Mar 26, 2024
foreigners you welcome back to my channel we have a very exciting video today I am 34 weeks today and in full

nest

ing mode today's agenda is to wash all the clothes, put them all away, clean his changing table and then I also want to put together the bassinet today and prepare the changing table for the room, so we'll do all that today. We are currently in our second bedroom, which is where the babies' clothes and their closet are, so we will organize that. that's what it looks like behind me unfortunately we're not going to make him a nursery just because we're moving two months after he's born and those first few months he'll be in the bassinet in a room anyway so there was no point set up a daycare at home if we had to tear it down in two weeks or two months.

Sorry for now, he has his closet, the changing table in our room, and the bassinet, so that's all he'll need from time to time. once we move in we will get him the cribs, give the dresser a touch up and everything, that little diaper changing station is just a small solution since we don't have the nursery at the moment, but ideally we would have a dresser with all your things. there in his room, so yeah, half of this closet is still used for

storage

. These things are just things that were originally in this closet and then obviously we got pregnant so we had to make room for his things, but his things look like this. this and he has quite a few things that are not going to lie, so that's the crib, that's the bassinet that we're going to put together today, that's the kikaru peanut changing table that we're putting out today, that's a little bit, um, on the fly. , play with the sleeper, this thing. two are full of clothes, we have her snuggle and then Behind these boxes, um, there's a bunch of diapers and formula, we've got the diaper bags, the breast pump, a bunch of stuff that hasn't been unpacked and then all of them In Actually, these things are going to go on the changing table in our room, but yes, we are going to wash all of this.

More Interesting Facts About,

nest with me baby laundry organization storage ideas...

I currently have it organized by size, so I have these little organizers here that are just dividing everything up. her clothes, like I said, she has quite a few um and that's not even half of it, my mom has maybe two more of these full of clothes that I need to go pick up, so for now I'm just going to use these two this is actually her hamper, he's going to his daycare um and this is just our normal hamper that we have foreign foreigners okay that took a little longer than I expected but I guess a lot more clothes than I expected so these are all lights.

They are all dark obviously we are not going to put them all in one load so the closet is all clean while you do the

laundry

what I am going to do is gather the things from the changing table and then organize a couple of things that I still need to pack your bag of diapers and finish packing my hospital bag, so that's on the agenda today, but yeah, we made a lot of progress too, so let's start with the lights first just because that's the one where we have the least amount of good news foreigners. that

baby

drift is actually not good for babies because it has perfumes and whatever else it has so we are using the free and soft tide it has no dies or perfumes made for sensitive skin so we will see if we like this, but yes, I had it.

I originally bought the

baby

dressed, but after doing some more research I decided against it and went and returned it and bought this instead, but yeah, we're going to let this work and while this is working, we're going to go and put the changing table on. together we have the lights currently in the washing machine, one of two loads, but these are the dark ones that still need washing. I'm thinking what I'll do with these containers to keep using them is put any of their larger ones in. clothes in there, since we don't have a dresser for him right now, I'm just going to fold the zero to three month clothes in those little baskets that are there for the changing table in our room and then anything bigger will just go in there and a Once we move and I have a dresser, we can change it because it won't be any larger than zero to three.
I figure for the next two months he'll be here and then we can fix everything, okay? a small summary of everything we have. I have all these organizing containers that I'm going to put on the changing table and then all of this is just toilet tree stuff, body wash, shampoo, butt paste, Q-tips for the chest. water pump wipes wipes this is a small diaper cart

storage

bins I'm going to use these to clean all the surfaces we have nursing bags I brought diapers and then these I bought for the cart so we'll see what we use here and then of course , we have the kikaru.
This car will be the diaper pump stroller just for moving around the house and it will go in the corner of the room next to the bassinet so I'll see what we end up using and then of course I have the diaper bag and my hospital bag, which I will finish packing today. Strange because it's progressing, but this is what I have right now, so this one just has diapers, obviously, this is where we'll be changing diapers, this is a bunch of wipes, the next place is all bathing supplies and similar personal care stuff. and then down here I'll put the rest of these and we'll have pants, shirts. and some onesies like pajamas and stuff like that down here and then in the cart, I'll have diapers, burp cloth, all that fun stuff since I'll most likely wear them while I'm traveling, that way we can carry them around easier and you'll probably have have to be more accessible guys, so here's the deal: I have all the lights washed, now it's time to separate them, so I think I'll sort them into piles or sizes and then once I have the sizes figured out, then.
I'll just fold them and put them away foreigner foreigner thanks Hi guys welcome back it's been a couple of days since those last clips we started the whole

nest

ing process on Saturday I mean me and yes it took a lot longer than I expected I thought or hoped I guess the baby has a lot of clothes. I think I liked five cycles of clothes on Sunday. I finished sorting everything by size and then I folded everything and put it all away, but yeah, I'll show you what. It looks like I sorted them into two bins, one is three to six months and then I think the other bin is six months or more.
I finished the closet and the changing table. Let's show you what the closet looks like and everything else. here's a little overview of the closet again, everything here is washed here. I left some of her rompers and nicer clothes hanging and then since we don't have a dresser right now, I put the rest of her stuff in here, so these are like her zero to three clothes that would essentially go on a dresser, but not we have one right now, so they'll go there for now. These are all pants or shorts, they're little t-shirts and then they're like long sleeve shirts. just a little pile and this little container I have little games this guy has little hats and some bibs down here and this little one we have gloves here we have baby socks this is the Zen sleeping bag this is the little car seat pad for my car protector mattress a handheld fan which is perfect for the stroller in the summer months it has legs that you can fold into the little rails of the stroller we also keep it in my hospital bag and then we have the little Frida Baby Portable Sound Machine.
This also goes in my hospital bag, but we will carry it in the diaper bag just for travel. Here we have the car monitor instead of the mirror that turns on as if it were your head. rest in the back seat to see the baby we have one of those little cameras that go in the headrest and you can see the baby from the monitor in the front this is the car seat cover it's like a sage green silicone bib these It's all baby boy books we have quite a few, very proud of their collection, some of them are in English and Spanish and then in this little container we have some small toys, this guy goes in the car seat, just put this in the a small top and keeps baby entertained.
I think these are called adorable. I'm not sure, but he has two, one is a little lamb and the other is a little sloth. I think they're super adorable and then he has a little flash of development. Cards here, so you have black and white cards from zero to three months and then they start to get colored and a little more complex as the baby grows. These are just for your development and visual stimulation on this toe that we have. everything that is three to six months and then this one below is over six months up to I think 24 months and yeah, that's it, so everything has been cleaned, everything has been folded and organized, obviously, we can't wait to move, so honey.
The kid can have his daycare and my husband can have his office back, but until then this will do, but I'm glad that's all taken care of for now, so there you have it, the baby's closet, so now we're in our bedroom I wanted to show you just a little overview of the changing table, so this is our changing table. It is currently in the corner of our bedroom. This is the kikaru peanut changer and then it has two tears down here, so on this one. basket I just have a bunch of diapers I wanted to have diapers here accessible obviously since this is where we're going to change him these are just wipes we have a bunch of wipes with water just some regular Huggies wipes back there this little container has things for bathing and grooming we have the little Johnson and Johnson calming shampoo the Dove Sensitive body wash this is what we're going to use for his day to day shampoo it's just the baby shampoo and wash with pipette you're going to use this one if he's really fussy and needs to sleep a little better , but these are actually better rated than those from Johnson's Brands. um some boogie wipes these are just saline wipes these are little wipes for when you bathe these were just little ones.
Aquaphor packets and flu water samples that came with the check-in bag, so I threw them in there, um baby Q-tips, a little electric nail file. I actually got a different version than nosefrida. I have read many people who complain. how the tip of the nosefrida is actually a little too big for babies, so they preferred a brush and a comb, a baby thermometer and then we have a water duck that will tell you when the water is too hot for the temperature, so that's there, we can easily grab the basket when we're bathing him and go from there, but I wanted to keep these top three rows, uh, what we would use the most, so they're up here in this little basket. he has his diapers and his bath towels, this one and this one up here are bath towels and then this little container has little t-shirts, so most of them are newborn ones and I think there's a couple back here that are from scratch to three In the closet you probably saw the stack of zero to three t-shirts and things I have there.
Obviously I'm saving them so that once he grows out of being a newborn we can change them, but most of them are newborns, which is what they'll be in for the first few weeks and these are just pants, so the same goes for these, most of them are newborns and there's just a couple in the back that are zero to three months old and we'll change them once he. it grows out of size and goes on from there, yes that's what the changing table looks like, quite functional. I guess for us it has everything we need for the first few months so I'm really excited to use it and put it to use and then just be done. here on the side we have this little basket so that when we change it or whatever we can throw away, that's what he seems very excited about and I'm very happy to have that out of the way, it's one less thing.
I have to worry about the foreigner
