is audi's first mid-size suv and it is based on the same undersides as cars like the vw id4 and skoda enyak which is a pretty good base of course it looks completely different it has that audi style, it looks very solid and smart, it's always a word i like to use for audi. You know this car isn't trying to be anything other than a pretty distinctive electric Audi and I think it's all the

for it, the main feature is of course the textured grille section which is huge, there are some real cooling vents underneath I think it's stylish and understated and I really like the full width light. bars, I know a lot of cars have them, but I think they look great overall, it's attractive and sensible, it may not be a car I look at, but I like it, but could I really know that I love it?

I'm not sure that audi q4 e -tron isn't so conservative that it's a bit boring, which isn't something you can say about this kia ev6 ta-da now we may have used the kiri v6 a bit more since It was released because I've seen a few on the roads, but I think it still looks particularly striking. It's a little larger than it appears at first glance if you've only seen it in photos, but it's still a five-seat midsize hatchback. It has a large, slightly frowning face that blends completely into a coupe-like body type. It has a large light bar at the rear. which curves down and looks really interesting and then there are little ears sticking out of the spoiler, everything screams new and fresh and even in this sober color with slightly smaller wheels it makes the audi look a little scruffy, in fact I think That your Q4 E-tron actually looks like almost any other Audi SUV, but what are Audis particularly good at? That's right, the interiors are incredible, aren't they, interiors that make you feel special when you sit inside them and the Q4 doesn't change that.
So you have this angular dashboard with the usual big touchscreen in the center and it's complemented by all these sharp looking shapes in the rest of the interior, with different materials. I love the shape of the steering wheel and how it reflects that. The second screen right behind it is very well thought out, so you've got physical buttons down here for the climate control, which again I really like, you can operate the audio from down here and then you've got this neat little gear selector. I don't like that and there aren't really many things that irritate me about this interior, it's the piano black which is more of a style thing, honestly I know they look lovely when they're really shiny and polished but I don't clean my car every day, I probably don't clean it every month if I'm really honest, and this is constantly covered in fingerprints, which bothers me a little, the other thing I've noticed and I've been living with this car for a while is which sometimes just doesn't adapt to Apple Carplay as quickly as I would like, it can be a bit glitchy, just temperamental and that irritates me a bit, but other than that, every time.
I walk in here and feel calm and relaxed and to me that's what a good car interior should do. There is a lot of space in the back here and it is comfortable for people who are much taller than me and I can confirm that. Three adults can easily fit in here, I know because I've tested it and the trunk is big enough to carry a huge tent, chairs and the rest of my camping equipment. It's always good to be prepared, isn't it? The Kia does have it. A 480 liter boot, so it's a little smaller than the Audi, although it's a decent shape and has a relatively low loading lip, which counts for a lot.
I also have a secret weapon as the ev6 has a frunk which the audi doesn't and that frunk weighs 52 liters so technically the ev6 has more storage space than the audi although it is split between the front and rear of the car, even so I count that as a victory there is also more space in the rear seats than the Audi, although the floor feels a little higher, so it pushes my knees up, well, it works for me anyway and when When you get here, it's almost all good news. Ginny may be really impressed with the designer feel of the Audi, but I don't think the Kia feels abandoned at all.
You get this great bench with two 12.3-inch screens. This side is a large floating center console with touch screen and gear selector. It feels like it's in the space age. This is not an old school type of manufacturer. trying to reinvent your normal interior this is a clean sheet design so basically on the steering wheel you have some buttons you have shifters like a normal car and then a touch screen and then this bar under which you can change what it actually is . is displayed on it, so in this mode you have all the air conditioning controls, you press this button and then you get all the different controls for things like the radio, the satnav, all that kind of stuff in the central spa, you have a wireless system. charging pad, you have a couple of cup holders and then this very deep center console covered slot down here and then all this space down here with more charging both USBC and standard USB.
The good thing about this car is that it feels like it's a bit warmer and more fun than the audi, it also has a lot more kit as standard than the audi sport which makes it slightly impressive now, obviously the kit you get depends of the model you choose, but if you get confused, please log in. Visit electrifying.com and we'll help you review the spec sheets, although I find this car to be actually quite relaxing, the seats are cloth but made from recycled materials so it feels like it's working well. job of being quite green and everything feels very well put together, it's not as beautiful as the Audi but it's certainly no slouch, but suffice it to say that both cars have all the usual creature comforts and more than their fair share. assistance systems in terms of range and charging, this is a mid-range Q4 E-Tron 40.
It has a 77.6 kilowatt hour battery with a possible range of 320 miles official wltp range now that I have been using this car for a while. and what I'm getting is about 280 miles, which I think is pretty good. I drive it on a mix of roads, do quite a bit of motorway driving and have done some long trips to Cornwall with me overall it copes well and I am very happy with its efficiency. It has 11 kilowatts AC charging, which is fine, and 135 kilowatts DC charging, which should deliver fast charging from 10 to 80 in just over half an hour.
It's pretty much what you'd expect from this type of car. In this kind of price range it's not surprising, but it's not bad, not exactly cutting edge. I would like to see more powerful charging options and what is supposed to be a cutting edge audi. Yes, I would, but it's good enough for now. Oh, and the charging port. it's right here exactly where the gas cap might be so that's all very standard and familiar the ev6 has a charging port here on the right rear of the car and that's the only standard thing about the way the ev6 it drinks electricity because this is really good at the charging stuff, this is a long range rear drive ev6 and it has a 74 kilowatt hour battery a little smaller than the q4 but it manages a little more range probably due to aerodynamic gains and additional efficiency, and logs 328 miles and up. the wltp cycle is a good set of numbers because we should really stop judging cars by their absolute range and focus more on how efficient they are, then there's the fact that the ev6 has an 800 volt charging system which is normally found on much more expensive products.
Basically, cars are more efficient than the usual 400 volts, they don't get as hot and can therefore charge faster. The ev6 can charge at about 233 kilowatts if you have a large enough fast charger, if you can find one that is 10 to 80 inches. Only 18 minutes, it's almost 50 percent faster than the Q4, there's also similar AC kilowatt charging as the Audi, which is nice, but I think I beat this one not as fast. You know, I said the Audi is well put together, that impression remains when you get inside because it is a very, very refined car to drive.
You know even the windshield wipers are quiet, and usually when a car is as refined and insulated as this one, you'll hear some squeaks in the finish or suspension or, of course, road noise. but not here, it's actually very impressive and makes driving very relaxing, so as the actual driving grows it all looks very adult, it's not very fun, but that's not what you're looking for with a car like this. What the Q4 E-tron does have is plenty of grip, a really nice ride and the steering is pretty good too. Now this is the etron 40 which means you have a single 201 horsepower brake motor in the rear driving the wheels, now you can get the utron. 50 with the same battery you get an extra motor a little more power.
Actually, I'm not sure it's worth it because I think this is enough speed. The naughty 62 lasts about eight and a half seconds and that makes it agile but not dumb, so when I'm driving in each mode I mainly use b mode which gives me maximum regeneration, which again I really like and can discover that I can drive most of the time without touching the brake pedal much. I just get some satisfaction from knowing it. that energy returns to the battery, even if it's just a little bit. One thing I really love is the shape of the steering wheel, so I mentioned how it looks before, but I like how it feels with its leather mix. and steel and is not too big or cumbersome.
All in all, I think the Q4 etron holds up very well in race driving. It won't blow you away, but it definitely offers a quiet and relaxing driving experience and, to be honest, that's more important. For me nowadays it obviously depends on what you want from a car but I think the ev6 drives much

better

than the audi and I think I can prove it with math. This is a rear wheel drive long range ev6 so like the Audi it only has one motor in the rear driving the rear wheels but it has a little more power with 226 brake horsepower and is more 100 kilograms lighter than the German car, so, unsurprisingly, it's quite a bit quicker from 0 to 62 miles. an hour takes just 7.3 seconds and that's enough to make you feel like you know considerably faster, but more than that, it just feels a little more, the only word I can think of is dizzying, you're happier to be driven a little faster and then it's more. fun when you do it but has a very good range of skills, drives very well, very happy and quiet when cruising, not as solid feeling as the audi on the move, don't think it's as quiet as the audi but It's pretty quiet and it's also a little more involving and that counts for a lot when I drive my own cars, it's not as solid a feeling as the Audi on the move, it's a little louder but it's definitely more involving and from where I'm sitting, that counts for a lot, it also has very good brake regeneration like all the manipulators and I think that is one of its best features, so basically you can increase the brake regeneration with this paddle on the left side behind the steering wheel, watch it decelerate and then you can turn it off again with this paddle on the right, it's called ipedal, it works very, very well, you shift down when you approach an intersection or aroundabout and then you can shift up again, you're not actually shifting gears. but it does alter the way the car brakes and then moves away.
I tend to run off the vehicle on a highway and then use much stronger brake regeneration around town. The thing is I think part of the fun comes from the fact that the ev6 feels a lot lower than the high driving audi and has better reactions because of that and again if you wanted to go faster there are more powerful versions of the ev6 and they also have a front mounted motor to provide four wheel drive, but you know what? when I'm going around I don't really need that much more horsepower, this isn't a sports car, although the big four wheel drive ones feel a lot more exciting if this were my commute vehicle I wouldn't need them like a ton more horsepower because if you go around all the time they will arrest you and put you in prison and I wouldn't do well in prison because I'm too pretty.
You really like the CV6, don't you? I like it because it is a very rounded car. It's not a rounded car at all. It has a very nice angle. You know exactly what I mean. It's a I'll tell you one thing and I'm going to do something else, I'm going to shoehorn in the fact that that Kia has Kia's brilliant seven year warranty, which is a little longer than the Audi, and the fact that the better it gets.
