Never Have I Ever… used Lunar Paste! But I'm giving it a go (and making two cute cards!)

Mar 19, 2024
white on our sentiment strips there is no ink, there the ink is black and they are printed with the toner inks you can. frustrate them too, so I'm letting them know mountains of messes here, okay, I'm going to take a little strip here, I'm down to my last Darice strips, which I really need to figure out because I want to

have

more. of these, so I might

have

to include them in my next order, well I guess that's okay, no, you know what to spoil the kid, make sure you have the right amount of adhesive, that's not really a saying, but now I have a small dimension. center and we'll go ahead and finish this card, so now I'm going to remove the backings.

I'm going to get some liquid glue for this. Oh my gosh, there's so much glue here. Something happened, something happened. I'm going to take some of my Gina K designs, attach glue, just put a couple of little Dobbs in here to give myself a little bit more wiggle room and I think all I'm going to do is place this down here. I like The Off Center. It also covers some of the jumpsuit, but I think the jumpsuit is fine, it looks better that way. I mean, I know I was kinda laughing at my, you know, my ability, but I think I'll get better at this.

More Interesting Facts About,

never have i ever used lunar paste but i m giving it a go and making two cute cards...

I believe i do it. improve on this, this would be a beautiful sympathy card, look at that dimension, oh that's really pretty, if I wanted to I could take my little creative detail and erase some of what

ever

, but I think I'll leave it and I don't think I'll go to put nothing else on this card. I like this the way it is so we finish card number one and as soon as my first layer is completely dry on the other stencil we're going to add our berries and then I finish that card so now they're dry to the touch and I would say I left it dry about 45 minutes.

I think I was a little hard on her, so what I'm going to do now is make sure I'm reading. Put the stencil back right side up and we're going to do this so we can add bright berries. I'm going to have to mask a little bit of leaves, okay, so let's get back to our game, which I think is going to be a really nice warm color, it's kind of fancy here a little bit. I don't think I need much, so I want to be careful here too that I don't get anything on the green, we'll see.

I think that's going to happen. it'll be okay, let's actually use the left stroke here, like this, I'm just taking a very small amount here, like this, okay, scraping, I'm probably using more than you need, but okay, again, you can scrape it right and put it back in the package, this won't pick up anything at all and we're going to do guys here and here nice and soft, okay, close this and let's remove the tape like this, lift up again, lift up and that's it. we have a little bit, I have a little bit there, we have little berries and now I'm going to let this dry as well before I cut it out for our card panel.
I'm going to go clean this up, so now my piece is dry, now look. That cool piece of leaf, right, you get a little bit of shine, a little bit flat. I think this is really, really cool and it's dry, it's got a little bit of gunk in there, but I'm not too worried about it off camera. I went ahead while this dried and cut it off. I myself, a little stacked Merry die, some dimensions here, put it on the shadow layer and it's just going to be a Merry Christmas. Now I want to show you that this is why I like to have a big gap before I cut it. down because I like to know that generally speaking you know where the pieces are going to be so let me grab my paper cutter so sometimes I want to have a general location so I can figure out how big to cut this.
I want to run this through the die cutting machine with one of my dies because I feel like you might know I might, well, I might mess this up, so I'm going to go here, just slide this in for now and I'll just leave if one more thing happens, my handle just flew out. I think I'm going to close the store and leave the country. Okay, so we have this here and actually, you know what? Because it's supposed to be no, no, no, then. Now I'm going to come here and I'm going to cut it to four inches.
Okay, now we have a panel. I still have a little shine. We still have some goodness. But what we're going to have to do is figure it out. where the top and bottom are now, I think I'm going to cut this out, let's see where the template line is, right there, okay, then we go up and it's going to be five inches, so you know what we might have to take a little bit more off the below because I don't necessarily do it right, I'm actually going to cut it right into a berry, how about this is where I think it's fun.
Normally I prefer to use die cuts to do this because then there's no guesswork, but here, right? because we have, oh, we have four, wait here, we're going four by five and a quarter, okay, I think that's going to be our size, okay, let's see, I think it's good, you know what though, check it out. We just see you appear here and here with that being up and that being there. I think the scope of this template stopped there so you know what it has to be, it has to go in more, so instead we go to five and we cut and we go to three and three quarters so we go to four and again I'm preserving this outside although that's fine I want to go in like this it's not fine let's imagine oh look it takes time I'm telling you okay here we go and even though that leaf got cut a little bit off the template it's totally fine that's going to be our card panel.
I have foam tape here on the back with my little one. with my little twist, I remember we start with mistakes, we're

making

all kinds of them, but you know, that's okay. Now I'm going to see if I can place this on the panel and what we're going to do. Do I have some foam squares on the back of this? These are actually thin foam squares because I didn't really want this to have a lot of dimensions, but I did want it to come away from the piece a little bit, so we're just removing the little sponsors here and I think I'll put a little bit of liquid glue here so as not to spoil it at this point, so we'll put a little bit of realism into each one and we'll be.
I'm going to Nestle right here and I'm not going to tip it. I really want it to sit nice and straight in that open area. Oh, it's very nice. I just cut a foam square in half for this one because I thought it had a good dimension again, a little bit of liquid, I think that's enough to hold it and we're just going to place this right here under there like it was meant to be a little strip of sentiment fitted in and a little Merry Christmas now. You can see that not only do we have glitter on the greeting, but look at the glitter on the berries.
I think that's really cool and I don't think I'm going to put anything else in because sometimes when I use a medium that has the shimmer in it and you can see that look, it's cool, it gives me layers of texture and dimension by having that shimmery part on the ink part of the dye, oh, that's my two

cards

carding a little bit to try to get it to stay fancy there. you say, you know little fragments of moon

paste

. I think it's a great product and I hope this reminds you that when you start something new you don't necessarily know

ever

ything you're doing, so you just know.
Play, have fun, see what you think and remember, you get better. I don't like that you get better every time you play with a new product, so take another look at this little fella. I've got a little bit of a glitch, right there. I zoom in so you can see that, see that little thing there, I mean, it got a little blurred, no big deal, no big deal, it's totally fine live and learning in the end, it was fun to play with this now. I have the jars open, time to get busy and do more fun things with the moon

paste

.
