I think both parents in this house work, they're both very successful in their careers, and they just spend a lot of time with deadlines and work requirements and then activities for their five kids, so things are a little hectic and busy in this house. and I thought that was a really fun idea and I also wanted this family to be quite rich, so the house is very big. spacious, has lots of activities and I also wanted to feel a little more elegant.

I feel like they have some kind of career like that, I think the director. she actually lives on this lot by default if you play this expansion pack, but I imagine if you play the headmistress, she's no longer the headmistress because I don't think that would work as an active career, although it would be cool to go to the high school and playing as the principal, I think I would really enjoy that game, but I guess let me know if it works this way, but I guess if you play the principal then she has no career. so she likes to find him a new career and then a new default sim is placed in her place as high school principal.

When you go to high school, I guess that's how it works, let me know because I don't think she can. In fact, she'll keep her top spot longer, but maybe she can. I'm not exactly sure I haven't played with this expansion pack in addition to building so you guys have to let me know and then for the kids like I was saying there are five kids in the house total two teenagers two sim kids and one kid small and the toddler room is like the most basic toddler room I've ever created I don't even know if I like it I'm a little embarrassed I mean I like it.

I think it looks cute but it's kind of depressing as a little kids room because I chose a white color scheme and I've never done that before and it looks kind of interesting, I think interior design wise I think it's interesting to do something . That's that white, but for a little kids space I think it's a little depressing, you guys will have to let me know that's like the last room I decorated in the house and I was just trying to do something different basically taking a risk and yeah. I was inspired by this decor that I use there, so I'll talk about it when we get to that room and you guys will have to tell me what you think, but it's like I don't know.

I honestly don't think I'll ever do it again because it feels so depressing, but I left it here so you can see what I did and I hope you'll at least appreciate trying to do something different, I guess. because I just did so many toddler rooms in pink, blue, green or yellow and I think I also did purple and I think I even did orange, I don't know, I've just used up all the colors and I feel like it can get a little repetitive sometimes, especially by not using custom content, because with custom content there is a lot more variety and with the Sims 4, when it comes to kids items, there just isn't much, especially for toddler rooms and nurseries.

I hope we at least have a kit at some point that has a toddler theme. I think it would be nice to have a nursery kit with a new bassinet, like a more realistic looking bassinet, although toddlers don't sleep in them, they sleep in toddlers. beds, but a new bassinet for real babies would be really nice and then like artwork and different stuffed animals and things that would be cute to put in a nursery or a toddler room would be great so yeah , anyway, for the children in this house. I was thinking that they are twins and that they both really like science, they really like math, engineering, science and I just don't know all those science-related subjects, one more than the other, I think.

One is much more focused on studying chemistry and is like the little brainiac of the house and they really like science in general and they like to join the science fair at school and do different science. projects and stuff, and then their twin is really into computer science, but they really like games and they have a really fancy computer that I figured they'd like to basically ask their parents for because you know I'm in the mood These kids They have a little bit more expensive taste when it comes to buying or ordering Christmas gifts and stuff, but parents are very responsible parents and they don't want to just go out and buy their kids all the expensive things that they know, they want.

So the kid said, "I really want this, I really want this," and they said okay, can you do some jobs like mow the lawn or do paper deliveries or something like that? So they saw that their son liked to work very hard to save up for this very expensive computer and then I figure that the boy could only go so far with the income they made doing those types of jobs, so the parents just gave them the rest of the money and um and I got them the computer they wanted so they even do something like streaming and playing games online, they have a little bit of a following, not a lot, because they're still like kids and the parents probably monitor their online activity quite a bit. , but I still have some followers and maybe when they get a little older, maybe from a teenager to a young adult, they'll really make a career out of it or something, so I thought it was fun and I think it's kind.

It's interesting because I play video games as a career, I play the Sims and I have this channel. I don't do that many real Sims that like video games. I've done some as children's rooms, generally as players, but. There is no one who does it for a career. I think I've done one or two apartments before. I really should do more. If you have any ideas for that, definitely let me know and then for the teenagers, so I think there are two teenagers in this. House and I were thinking that they are complete opposites of each other, so I imagine that one of them is very feminine, very focused on fashion and appearances, being popular and being liked, and basically having social status at school. , etc.

They have a reputation to uphold and they are very concerned about what people think of them and I was being inspired by mean girls, I don't mean any of them specifically, but I think they just aren't as nice as them. I'll give someone a compliment without really meaning it and I just don't understand why I feel like that's so bad, but if you guys have seen mean girls then you definitely know what I'm talking about so I was just kind of thinking about that type of character. and then for his brother, the other teenager, I think that teenager is much more down to earth, he likes nature and photography and he likes to travel, and I've already done some teenagers like this, but I think it's just because that's how I was when I was a teenager, I really wanted to travel, I was much more of a hippie teenager and yeah, I don't know, I wanted to go backpacking.

Europe, so whenever I create these kinds of rooms for teenagers, I imagine that they want to go backpacking in Windenburg or live on the beach in Soulani or something, so I really like that idea. I definitely didn't do any of that when I graduated high school, moved in with some roommates, had a job, went to college for a while, but I didn't actually start going to college until I was 22, so There were a few years where I just did random things and I definitely didn't have enough money to travel around Europe and I definitely don't even think I was mature enough to organize something like that.

I don't think I could have put it together. I've been in Europe since then. and I just love it, I wish I could go there all the time, it's amazing, but anyway, yeah, I really like that idea for a teenager and I was thinking they're a little more earthy and kind. They don't really care as much about appearances and what people think of them as their siblings, because I mean, that's pretty much what caring for their siblings is all about, so they're very different in that way, so I thought it was funny. . and I really liked having all the different personalities represented in a family and yes, you guys have to let me know what you think about the parents.

I don't know, I feel like parents depend so much on the families you have. You already have them and maybe you just haven't had children yet, so you think you could use ideas like my stories for your future children in the house or you could create a family to live in this house, you will have to let me know what you do or what's your approach when downloading builds from the gallery, but anyway here you can see I've put the whole house together. I guess it's a craftsman style house I guess you would call it and I really enjoyed it because I don't do a lot of houses that specifically have a craftsman look and I just tried to use a lot of things like dogs and cats and seasons to give is that look and then here I am working on landscaping for landscaping. Recently I've been really into using bushes, which I think is kind of silly, but I feel like I haven't used bushes enough. in the game and I feel like it makes the landscape look much more realistic.

I also incorporated some flowers, um, but it's mostly just bushes and greenery, and forgive me if you guys don't like to see the shadow as well, it's kind of like that. It's actually hard to build in this world because the shadows are so heavy and I've even watched other people's

s increase and I like to squint to see what they're doing on the screen. I can't really see why the shadows are so strong and I don't know, I'm a little torn, what do you guys think about the shadows in this world? Because part of me likes it because it feels a little more moody and mysterious and just adds a different atmosphere to the world, but then for the

settings, it's really very dark and difficult to record here and it's hard to see speed settings, so you guys will have to tell me what you think about it and if you have the same. thoughts like me or different thoughts, but um, yeah, I don't know, I just don't know how often I'm going to build in this world because of that, but I want to build more here because I like the style of it, but the shadows are so strong, so I'm hoping maybe they fit like the lighting path in the world because I think that's what it does, it's like during midday, the shadows are so strong because the sun is directly overhead in the game, etc. maybe it's that and then part of it has to do with the enlightenment of the world.

I don't know, I have no idea about how to develop games or createilluminations to the world, so I don't really have anything I can say about that, but I'm just wondering, anyway, here in the backyard there's a swing, there's a sandbox, which I thought was really fun and I added a couple of activities there, like a doll house and building.block table there is also an outdoor dining table a barbecue there is a pool the pool is not very big but I want to have a pool in this world which I probably won't It gets really hot, I feel like this would be more of a world with a cooler climate because of all the evergreens and stuff, um, I think you'd probably need a heated pool, so it would be a little expensive and pretty luxurious I think I have to have a pool in this world, so I thought it was pretty nice and then I also put in something like um, it's like a gazebo, the glass structure, technically it's not a greenhouse because it doesn't have walls, but I put in some planters and those things there and then I also used a horseshoe pit on the left side of the building and I thought it was really funny because I can't remember the last time I used that item.

I think it must have been like the last time I built in Granite Falls, I think so. I don't know, I saw it in the catalog and I thought I'd put it in and I had to squeeze it in there because I didn't really have room to put it in, but I think it actually works pretty well in there and it just adds another activity and yeah, that was something I really wanted for this one. build, it was just having a lot of activities and things for your

sims

to do because it's a very big build and I really wanted it to feel a little bit more, so I think that adds something to it and I really like this little garden area here.

I think it's very pretty and of course if you wanted it to be a real greenhouse, you could grow the plants all year round, you could just close it up and make it look like a greenhouse with a glass roof and modern windows on all sides, but I I liked its open appearance. I thought it was pretty fun and it's a little different to some of the greenhouses I've created. at one time and then here, I'm just copying the same plants that I used in the backyard into the front yard, so the same flowers that I've been completely obsessed with since cabin life came about, using those flowers as the pink and these yellowish.

The orange flowers that come in that expansion pack are very pretty and I like the texture of them and feel like they work like any build. You should let me know if you agree, but I can't stop using them as in all versions. Just a single build I do and then here I'm just adding some decorations like the garden hose and a couple of these planters with live edit objects just to add more details and make it feel a little bit more complete. decorated and just mixed things up trying to figure out how I wanted to place them.

I felt like having too many of those plants looked a little messy and crowded and took away from the look that I wanted this build to have, but I think having one of them worked and then a little chair and stuff like that and then here I go with the bushes and the flowers and I also really liked how I used this low fence around the front of the house. I thought it looked so nice and so suburban-like and something else about this world that I noticed there's only two lots that have like an actual driveway leading to it, there's this one and then there's the one that's like the very lot. small in the same area of ​​the world and then the rest of them are surrounded by greenery except the areas on the docks or it's not a dock it's like a wooden platform in the downtown area so I guess technically It's not a dock, but I want to call it a dock because of the wooden platform, uh, but that area is cool too.

I like it so I need to build in the other neighborhood because I haven't built there yet and that's largely due to the dirt lots I really like when I drive around like there's a place to make a driveway so I can make it look like more suburban, but I guess I build a lot of those so I should probably try doing something different. Anyway, here I am. Moving on to the interior of the house, the floor plan of this house actually turned out quite well. In fact, I really like the plan. I thought something was going to be a little awkward, but once I added all the decorations, I think it actually even works as the kitchen area, I felt like its shape is quite strange, you guys will have to tell me what you think about it, but I think I made it work and I feel like it's nice and cozy and there's like a breakfast. table there, so I really like that, but the house ends up having every area you can imagine, there's the living room of course, the dining room, the kitchen, the kitchen has a little breakfast nook, there's also a living room laundry room and I think that's the downstairs bathroom too, no there's another bathroom down the hall, I almost forgot and then there's an office space or it's like an extra room, it's like an office, kind of a games room and I opened it to the hallway.

I was going to close it but it's more like an open family area and then the parents bedroom is downstairs like a full ensuite bathroom and a large bedroom and then all the kids bedrooms are upstairs with their bathroom up there too, here I am decorating . the living room and something I've been doing recently is using the little pillow that came from the small campers kit and rotating it using the tools mod and placing it on these couches specifically. I should probably try them on other couches, but this looks like they're really cute and these are like the most realistic looking couches that we have in the game and I really like the more comfortable ones.

I mean, some of the other couches look comfortable like the ones that came from cats and dogs and parenthood and even the ones that came. from this expansion pack, but these look more like a regular couch and I wish we got more samples because their base game couch I think we've had this couch since launch, but you have to unlock it through a race. I'm not exactly sure what race it is so if you don't play with any cheats your Sims will have to unlock it that way and then there are only three swatches, there's this one which is a nice neutral beige color that you can use as In almost any interior, there is an orange one and then a green one, which I really like, but it is a little more difficult to use, like in all interiors, so yes, it would be good if we had more variety and more textures too.

If we had some more linen-like textures, I think that would be great. Don't know. I would really like to see more of this couch because I think it is the best couch we have in the game. although it doesn't have cushions, but now that we have the small camper pillows, we can add them, but there are no neutral swatches on them, or they have these with a leaf like design or there is one with stars and then there is another one. with Bigfoot and little mountains and things that are super cute and then there are some space ones too, but they are definitely a lot harder to use the more prints and things they have in different interiors, but I think this one is green.

It actually worked really well here and kind of boosted the whole color scheme for the entire build. I tried to use some of this green color but it's mostly other shades of green and I like turquoise colors more and other than that it's more like grays and neutral colors like creams and browns and some blacks, I don't know, I was for everywhere, I feel like with the color scheme of this build, but I think that somehow it all comes together and feels cohesive in the end, I don't know that at least that's how I felt when I finished decorating it.

I felt like it all somehow worked together, so you guys will have to let me know if you agree, but that's it for the living room. I feel like that room is very nice. and cozy and then here's the entrance, the entrance to the building is quite large, it's a quite grand entrance and it has the staircase, of course, that leads to the bedrooms, but here I just put a mess in the entrance, like a coat rack, a shoemaker it reflects some like clutter like the backpack and things like that. I also put the paternity board here too.

I definitely think parents try to set curfews and keep up with what their kids are doing, but they work a lot, they're really busy, and they don't really have time to make sure their kids are home at every hour they're supposed to. be or at every event that they're supposed to be at, so I think they probably have a babysitter or Someone who comes and helps them accomplish that, they definitely need some help because they're just busy, basically, um, but yeah, here will be the dining room. I really wanted to use these chairs that came from the stations.

When I was thinking about how I wanted to decorate this house, these were the first chairs I thought of so I put them up right away and I think they look great here and I haven't used them, it feels like a long time. and they are such beautiful chairs, they are like I don't know such a pretty design and I really like their seat as they are more like wicker material, I think it's super cute and then here I am. decorate this hutch and I'm forgetting the name of the game pack it came with, it's going to drive me crazy, but I'm sure you guys know which one, um, that that gold silver one came with, um, but anyway, I think it looks great. cute and it was a great place to add some clutter and then I added some other decorations and then here will be the kitchen and I'm using the counters and cabinets from the same play pack and I really like them Here I like it better, I don't know what kind of brown you would call it, it has a touch of grey, it's like a grayish brown color, but it's really nice and I felt like it looked really good. this build and it matched some of the other browns I was using but it didn't make it feel too brown because it's not exactly the same brown and here I'm just choosing a stove and a refrigerator, the stove came from my dream house. decorator, so I used the countertop version and the stovetop version and I've noticed a couple of times when they overlap them like that because technically I don't think you're supposed to be able to put both on the same counter because I think if you don't have Moving objects in the game will not allow you to place them on it and sometimes I have noticed that the counter itself will appear in the place where the stove door is, but I think it still works so you have to let me know because I have done it several times and I hope it still works.

Hopefully they don't have to change anything to make it work, but yeah, I really wanted to. to be a breakfast table since there was a space to do it, so here I created a kind of bench to sit at the base of the window and I use some more of these pillows again rotating them using the mod tool and if you guys are ever interested in downloading the tool mod and I highly recommend it. I use the best one to build and buy one but they have so many others that I haven't even started to get into so there are a lot out there and I can recommend these because they are great and have really made building so much better for me so which I can't praise them enough, but anyway, here I was just trying to make him feel or look comfortable and rotate the pillows and just try to make them look comfortable. a little more like a natural location and not so perfectly located and a little more comfortable. I really wanted this to feel like a place that the family uses much more often, as I can imagine the kids sitting here and working on homework. or you know, finishing projects and stuff, so I put a little more clutter in here just trying to show that they use this area a little more just for day to day life, like school work and different types of things that kids might do.

I'm doing and then here along this wall, you might notice that there is a room on the other side and there is no door leading to it, so here, after finishing decorating the area, I realize and decide to place a door, so I just had to move things around a bit and move them around a bit to make room for the door and I played around testing it to make sure the sim could actually get through the door and get in. that area that will be the laundry room and like a half bathroom so there's a bathroom here there's also one behind the living room in that hallway so there's two family bathrooms basically downstairs but this is also a laundry room and like this Yeah, here I'm just choosing different decorations to put on this side table and I really like this side table and the shelf on top of it, they look so cute and I really like how the shelf has those glasses hanging from them, I feel like that's what a nice touch and then here next to this door I'm hanging a couple of kitchen robes and then a broom to add some normal decorations that you would probably have in a kitchen and then just putting some essential items like a coffee maker, a microwave and a canister of garbage and recently I made aGame mechanics, uh, I don't know, uh.

I didn't really think too much about it, but it's something I thought about, but here I put another dresser because this sim really likes clothes, he has a lot of them, so they need another space on the dresser to fit all their clothes because they have a lot of them. and then I also used this desk that came from this expansion pack and I really like that desk and this one because it has so many little like stickers and like um I think it has like a little bulletin board in the back and different little things that add a lot of personality and extra details in a room, um, but yes, here it will be other teenagers' room, so this teenager they are much more into photography and traveling and they are more of a hippie teenager and they are down to earth a little bit more and they like to go out with their friends and probably even do things alone.

I don't think they're technically necessarily loners, but they don't mind being alone, they're a lot more grounded and a little more mature than their brother, so I think it's nice to have people like Polar. opposites, it would be a lot of fun for the game to play with someone so different from the other and I think there is a lot of variety in this house, so that made me very happy, but yeah, I think this teenager really likes the color blue. and orange, I was basically inspired by this bed sample because the bed is very pretty and vibrant, so I tried to find other objects to match, but I didn't want it to look too matchy because I still want it to feel like a teenager's room and not too much like she was armed.

I just wanted it to feel a little more like a normal teenage room, so I think it gave it that look that still showed that maybe this teenager has a favorite color or something. but yeah, here I added some of these photographs that your Sims can take if you have the Island Living expansion pack, so I thought this Sim definitely likes photography and has been to Sulani maybe a couple of times over a summer. vacation or something and they've taken these pictures themselves and they dream of moving there and living in a cool beach house and being like an underwater photographer or something.

I think it's a nice dream that this A teenager could have done and, hopefully, he will achieve his goals and his dreams. I think that would be great, but sometimes you know things happen and life takes you in a different direction, which is also totally possible, so I think there are a lot of different options if you guys decide. to play with this particular family I had in mind, but yeah, here I was just trying to show a little more personality by adding some clutter and different decorations on top of the dresser, I also added tons of signs around it and there are so many.

Great items that came with the high school years package to add these types of posters, as many of them resemble this particular style of teen room. I feel like there weren't that many for super girly teens. Actually, I've been kind. having had problems with that particular style, there isn't much sporty stuff either, there are a couple of sporty samples, but not that much, it's all very simple, I mean, not everything, but there are a lot of tapestries and types. of more bohemian things which I guess are pretty popular right now, it's definitely a style that I definitely like and have liked since I was a teenager, but I don't know that now that I've been decorating more teenage rooms.

I feel like there could have been a little more variety, let me know if you agree, but anyway, here will be the toddler room and like I said it's the most depressing toddler room I've ever created, it's very white , but I placed this bed and then placed this object that came. I'm not exactly sure what package it came from, but we got it recently. I think maybe it even came in an update. No, I feel like not. I'm not sure if I don't remember, let me know what package this dye came from, but I narrowed it down and it came in this black and white swatch, so I decided to go with it and create a black and white toddler room.

It's mostly white. I think it's interesting though, it was fun to decorate this way, but for a toddler space I feel like they need to be a lot more colorful and at least I don't know if I like another neutral room that was maybe a little more brown. It would be more interesting, but all the white felt a little depressing.
