Why Trading Chris Paul HELPS the Clippers and WHAT IS NEXT for the Rockets

Mar 09, 2024
What's happening? YouTube is the only winning legend aka Lo and I'm back with another video now for those who are completely unaware of the huge bombshell Rose just dropped. Chris Paul is headed to the Houston Rockets. playing in the same backcourt with James Harden and a ridiculously massive trade involving Houston to the Los Angeles Clippers in this trade Chris Paul and Chris Paul will only go to the Houston Rockets and in return the Los Angeles Clippers will receive a huge amount of players. There are actually more assets than you see on this chart right now, however, these are the biggest assets you get: Sam Dekker, a 2018 first-round pick who is protected by Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and March Raphael, and I really think that's a pretty good haul for the Clippers and I think that's good for the Houston Rockets, but I'm not completely sure and I'm going to talk about both teams, but first let me talk about the Los Angeles Clippers and why exactly they made this exchange.

I personally have had the feeling about Chris Paul with the Los Angeles Clippers for quite some time now and I actually made a video, obviously if you are a loyal subscriber and watch the video you clearly already saw it, however just to get a quick overview of why exactly I felt the Los Angeles Clippers should move forward without Chris Paul is simply because of his age and the amount of money he was going to demand Chris Paul is 32 years old was looking for an offer from the Los Angeles Clippers with the

next

. contract that hovers around $200 million over the

next

five seasons with that kind of money, it's ridiculous to even contemplate giving that to 32-year-old Playrooms, especially since it's not like it's a clear franchise that's been around the team through the good times. and in bad times.

More Interesting Facts About,

why trading chris paul helps the clippers and what is next for the rockets...

It's one thing that you're going to get dirty on Winsky Kobe Bryant Tim Duncan, however, Chris Paul, realistically speaking, didn't even want to be on the Clippers, he just wanted to play in Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Clippers are just a byproduct. of the Los Angeles Lakers and that's it, so there is no real need to show him a level of loyalty that will put you in a financial deficit for years and years and with this new flexibility that you have in your limit you definitely have to look at your free agents mainly Blake Griffin and making a decision about

what

exactly you want to do in the future.

I said this in a previous video, so I'll make sure to put a link in the description and I'll make sure to put a little note or card in the top right corner, but in that video I didn't just say leaving Chris Paul because of his age , but I also turned around and made Blake Griffin the face of the franchise. The Los Angeles Clippers is an organization that definitely needs an identity and Blake Griffin I feel is perfectly suited in that direction and without being told I should clarify before moving forward that I have constantly wondered

what

exactly Dr.
why trading chris paul helps the clippers and what is next for the rockets
Edwards is doing for his organization I feel like this move is only being made because Jerry West has now been involved with the organization so it seems Blake Griffin Chris Paul certain names that have always been around trade rumors for the last year or two Doc Rivers has consistently turned you down with the idea that he will bring back the exact same players every year and while yes, some of these players are fantastic, I think Chris Paul will be a hall of famer. I think Blake Griffin. If you can stay healthy, you can definitely be a game-changer and potentially get back to the state you once struggled with.
Obviously, it just doesn't work on the same playing field with each other, so if you have someone calling the shots in the organization and not only do they bring back the same pieces every season, but they're also willing to run into a financial deficit that they definitely It could hurt them in the long run and it doesn't really change anything with a roster that I really question. what exactly is Doc Rivers doing for the organization and I wouldn't be surprised sooner rather than later if he gets fired now that he's moving on, he wants to be the Houston Rockets and why exactly what are they doing this trade now for most people on Twitter and everywhere else place where they are.
They were reacting to this. I've seen a lot of people jump for joy and claim that the Houston Rockets are now a quote-unquote super team. I'm honestly not trying to be that guy, but I really don't see how this team benefited much from this. I'm sure they got Chris Paul anyway, one of the best point guards in the NBA, like I said before a future hall of famer, Chris Paul, James Harden in the backcourt, with each other and Mike D'Antoni as the head coach. I don't see how it's going to work the way Mike D'Antoni runs the offense he's very picky about picking a roll so we saw James Harden statistically have the best season of his career and a James Harden will continually be the best. all-time point guard or at least dominant ball handler, that means Chris Paul will be on the perimeter just shooting threes and there, so I definitely think that will be misrepresenting and abusing a talented player like Chris Paul, however, I'm willing to give the Houston Rockets decision makers a little bit of wiggle room for this reason and this reason is just Chris Paul at the end of the day because he opted for just one more season, his contract expires, so there's a big chance for the Houston Rockets to move. a few pieces aside and I got returns and the contract is fine, yes he is a very quality player and could potentially add some kind of excitement to the team, but I think they will just use Chris to pause and expire the contract and close. make over $20 million in extras all season long and look for some free agents that are a better fit for the organization, a huge piece they could add to the team and I would love to see where the organization is at.
DeMarcus Cousins โ€‹โ€‹DeMarcus Cousins โ€‹โ€‹610 611 big men who can space the floor so he definitely fits in early on offense, he has an extremely high motor offensively, you can do a little bit of everything and on the defensive end who Were they the carriers? because that's not what Dan is worried about either, not only do you have Marcus' cousin, but also a very good guard? They put them right next to James Harden in the backcourt once Chris Paul leaves, it's Avery Bradley who takes the court and depending on who you've talked to, it's definitely not Chris Broussard, he plays at an elite level .
Defensively he is a totally defensive team player, so you are respected in that sense as well, so there could be a couple more bigger picture moves that the Houston Rockets could make; however, it may take another year for a full CD to happen for us. effect of this original trade, but before we talk specifically about Chris Paul, this idea that Carmelo Anthony or potentially even Paul George will join the team, I just don't see that happening. Carmelo Anthony and Mike D'Antoni have a history together that is not necessarily the best, so I don't really think that works regardless of Chris Paul being playing in Houston and then when it comes to Paul George, although yeah, I think That the combination would work in some ways, the Houston Rockets really don't.
I have no more assets, especially after this trade, to go out and persuade the Indiana Pacers to give them Paul George unless there is a third team involved. However, I highly doubt that has happened, especially this late in the offseason, and it seems like Indiana, especially the Celtics, are really pushing for something to happen in the next three or four days and I highly doubt the Rockets in position can achieve something so quickly, but hey, I could be wrong, but I know what a lot of people are really doing. I'm actually really worried about Chris Paul and why exactly you're doing this, because on almost every level it doesn't make any sense.
Why would Chris Paul only opt for one season? I understand that you have to get this money, that's great. However, at Chris Paul's age, you'd think a 32-year-old point guard only played 60 games in a regular season. You'd think he would be much more attracted to an organization that gave him a more stable contract that gave him four to five years. Instead of jumping for one more season, especially since you don't know exactly what will be available to you next year, another thing I don't understand is why you would go to the Houston Rockets. A lot of people think that Chris Paul is a guy who is willing and determined to make these sacrifices and what he needs to do to win the championship.
The Houston Rockets are just as good as they were last season. Shout out to Mike D'Antoni as head coach, a coach of the year. Shout out to James Harden with a phenomenal season. The entire organization really turned things around last season even with the absence of white Howard, however that team is not competing for a championship, that team is too far away in my opinion and we have other organizations like the Minnesota Timberwolves and potentially other teams as the Boston Celtics are making great efforts to compete in the NBA. Yeah, this move really doesn't make any sense for Chris Paul.
You could have taken some kind of pay cut to go play for the San Antonio Spurs or even the Minnesota Timberwolves, but I see the purpose. We decided to go to the Houston rocket, which again doesn't make any sense. Also, if you look at a technical point of view, in fact, Chris Paul will take the biggest hit in regards to numbers from him and there is a chance for him. He doesn't really care about that and I commend him, however, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Chris Paul takes a big hit in his assists and points because Chris Paul will basically be the guy standing in the corner or maybe coming off some screens. and catch a shot that was really everything - the way he plays basketball again moving forward, but there are very, very good possibilities and I know a lot of people are tired of hearing this, but I will continue to push his narrative because this is the only really logical thing that makes sense at this point, there's a good chance that Chris Paul decided to go for one more season on this contract to receive the most money that went to a state that has no state taxes just so he could receive as much money as possible sooner of D Wade Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James coming together, joining the Banana Boat team and potentially taking pay cuts, obviously, because you have to make things work and find the rest of their careers on the same team with each other with everything said, let me know in the comments section below what you think about this Trey, let me know what you think about Chris Paul, his legacy.
In fact, I'll be sure to put a poll at the top. right corner to make sure you cook for the score and find out and tell me what you think about Chris Paul's legacy and where exactly an all-time greatness lies because moves like this we're definitely going to come back and look at his career and try to find out what exactly I was doing if everything doesn't work, but without saying that, I'll see you all later, peace.
