HAND TATTOOS: What You Need To Know | Stef Sanjati [CC]

Mar 07, 2024
- Hello Bollitos, I'm Stef. Welcome back to my house. Home, spelled H-O-E-M, and do you

know

why? You'll have to figure it out, okay. Today I'm here to talk to you about

tattoos

, something I have a lot of (laughs). Okay, it's been a while and I've been collecting, stabbing and stabbing some more and getting stabbed. I can't say why I like it so much or why I have so many, it's something I enjoy and like. Maybe it's something strange and primitive, where only the adrenaline of pain makes me feel alive. That's probably it. Let's go with that (laughs).

It sounds responsible and very human. Now I have two

tattoos

on my

hand

s. One of them is a machine tattoo and the other is a stick and poke and I want to talk to you about that experience, both experiences. Even more so the stick and the prick because it is more recent and I can remember it and I have images. Ah, but I'll tell you about both. So let's start with the

hand

because I have less memory and less information about that. This one was done by an artist called AJ Richardson. I mentioned this in my last tattoo video, but I didn't really talk about it in detail.

More Interesting Facts About,

hand tattoos what you need to know stef sanjati cc...

I don't remember it hurting more dramatically than the rest of my arm, but there is a strange tattoo pain, which is not exactly pain, and it's like the movement of your insides and I felt it and when I had surgery on my sternum and I also felt it inside from my hand, just because the hand is very small. So if something hits the top as fast, as fast as a tattoo machine, it will vibrate, like everything. It will be very vibrational, so to speak. That's

what

happened here. So it wasn't really so much superficial pain. It wasn't so much the pain of being poked a lot.

It was more the fact that I could feel everything inside my hand, as if it were moving with each prick of the

need

le. And it's uncomfortable. Uncomfortable is a great way to describe it, but I wouldn't describe it as more painful than the rest of my arm. When it went to my finger here, when it went to my finger, when it invaded my finger here, do you

know

how it drips, drips, drips down the wing of my finger? I also don't remember it hurting anymore, but it was definitely a more acute sensation because the skin on the fingers is very thin and is abused a lot.

You use your hands a lot so that the skin becomes harder. So we had to take longer to do the finger, but it healed pretty well. The only part that didn't heal well is the knuckle and that is very common. And the same thing happened here. And that's only because your knuckles, like skin, move a lot on your knuckles. The knuckles are used to the maximum if you have a hand impact of any kind. So if you're like a street fighter or you're part of a secret fighting group, that you can't talk about and there are rules about it, you know

what

I mean, then maybe you're going to have some tough times.
Healing your knuckles, okay. Or maybe if you are just reckless, careless and clean without gloves, and maybe if you are also a normal person. So I may have that touched up at some point just because it's a little discolored on the top of the knuckle, but I don't care either. I think some fading gives it some character, so I'm not worried. But overall, a pretty standard experience, nothing crazy with the hand in terms of pain and the same goes for the second tattoo, because I know a lot of people are very worried about whether it's going to hurt.
Is it more painful-worthy-worthy? But it's not really, I don't think so. That said, everyone's experiences with pain are subjective, so something that doesn't cause me any pain can cause you excruciating, torturous, raging pain. Well, keep that in mind. Don't quote me and get mad if you get a tattoo on your hand and you're suffering. Please. Thank you. Sometimes they ask me: Aren't you afraid of getting tattoos on your hands because then you won't be able to get a job? And I have the privilege of working in a field where that doesn't matter. This is my job.
I can do whatever I want with my body and no one can tell me it's bad or inappropriate or fire me for it. I mean, you can tell me it's bad and inappropriate, but I won't care because... That's the reason I did it. I hope you loved it. I don't exist in a world where I have to worry about people dismissing me because of my appearance, so I'm grateful for that, but I know that's not everyone's reality and I hope we're in a world where that doesn't matter in the future. . In the next few years, I know it will take time, but I can already see, and you can see in tattoo trends, statistics, research and studies, that people are getting more tattoos than ever before in history and that's only because it's more acceptable and more accessible and that's great for me.
So I think that as that pattern continues, it will become more and more acceptable to have visible tattoos in workplaces, including corporate environments, where the soul is controlled by so many rules, oh my goodness, oh. It's okay, it's okay. You know you can always wear a glove and you had an accident on your hand and you only have to wear a glove if you really want to get a tattoo, I mean just lie. Nothing wrong with that. I want to talk now about my tattoo on my thumb, finger one down here. As soon as I got this I immediately noticed all the space around it that wasn't filled and that happens when you get a lot of tattoos.
You stop noticing your tattoos and start noticing the empty spaces because they are much more visible than the real tattoos. It's very frustrating, so I'm very, very happy to finally get this here. And this is a knife and swipe done by my friend Jenna. They call her Tat Brat on Instagram. It's worth investigating. She is a really great talented artist. She has a very interesting style. She's just a great person and I really like her, so you should visit her Instagram, linked in the description box. Just type it into your phone right now and follow along on Instagram while I talk about the tattoo.
I think it's kind of a complementary experience and should really be done as a whole. This was a stick and a hit and I actually have a stick and a hit from Jenna. By the way, this is like her fifth tattoo. She is so cool, I love her. I had some pain on this one, which could have been because she was a lot newer to this when I had this done and it could also have been because there's just more going on here, I don't know, but I literally had no pain with this (the phone rings).
Zero pain. It's okay (mumbles). - Very sorry. - Okay, okay. - Hello? Pause. I don't know where she was. But let's go back in, okay? I had no pain with this tattoo on my thumb. I barely felt it. It felt like someone was saying ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. As if it were (murmurs). Whatever, you know what I mean, it was good. Whatever you want? So listen, every tattoo artist I know and see more than once knows how obsessed I am with tattooing eyes on my body so when I told her I wanted to go see her, she made me some designs, which is great. .
Let me put a clippy. A little clip of that, just a little clip. - I drew a lot, so this is my Stef page. - Ooh, oh word, that's a Stef page, shit. - So these were all kinds of his stuff, so if we had a bigger space we could do something more intense. So I drew the skull first, but then I know you love eyes and stuff so I was playing with that concept as well and then we have the darker and lighter versions, but if we want to go smaller and simpler, I liked the three different ones.
The ones there are are kind of cool. - I see. - I'm very attracted to this one. - Cool. - For this space, is that what you were thinking? - Yeah, I just wanted to see how yeah, you could probably do it there or... - Or there. - Or well... - Hm, are we going to fill a page? - Ah, for me. - Yes, Felipe. - It will be great. - We'll see. - So yeah, I saw that you already had a wolf face, so I wanted to do something a little different, while keeping the geometric style. - That's great. - I thought something like that would be cool.
I started building like a fund, 22. - Ooh. - Which we could add... - I love it. - Yeah? I wasn't sure about that, I thought it could go either way because I thought it looked really cool. I see that they are also like trees. - as simple. - But if you wanted to go - The background is incredible. - A little bigger too, you have space. Space (man drowns out speaker) - Never, I think I'll go here. - Great, yes, we definitely have that. - Start there. - That space. - Yes, no, it's your art. - In the end I decided on this one because I really like open space in my tattoos.
I don't like that they are super, super stuffed. I like the skin to show through the lines. This one had less black and had this cool image of a woman crying and most of my eyes on my body are crying, which I might want to change right now. Like not changing old tattoos, but maybe just getting prettier eyes that don't cry. Maybe that would improve my mental state if I stopped covering myself with sadness. Maybe not, you know, who knows, who can say, who can be sure? As with this part, I'd say the most that came of it was awkward.
It got more awkward when I was filling in the darker areas because I had to go over some things like the handle here, but in the end this didn't take long to stick and poke and felt very painless, so if you're curious. As for the pain level of a stick and poke tattoo or a hand tattoo, I would say it is minimal, just like the rest of the arm. Sticking and poking even less. Stick and poke is an interesting art form. It is very atavistic. If you like. If you like. I wonder why I might be twisting that definition.
I wonder. It should have nothing to do with the future of my content management and my life. It's probably nothing at all. If you were wondering about pain, there you have your answer. If you're wondering about employability, my answer is that I don't give a damn (coughing). That was supposed to be much cooler and then I choked on air and then. We all suffer for it. If that's something that worries you then by all means wait or just get tattoos on parts of your body that you can cover because I know that not everyone has the privilege to express themselves however they want.
And that sucks and I want to change it for the entire planet, but one person at a time, you know what I mean? I'm going to go back and touch it up just because around the knuckle here, like I said here, it's faded a little bit just because I can't help but use my hands. I have to move them, I have to use them and when you're healing a tattoo you're not supposed to wash it or moisturize it too much and with your hands that can be difficult so it's going to be a more difficult healing process or It's not as much of a healing process. well like other parts of the body because you have to compensate for the fact that it's your hand.
You can't just leave them unwashed, if that's your recovery style. You can't just wash them with whatever soap you want and you can't just moisturize them with whatever you want. It has to be very specific. Some of the healing is affected by hand tattoos but that's really the only major difference I experienced, it's not more painful and I think it's really cool when I see a hand that's completely done and everything works together and I'm very excited to be able to do more things in my hand. I think next I want to get something here and then I want to put some things on my finger areas like up here, right here.
I love, love the full hand pieces so I think I'll be going back to Jenna for the rest of my little pieces around the heart. And then I'll go back to Soft Point and have them put these leaves around everything and I'm so excited. Oh my goodness, it will be an experience and we will love it. Grinch up to that bitch in less than a second. I feel like I've covered all the bases. I hope you check out Jenna on Instagram. She's a fantastic artist and a great person and I really respect her. I respect her artistry, I respect her creativity and her hustle and she has progressed in this so quickly and improved so quickly that she can only go uphill from here.
Like she's just a fucking star, so go see her. I love her, she is fantastic. And it's the last time, just remember, I hope you're in a place where you can express yourself outwardly in your body the way you want and if you're not there and it's not possible for you, I hope that's the case. coming soon. I'll do my best to put things in the world that foster that mentality in every person who encounters them so that one day you can hold horrible images in your hand and get a job at Dairy Queen serving those things, like you know. which I mean, like just some skulls and blood and murder and maybe some exposed breasts and all that and it's very normal, you know, that's what I want.
Nothing wrong with that. (cough) One last thing before I go is that I'd love for you to check out the Patreon page I started. I think it's a little confusing and I'm working on clarifying exactly what it is, but basically it's a Patreon for me and Phil, who is another creator, and we're doing things together, so we use it as an opportunity to do things together because we work very good together. It's over here, you can't see it. There is. - We work well. - We work well. I'm honestly very excited about the future of my content.
I know you guys have seen the decline in my content this past year. It was very obvious. I think you can see the deterioration of my mental state and I'm telling you right now, I'm better, I'm ready andI'm furious in a good way. Like he's ready to do things, you know what I mean? So this Patreon is a way to support that and help us create things that are more interesting and exciting for you, and because of that you get a lot of behind-the-scenes content, so if you want to check it out, you're more than welcome to.
I'm still going to be posting three videos a week on this channel, which I haven't done in probably three years, so I'm really excited because I'm going to give you a lot more content than ever before, and if you're a patron, you get even more than that. So it will be Liddy and I hope you will join us. I love you and I'll see you later. Bye, kisses). Nice. - Nice.
