Heartland: Original Auditions

I directed the pilot and it was believed that we were about three days away from going to camera. You could correct me on that, but we were very close to going to camera and we didn't have a short list, but we didn't have our amber. still, and I remember coming in from a location scout in cold weather and being sure to walk into the office and take a quick look at this laptop, there's a link we want to see and on a little link the size of a postage stamp I was able to observe herself. taped audition that came more or less after the fact and it was one of those things where I prepared and focused for about three minutes, four minutes, maybe five, and I looked up and agreed with the producers who gave me had led to that and I said that was her. and then I heard him like he was calling me hey those photos you sent me don't do you justice you look alike and one says I'm like my dad I never knew what they meant in the pilot we were Looking for a Jack character and thrown into the mix, Michael Weinberg suggested that Sean read the role of Jack and since he had read for Tim, which he was old enough to do, he didn't want to thank you for defending Amy.

I confess that he was not sure that I couldn't do the calculations myself and wondered, I thought, well, let's try it, but I didn't necessarily hold out, they just relied on the physical.
