, it is so fun to mix them up and that is what we are doing in this lesson , let's mix the sunset. with yellows, oranges, reds and even purples, but if you don't have this set, don't worry, it's okay, you can use a different set of gel crayons, you can also use something completely different, like colored pencils or even oil pastels , okay, let's get started.

First use our marker to draw a frame around our paper and again remember that you can skip this part and just fill in the entire paper, so I'm going to try to keep this distance around the entire paper. I'm going to turn it. Draw sideways down like this until you completely surround our paper. I also like to do this because I think the drawings look great with a white frame it almost makes it look like a painting. Good job. Keep going. You have one more line. You already did. First we're going to use our yellow gel crayon, we're going to draw The Horizon and I'm going to draw it more or less towards the bottom, not right in the middle of the paper, so now we're going to draw a straight line. draw the sun we're going to draw half a circle right in the middle of our paper now we're ready to color let's start first at the bottom of the horizon or right on the horizon and we're going to color up the top of our paper and I'm going Let's color maybe that far, maybe halfway and we'll do this all the way, but we'll also leave the sun white because it's very hot and very bright.

The next color we're using our lightest orange color and let's start maybe here and this time we're going to use a solid color as we go down and we're going to overlap on top of the yellow. That's why it's so fun to use these gel crayons. use oil pastel, so if you're familiar with what it feels like or how to use oil pastels, these are very similar, it's also fun because they have a plastic handle or body for the crayon and so it doesn't hit you hands. As messy as using oil pastels, plus when you need more crayon, you can twist the bottom and the crayon will come out more, that looks really cool.

To start at the top press firmly so it's nice and solid and then as we go down towards the red press lighter and lighter so you should have this really nice gradation from the purple at the top to the red and then to orange and finally to yellow we did it we finished the sky and now let's change to the ocean or the water and I'm going to use my yellow crown and first we're going to color the Sun and this is the reflection and we don't want it to look like a circle, we want to make the waves, so I'm making a zigzag line, yes, and you can even make it a little bit wider on the left and also on the right, but you also don't want to Let's go through the Sun so we can make the zigzag line going down the water.

It's almost as if the sun is melting into the water. Now let's switch to our orange, this is the lightest orange and we're going to color the water. I'm going to start at the Horizon and we're just going to color it solid, we're not going to do any grading and we're going to color in between the little zigzag lines for the reflection of the sun that's melting into the water and then we'll come. and just color it solid and we don't have to go all the way down because we're also going to add the black silhouette of the sand, so maybe I'll stop here and then color all the way to the edge. let's change to the darker orange and we're going to add just a little gradation starting at the bottom so we can press very firmly at the bottom and then slightly towards the top as you go towards this The Horizon and I'm going to do the same thing here , you can also add little texture lines for the waves if you want, you can press very hard here and you can also put little wave lines if you want, for the last step we will use our black crayon to add. the silhouette first let's draw the beach.

I'm going to draw a kind of wavy line that goes down the middle and then maybe goes back around the sides and then I'm going to color underneath that solid black line that part that we accelerated. above, so remember to pause the video if you need more time. Now we'll go crazy and add a palm tree. I'm going to start here and we're going to draw a curve that goes just above the Horizon and you can make this curve however you want. You can also add as many palm trees as you want. I'm going to make it thicker towards the bottom, so I'll add another line to the side but wider at the bottom.

You could even draw another palm tree, maybe this one will be shorter on the other side, but still make it thicker towards the bottom. Great, it looks really amazing. Thank you.
