although my family has always had a What is it we tried the ice cream on any trip we take, we decided to order it and we were impressed that one of our favorite places, Mackinac Island, had their fudge in Hawaii, so we decided to buy it and they gave us two cups. for the adults and a cup for my little man we decided to sit outside and listen to the size of the ice creams, by the way those are four ounce cups, this is barely a scoop of ice cream, the wife actually got a double cup and that was still barely the size of a scoop of ice cream so overall we decided that for the price which was almost 18 this place maybe wasn't on our list it was great the ice cream was good I wouldn't necessarily say the best little man Of course he enjoyed his ice cream, he always does too, but overall this might be a jump for us, that's all folks, I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did please support this channel by pressing thumbs up above. helps spread my videos to a wider audience so you guys can press the thumbs up and spread it even more and also if you like this hit the subscribe button and also hit the notification bell to get notified when I post content new.
