Feb 27, 2020
What's up guys, how are you doing with this watch? I hope it goes well for everyone and today we are going to take a look at the new Drawbras 75ts. For the past few years, my favorite

true

wireless

earbuds have been the Jawbros 65t

elite

, so when I heard they were making a new version of those

true

wireless

earbuds, I was super excited. I've been testing these things for the last few days and what I want to do specifically in this video is compare them directly to the new Apple Airpod pros that have been received tremendously well between these two.

I don't think you can get better true wireless earbuds, so we'll go over the pros and cons of both to determine which is better and which. It's the latest in true wireless earbuds so if you're interested let's get straight to it now, first let's talk about the price of both at Apple airport pros they sell for around 250 dollars they include a qi wireless charging case now Jabra's. 75t are around 200 over the standard price and unfortunately the charging case is just a standard USB C connection so no wireless charging here but they also recently went on sale for around 179 dollars which It makes a difference of 70 currently between these two and that's it.

More Interesting Facts About,

jabra elite 75t vs apple airpod pro best true wireless on the planet...

Now there is a pretty big difference in terms of the design of both. You can see that the Air Pod pros are basically using the classic Air Pod uh design philosophy, where you have the stem that will extend the microphone a little bit closer to your ear to capture your voice with a little more clarity and precision. We'll do an audio test between the microphones in a moment, but essentially a lot of the commands you'll use to control your headphones will go through series, so having a good microphone is very important, they feel great and they look quite stylish. and much more discreet than standard

airpod

s, although you still have that stem sticking out, but they don't stick out too much laterally, so they feel pretty secure in every circumstance you find yourself in, whether you're going to use them for exercise, walking around the house or something, such a great overall fit, very comfortable, they also have a pressure release valve that will release some of the internal pressure that tends to build up in the ear canal for some people and it also has three tip options for those ear tips included in the box and Apple also has a test to determine which ear tips

best

fit your ear.

I always prefer the bigger one. Headphones based on my ear size and the better they fit, the better sound quality and better passive noise cancellation experience you will have too. Now the 75t looks deceptively a bit more compact, but actually sticks out a bit. A little more laterally, although they don't have that stem design, they definitely look a little more understated in the year and especially in this black color, in my opinion, they look very elegant and stylish, and there is also another gray finish titanium if you wish. get that look compared to the air pods they only come with this white finish which again is a choice Apple makes from an aesthetic perspective but in terms of fit and shape I prefer the 75t I think they look a bit nicer discreet They personally fit in my ear a little more securely, especially for doing any kind of physical activity, and just the overall discreteness of the 75 tees is something I prefer, compared to this thing where it now seems like a trademark that whether you're using an

airpod

or an airpod clone, so while this is still better than the original airpod design, i still prefer the look of this thing in my ear a little better now that i move on, let's talk compatibility and technology general wireless which is built into the inside of the airpod pros, they are technically still based on bluetooth five so they can work with pretty much everything out there, but they are actually optimized for ios devices as they have the h1 wireless chip enabled inside and connected to an iOS device, signal quality and strength, and overall quality.
jabra elite 75t vs apple airpod pro best true wireless on the planet
Signal integrity is super strong. You can go well beyond the 10 meter uh range that is recommended with these two and not experience any major hiccups and definitely a stronger wireless signal thanks to the h1 wireless chip in the 75 t. Both are compatible with iOS and Android as well as other Bluetooth devices, and there is an app along with 75T that is available on both iOS and Android in terms of actual signal quality. It's pretty good in terms of close range if you're within five meters of the streaming device, no issues to report, but if you go to 10 meters or 33 feet you'll experience some major issues in terms of the audio signal, well clipped , now on rare occasions I have experienced that the left earbuds cut out for a brief moment and come back on and that happens very rarely but I have experienced it on several occasions so far but maybe there is a firmware update to help with that problem, but in terms of overall wireless connectivity, it's pretty solid for 98 of the cases in terms of overall durability, build quality, things like that, they're both very good in terms of overall build quality, polycarbonate, high quality build In terms of IP rating, we are looking at IPX4 rating on the Airpod Pros. and that's sweat and water resistant specifically, they're talking about splash water on the airpod pros and on the 75t we have an ip55 rating which is technically a higher rating, obviously it's rated for dusty water but specifically for water jets low power. sprayed directly onto the 75t, making it a little more waterproof.
Now keep in mind that both are not 100 waterproof, so you can't swim with them, they surface completely, which could cause some internal and operational damage. The temperature on both is around minus five to plus 45 degrees Celsius and in terms of the standard warranty, you're looking at a one year limited warranty with Apple on the Airpod Pros versus Jabra giving you two years on the 75t now. One of the key differences between these two is the fact that the Apple Airpod Pro has active noise cancellation, while we are seeing passive noise cancellation on the 75 T. Now both have their transparency mode on the Airpod Pro and We have a similar feature.
Called listening mode on the 75t, where they basically broadcast the environment through the microphones and amplify it through the internal drivers so that you are more aware of your surroundings or if you want to talk to someone, you don't have to take off. the earbuds and both work similarly internally in the software, you can change the volume you want to listen to or the transparency mode and it's definitely a useful safety feature and definitely a convenience factor, however now in terms of the sound quality In itself, both are classified. from 20 hertz to 20,000 hertz, although both have the same overall dynamic range, there is obviously a different audio profile in the drivers themselves.
Apple's Airpod Pros definitely have much better bass response compared to the traditional second-generation Air Pods. and although they use the same driver because the chamber is a little bigger and we are using headphones it seals the bass response better and the overall sound quality is better than the standard airpods and it definitely has an incredible treble. -final frequency spectrum, as well as a well-rounded and super defined midrange spectrum and the same goes for the 75 t, but what the 75 t has is a lot of volume, a lot of punch and power in the low end and depending on your Personal taste If you like low frequencies, the 75T are one of the most powerful headphones I have tested in the low frequency spectrum and really deliver a powerful feeling in the bass that is similar to a high quality headphone. beats studio pro type headphones or something like that from audio technica, so from a sound quality perspective for me it's 75t all day long.
I would say I would give them nine and a half out of ten compared to 8 out of 10 in terms of overall sound quality on the airpod pros, now beyond the overall sound quality we also have adaptive equalization capabilities on the airpod pros, already which actually have a microphone located inside that will tune the audio, uh, specifically to your ear canal, it may or may not. Generally, being a good thing is not a good thing, especially if you want a pure, unequalized sound, if you are an audiophile and stuff like that, now the 75 ts, although they have a pretty low bias out of the box, you can take it. low end if you want thanks to the fact that the app has a built-in equalizer and there are different presets if you want to use them too.
Before we continue, I just want to talk about our sponsor who made this video. possible, now I never paid much attention to the whole manscaping thing. I have a hard time shaving my face the way it is and going downstairs to get ready. It has never been my forte and that was until I discovered the Manscaped Lawn Mower 2.0 along with the Manscape Perfect Bundle Kit 2.0. This is a simple way to ensure you look, feel and smell good everywhere the sun doesn't shine. Now the USB, a rechargeable lawnmower, is specially designed not to damage the family jewels. waterproof, travel friendly and very easy to use, and for a gorilla like me to have a dedicated trimmer for everything and with the neck down, it definitely makes a lot of sense, it's a little gross to use the same razor on your face and the body.
Also, since I'm a fairly active person, I sweat a lot in almost all areas and Manscape also provided me with a crop preserver, a deodorant that has anti-chafing properties that will hopefully help me perform better and make me smell less like dead horse after a workout now if you're interested in looking and feeling amazing definitely check out manscape.com and if you want 20 off free shipping and two freebies use our promo code mwtec20 to get that discount. We want to thank manscape for helping us make this content possible. now let's get back to our comparison, let's talk about the control interfaces on both platforms, starting with the airpods pros, essentially here we have a pinch sensor or a touch force sensor where you touch it and it can pause your music or you can also call siri to initiate a voice command.
You can also say hello siri to initiate a specific command. Much of the functionality and control interface of the airpod pros is dictated by a voice, which is good in terms of not being tied to the headphones themselves, especially when you have your hands busy with something else, but bad in terms of having full control over the airpods themselves from a physical point of view, since, for example, you can't change the volume settings without asking Siri or lowering the volume. to your iPhone or Apple Watch to physically change the volume now on the Jabra 75 t as they are compatible with almost all platforms uh including Android and iOS it has a lot of features built into the buttons.
The buttons themselves are super simple, basically a single button on the right side and a single button on the left side, and you have many of the standard commands you'll find on many true wireless earbuds, like double-tapping to move on to the next one. Triple tap the song to repeat a song and you can also press and hold left and right for specific functions and you can customize those functions, whether it's to remember the voice dictation system, so it could be Alexa Siri or Assistant from Google or you. You could uh enable or disable direct listening mode on let's say the left side by holding it down for a short second.
Now let's continue talking about the microphones themselves which are now listening to the internal microphones of the 75 t. Now it's actually four of Many of them are used to cancel ambient noise environments in order to amplify the voice a little bit better for call quality and things like that, we're actually using a bluetooth uh app to record this audio directly and obviously with the quality of the phone call. It will depend on your carrier reception, your particular smartphone, and things like that, but let's move on to the Airpod Pros. Okay, now we're listening to the internal microphones of the Airpod Pros.
We now have two dual beamforming microphones on the stem itself and it's closer to the mouse so it should be better in terms of pickup and again we're using the same bluetooth app to record it so I hope this gives you a little insight. idea in terms of how they both sound but obviously it will be different in terms of actual call quality as we mentioned before lastly let's talk about battery performance the airpods pros with noise cancellation and listening mode disabled will give you They will provide five hours of listening time and the charging case will give you 24 hours of use and 75 t. uh, for the headphones onyes, there's up to seven and a half hours of listening time, that's of course with the listening mode off and uh the case itself will give you 28 hours of use, so right out of the box it looks like This is better in terms. of battery life and I did a real-world test comparison and after about three discharge cycles, my average usage time of the Air Pod Pro with noise cancellation on was about 4 hours and 12 minutes and with the 75t basically with listening mode The shutdown was about five hours and 31 minutes, so definitely in terms of battery life the 75t is the clear winner.
Both have fast charging capabilities for about 15 minutes of charging time which will give you about an hour or so of listening experience now. To summarize everything I've talked about I just want to talk about the pros on both platforms now, the airpod pros, I definitely had the advantage of active noise cancellation versus passive noise cancellation on the 75 tees, it also has that pressure release valve that will help It will alleviate any kind of discomfort from prolonged use and the H1 wireless chip is definitely a bit more secure and a more robust connection to your iOS device compared to what I experienced with the Bluetooth connection on the 75 TS.
Lastly, we have wireless charging capabilities in the case itself, rather than not having them. the 75 ts now, the jawbr75ts definitely have a lot to like, first of all, in terms of the price: you're looking at a seventy dollar difference right now with the retail price of around a hundred and eighty dollars, that's 250 dollars in the airpod pro, so definitely. uh better deal, it has a little more discreet profile and definitely looks a little more discreet in the ear, less obtrusive in my opinion, I just like the design a little more, especially in this black color, than the airpod pros. which everyone knows you're using third, it's not a huge difference, but you have a stronger IP rating, so it can take a little more abuse in terms of dust and water resistance, and you have a two-year warranty instead of one.
One year warranty with Apple, plus a big deal breaker for me personally is the fact that they are compatible. I'm always switching between iOS and Android devices and my primary controller for my smartphone is usually an Android device and I can just do it. I don't use all the features with the Airpod Pros since they're actually an iOS platform tied to Apple to begin with, so that's a bit of a bummer compared to this, it's great on iOS and pretty good on Android too, plus, The battery life on the 75t is definitely better than the Airpod Pro in both the earbuds and the charging case and lastly from an audio perspective which is the main reason I would buy these things is the fact that they are so powerful, super loud and very similar. to a great over-the-ear headphone, so if you're looking for a true wireless headphone with really powerful sound, I think this is probably the first one on my list, but I really do guys, and that's what I definitely love listening.
What you guys think of these two truly wireless earbuds: They're pretty expensive anyway, but I think they should last at least a year or two and, especially from an investment standpoint, true wireless is really the way to go. continue, as headphone jacks have practically become extinct on most modern devices, so investing in a set of high-quality true wireless earbuds is going to be a very popular thing, which is why so many companies are trying to sell one but in terms of the good ones I think these two are definitely at the top and for me the 75t are my top pick so far I would definitely love to hear your opinion on what you think is the

best

true wireless earbuds available currently and we will do a roundup of some of the other great options, if you are interested I want to say a big thank you to our sponsor for making this video possible and an even bigger thank you for supporting the channel, give us a thumbs up if you like this video and check.
