We have six children. We travel full time on our

double

decker

tour

bus. It used to be a mega bus. Now it is our house. So we have six children. Come and take a look. our house The first thing that most people notice about our house when you walk in the front door is that there is a narrow hallway where we have our refrigerator and freezer and that's only because we have the wheel wells and they were they were. They're three and a half feet tall, so there's kind of empty space above them. We decided to put our refrigerator and freezer there.

We couldn't do much to expand the space, but there really isn't much back and forth here. We generally use the back door, uh, to get in and out, the front area is just used as a driving area and my home office, everything back here, beyond the refrigerator and freezer, gets a little bit wider, but We have our kitchen and in our kitchen. we have a two burner stove and we would like to go for it eventually, but we cook outside a lot so it's not like we're using the inside oven too much and then we have a 30 inch sink that has our cutting board and drying rack in the sink and then a lot of storage on each side, obviously we have the plumbing and stuff under the kitchen sink, but on this side here we just have a lot of storage for anything, all of our extra appliances, anything else we can need here on this side tonight, we have dinner cooking in the crock pot for some careless dogs beyond the kitchen is our seating area and also our dining area, the backs of the backs of the seats. folding together to create a dining table eating together as a

family

is very important to us so we wanted to make sure we have a large dining table and that works very well, for that we also have storage space behind the dining table. here, in addition to the air conditioning from our mini split and then we have a bathroom towards the back of the bus and also some additional cabinets and then the stairs that go up to the upper floor and the main door that we come in and out of here. in the middle of the bus, as we go up the stairs, about halfway up the stairs, we have our shower that we cut out in the storage area that was in the back of the bus, but it's a full seven foot shower and that It just keeps the water from hitting me on the shoulder and we can feel comfortable here, shower, the door is a super thin nautilus door and it hides very easily and then we'll go up from there. right up here, towards the front of the bus, we have our washer and dryer, ventless washer and dryer unit here and then we also have the entire front of the bus, our living room, uh, again, like down below, the tables, the backs of the chairs. forward to create tables is where our kids do most of their school work and then inside these is all of our storage so we have school stuff on this one we have board games and stuff and on the other one we're going big. uh board gamers so we have all our board games on the other one and then towards the front of the bus it's like our master bedroom so during the day the kids use it as a stage or play area but at night the header. and the footboard just folds our king size bed and creates a total separation from the rest of the bus where we have our dresser, all the toys hanging there and it's a nice space just for us so this is like the master. bedroom area, so every night we just put the headboard and footboard up so we have our own private space and then on the other side of this headboard with footboard edge, whichever way we do it, we have the dresser with all our things.

It's really the only convertible space and we decided to make our space convertible instead of the kids spaces being convertible just because we wanted them to have their own individual private areas here at the top of the back of the bus we have six berths. and that all the kids use with six kids, we gave everyone their own space so we have these six bunk beds and then behind me we have the lockers in the back of the bus for the kids, we also have the kids. bathroom here um upstairs so they don't have to go down the stairs uh to use the bathroom in the middle of the night things like that this area is actually the kids area of ​​the bus and then we have the ladder to go up to the roof and the roof terrace, up here on the roof terrace, this is probably one of my favorite parts of our entire bus, we have our amazing outdoor chairs up here, we have our hammock and this is really where I just come to hang out and have a time outdoors.

It's a little far from the others. It's really nice up here. We have four solar panels, two in the front, two in the back and other than that this is just our space to relax. Sometimes I'll set up the projector here so we can watch movies outside at night and just have a good time. This is a great place to hang out as a family and just have our own free time outside, so here in the back. from the bus uh it's our storage our garage area it's not perfect we're still working on things back here but we have our gray water, our fresh water, our black water, as you regular travelers will know this black water is probably not in He's in the right place and he's on the wrong side of the bus.

We hired a builder to do this and they clearly didn't know what they were doing so that's just one of the many things they did wrong. They put our black tank in the wrong direction. plus it's where it's highest and it's going to drip on things so we just have to deal with a few things there but that's the reality of the bus right now other than this is like our storage area and in the other side. We have battery banks. I'll show you too, so here on the driver's side of the bus, we have our this is actually where all of our power stuff is, so we have

lion power safaris on 1300 batteries and we have our solar change controller. up there and our target power inverter for all of our solar and stuff, so everything we need comes up here.

We can actually be out of work for about 10 hours, 10 to 12 hours at this point, usually.
