Jackie Webb and his group were among the thousands watching when the attacks began at 2:49 pm on April 15, 2013. Near the finish line of the Boston Marathon we were waiting for our friend to run. We drove by and heard the first explosion and obviously we, like everyone else, looked up Boylston Street and you saw what was a mushroom cloud.
