What's happening? Everyone, welcome back to Southland Airstream and RV. Today we are looking at the new

2021

Camp Cirrus 820 as you may or may not know that everything we have here at Southland RV is a high quality product from Airstream Lance and the new camp is. Of course it's no exception, the 20-21 820 has quite a few updates that we'll go over today, so let's head over here, we've got the awning for you to see, as with all the new camping products you get. What we see here is a completely laminated fiberglass construction, so they don't use any wood substrate on their side walls or anything like that.

This is not a ten thousand stick. This is a super high quality fiberglass laminated aluminum frame construction product, so let's go down. From here the first thing you notice at the top is the awning outside. Now you have LED lights built into the end of the awning and down here, on the compartment door that we have open, you have the switches to turn it on. So if we push this one right here, it retracts with one press and if you hear the beep, that just means we're low on battery. We are currently preparing this for a customer to receive here in the next.

In a couple of days, we welcomed three serious

camper

s in the month of March. We are filming this video here on April 2nd and within the month of March all three were sold so this serious one is about to have a new home and as you can see there the awning will retract with one touch until inside the caravan and you can see that the awning lights give you a pretty good light. They'll really light up the campground at night, I'm sure we've had them here on the lot when We have a little bit darker days, rainy days, they do a really fantastic job and keep going down the side.

Here you have the Aldi exhaust. Always keep things away from it as it will get a little hot as you run the Aldi system upstairs. you have your perfect outdoor outlets to plug in maybe you have a portable speaker outside you want to use a portable cooler whatever camping accessory out front in the basement this is where one of the big improvements this year is so what's up again? What the camp did was make the basement higher. In fact, they sent a couple of employees to Detroit. They went to measure many of the common

We had to do with some of the Cirrus caravans where they had to block them no longer, that should be the case. You should be able to fit this into your original truck bed just fine in the front. What they did here is you. We have a diamond plate storage door. What this will do is house your batteries again. We're getting them ready for a customer right now, so unfortunately we're testing the components, but right here you can see the screw holes where This is where your 1200 watt pure sine wave inverter would be and on the left and on the right it will have a place for the batteries, so it is set up to accept two 12 volt batteries and when you want it, it will just close. this time and the plate door closed the handle and everything would be ready here in front.

This is one of the features this year where the new camp really made standards, so this is the step window here that would line up with your truck, the step. through the window 210 watts of solar power the roof rack the rear view camera those things are now standard on the Cirrus you don't really have any options it comes fully loaded you can get a rear awning and an interior instead of the larger dining table You can get the lagoon table if you're not familiar with it, look it up. You can see them in the new camp tabs. A great table, super small, smaller in size, lightweight, comes on a post that can be moved so it is convenient if you prefer a smaller space inside as we go down what would be the driver's side of the first compartment from the Cirrus, up here you will have two 20 pound propane bottles with new storage doors. This year, they opted for an ABS plastic storage door. They actually come from a marine company and the good thing about this is that they come from the marine industry and will resist water very well on any type of outdoor element. that's a new feature this year for

and they also have a pretty interesting aesthetic look.

You can also get them in black depending on the color of the side wall of the caravan. Above you will see the events for the refrigerator that goes to the side, it also has its Shore power cord so it is set for 30 amps. You can plug it into the garage at your local campground and that's how it's going to get all of its power, so right there we have you've got a couple more storage compartments here, the biggest one up here, you've got a lighted top hidden right there. The cool thing they're doing this year is you can operate it if you do it manually, but it's also set up to be an automatic switch so as soon as you open the door the light will come on, they do this in every compartment except the front, here, the LP storage compartment, because of RBI regulations, you don't want any kind of circuit breaker where you can have any kind of electricity interfere with the gas, so it's not there under another small storage compartment .

You also have access to the service right there, so if we need to go in there and do some work, we can do it and all the way down. On the bottom, you normally only see this on the larger fifth wheels, all the units that would have these types of systems there have gone all in one panel, so you have your satellite, your cable, you can do dry camp, you can fill your fresh water tank, you can make your city water connection, you can winterize it, you can disinfect the fresh water tank, your outside showers down here, your city water connections, here Below, you also have a switch in the upper right corner for your water pump.

We have chosen a three-way switch, so whether you turn on your water pump here or inside, you can do whatever you want. The circular red light button down here will also illuminate to let you know that the water pump is on. You also have low point drains for the water and the tank releases one for the black and one for the gray, just a very cool system, you don't see this often, so it's very, very convenient, you know, if you're getting your storage items, you'll be up to here, but for the most part, when you're setting up camp, you're going to plug in, you're lighting up there and everything water related is going to take place down here, so it's a very interesting system and easy to use that addresses the Here back is that camera we talked about to the left of the door, now standard on the Cirrus.

You can see we have the back porch light with a cool, stylish, modern LED, and that's what the Sirius is all about, it's very modern. a little bit of European style, maybe it's even just a combination of American and European, it's just a very different product, it's great, if you've seen the tabs and label on all the teardrop

s you'll be familiar with the style , another thing. What they did this year was use a Fiamma handle so now it's closed and it gives you a little extra protection for the door while the year is in travel mode, what you could do is release this, a bit difficult to do. one hand, but we'll let go of it and open the handle that will give you access to the door, of course, you have the ladder on the right, it folds in half like this, you can extend it all the way down to get there.

Up top Sirius also provides you with a custom diamond plate bumper that gives it a very attractive look, very durable. You also have aluminum steps to give you a little more assistance while getting into the camper, so let's jump in here quickly. Some of the new things here you also have the door bracket, so you'll see that here it will connect on the edge of the diamond blade bumper, there you go, very cold or on the European door, they're using this on the tab. 400 in addition to the tab, now you have a couple of little storage pockets right there on the door, a trash can at the bottom if you want to use it, you can use it as something else if you want, but a little pocket there for your fire extinguisher your door also has its shadow.

I'm so cool going left right here you have a lot of your switches so your light here controls the light right above us as we walk across your porch The light controls the light outside above the door that we just saw. Your awning light will control the light strip at the end of the awning. The switch for your rear view camera is right there. You must make sure it is turned on to operate your camera. New color scheme. Inside, they have chosen a kind of combination of birch wood and gray wood. It's very light, makes it feel super open.

They've also made a couple of improvements here to make it even more open, as we'll see here in Just a Second, but let's turn around here and we'll grab the closet, so immediately walking to the left, above those switches, you'll have the closet. I don't know if you caught it there, but as soon as we open this door. That light came on, so again, automatic light. You have a very nice hanging wardrobe. Here you can see the new camping bag with your manuals and things that close with buttons to keep everything tightly closed while traveling. You will find this on the page. tabs, this was also in the previous series, but they have an amazing screen door, so you can close it like this.

It's fantastic, it's a super simple and easy to use screen door, obviously you can let in a ton of fresh air to keep the bugs out. Coming in on the right side of the front door you have the wet room and the same sink also comes back so you have the European style folding sink so you can fold the tap down like that when you are. you will not use the sink and you will fold or store the sink, which will give you more space to shower. Place the foot flush toilet here. You have a toilet paper holder on the left and of course the shower rod setup.

This is great. This is completely new. I have not personally seen it in any of the products we carry. This is an integrator. This is a fan and a light all in one, so with the sockets, this button here turns off the lights and you can open it. open, you have a little fan right there, very, very cool, I haven't seen it yet, you also have a little bit of storage space here on the right, you can hang some of your toiletries here waterproof and bring this. downstairs too so that'll be it for the wet bathroom area okay let's walk around here we'll do the kitchen next let's take a look at this while we're back here so we're talking about keeping this nice and open for the new.

Molly or what they did was down here, actually the back of the dining room would come up, it wasn't necessarily a problem, but it did obstruct the view a little bit, so they got rid of that this year and it's completely open. it just gives it a totally different look seeing this in person here again, new color schemes, very very bright, LED lights shine throughout. I mean this is a beautiful camper inside, more space saving, they went ahead, got rid of the big Samsung microwave they had. Moved to a more conventional standard RV microwave. If you don't want a microwave that comes standard, you can offer kitchen storage right there, but again, they ship and come standard with a microwave and it doesn't take up much space anymore. quite convenient and located up there in a very nice place.

You have a camera to the left of that button again. They added a shelf this year, giving you a little more usable storage. They just split it in half and decorative lighting You've probably seen this before if you've seen this year's new Sears sink. New sink and faucet, so the sink is a little more usable, deeper, wider, brand new faucet that you can turn if you like the latest stuff. a glass top stove is that when it's down like it's here you have flush counter space, when you want to use it you can open the glass top and reveal your burners what they did this year and what they were like. an ignition button so you no longer have to bring matches or anything to light the stove, just press that button and align the stove, no problem like you would at home, very good improvement, again we are going to open this to cook , you don't cook on the glass lid, you have to keep it open when you want to use it, so here you have the full display panel, so the Ollie system will be your heating and hot water system, we will have a video that goes in depthon how to control the audio system specifically, but you can run it from shore or propane, whichever you want below. tank monitoring panel, so this will monitor your cool gray and black tanks and has a few more switches inside, here you have the overhead lights that accentuate the lighting and the sink light, although they all control several 12 volt LED strip lights .

USB outlet underneath and a 110 GFI under the kitchen tons of storage you have some storage cabinets you have storage drawers one of the things that the new campground is very well known for is their cabinets so they have some of best cabinets out there all hardwood you can see the veneer you can see the dovetail cabinets the push button locks again keep everything very very secure wonderful cabinets just some of the best out there added a couple of cubicles here this year. They used to be some small shallow drawers, now they have cubbies, now you have an 8 5 cubic foot refrigerator upstairs.

There is a Norcold refrigerator that will be three way so there will be 12 volt propane gas or 110 shore power. On the right, you have your dining room, you have upper storage cabinets, tons of space up there, you can see the decorative LED light is there. Also on a pair of LED lights above, this year they have opted for a new super durable vinyl upholstery. The amazing color feels great and cleans up incredibly well. You know, we've had tons of customers come here, of course. trying it out, doing a demo and they cleaned it fantastically and here in Georgia we have the Georgia red clay and you wouldn't even know that your dining table this year is on a rail system so you have the top rail where it is. now you've got a bottom rail down there and you can see in the middle of that leg here it's going to fold in half.

What you would do is drop this table onto the bottom rail, bend the leg in half and pull. all these cushions will turn you into another sleeping area, if you want to be here while we are down, you have your converter. If you have any electrical problems, this is always a good first place to check. You can check the fuses on your circuit breakers to see. If something gets tripped over, as is the case with all new camping products, it has European acrylic windows. These are double pane windows and insulate well compared to standard RV windows.

The opening radius is substantial compared to a typical RV window that could tilt. outward a little bit, these open almost 90 degrees, if you want, it will also have a drop-down screen, just like the sliding door, it will also have a drop-down screen, so give it a look and this window is huge here in the dining room. You can see you have some speakers up here, so they've moved on to a new speaker system that we'll see in the bedroom, but I've moved on to the fusion because the sound quality is amazing and you know there was nothing wrong with the speaker system before. sound, but this is a very, very improved sound, phenomenal, up here you will have a fantastic three-speed fan.

It's going to be multidirectional. You can blow air in or out, whatever you want to do this year. What they also changed was that they upgraded to a Coleman Mach air conditioner. You can control everything right here with these buttons in the air. The conditioning unit itself is also bluetooth, so you can connect that too. While we're talking about bluetooth, they have some smart camp technology here at this Cirrus, when you buy one, you'll be able to go to a specific IP address to download. the app and the app on your iPhone or Android will allow you to control the lights.

You can actually turn the fan back on. The separate Bluetooth app will control the air conditioner so you can control many things from your phone. A cool new canvas. They said they intend to make it a little more advanced in the future and add even more functionality to the front. Here you were going to have a front window which is not very common on camper vans, but you have another window that opens upwards. front with painted ears, European style curtains and screens, you have reading lights on each side of the bed, plus some headboard storage to the right and left of the bed, they got rid of the cabinets, can be A bit difficult. to see in the video, but you can see that the windows screen and the shadow box come out a little bit, so what used to happen is that you couldn't open the cabinets all the way because of that, so they chose to use cubbies this year . small improvement still profound, same storage as before, now a little easier to use, has storage on each side, here you can see these, a good amount of storage on each side of the bed, while we are here, these again, new.

The speaker fusion and they have now gone for a more simplistic radio setup, so it is designed to be Bluetooth streaming only. If you want to use any HDMI connection you know of to perhaps connect to a DVD player, you certainly can. the connections are here on the front for HDMI and they're also there for USB so if you have a streaming device of any kind you can plug it in there as well in a little cubby we have the TV here set up facing if you were in the kitchen or in the dining room, you wanted to watch it but it rotates, so all you are going to do is turn it around and now you will have the television here in the bedroom, you also have another speaker there. in the corner along with more storage space on the roof back to the bed decorative lighting above very very well built very beautiful with the color scheme the LED lighting weight wise again this will be for three quarter vans ton, short bed trucks always Consult us or your local dealer.

We build a lot of camper vans so you know we are familiar with aftermarket accessories to make sure your van is equipped to handle this.
