Hi kids, I'm Abby and of course I have a

story

for you today. I want to share with you a book that my librarian read to me when I was a kid in school and it's called Where the Wild Things Are and it's written and illustrated by Maurice Sendik. and Maurice Suntec actually won an award called a cow to cop medal for having the best images in this book, so I hope you enjoy all the imagination in Where the Wild Things Are. Max was his wolf costume and got into pranks of one kind and another. Why, his mother called him Wild Thing and Max said I'll eat you, so they sent him to bed without eating anything and that same night in Max's room a forest grew and grew until vines hung from the ceiling and the walls became in the world. around and an ocean passed with a private boat for Max and he sailed through the night and the day and in and out for weeks and almost over a year to use Wild Things Are and when he reached the place

and now he was crying Max let the wild rampage begin Ed he's the king now stop sending the wild

things

to bed without their dinner Max the king of all the wild animals Lonely things and he wanted to be

someone loved him most of all, then from far away across the world he smelled good things to eat, so he stopped being the king of Where the Wild Things Are, but the monsters cried Oh, please, no.
