Why Fighting Bendy's Final Boss as Demon Bendy is a Bad Idea (Bendy and the Dark Revival Hacking)

Mar 20, 2024
In the

final

chapter of Bendy and the Dark Revival, Wilson's ultimate creation comes face to face with Audrey. When things start to get really bleak for Audrey, the Ink Demon shows up to save the day... Or rather, evil quells evil. But what if Ink Demon showed up in the fight earlier? How would the game react if we forced Ink Demon Bendy to join the fight? What if the Ink Demon lost? Well, here at HorrorScoped we do weird stuff like that, so if breaking games is your thing, subscribe now to see all our crazy videos. Now before I add Bendy to this fight, let me do a quick recap.

Because we'll be covering the

final

boss

encounter, but also the final race that happens after this. When the player enters the room, they must first flip a switch in the center. Soon after, Shipahoy Wilson emerges from the

dark

depths. This crazy pirate is a fusion between Wilson, his drawing of Shipahoy Dudley and a crab. Audrey is attacked several times by the anchor and then the fight begins. During the first phase, the player must turn off four generators throughout the room. To do that, Shipahoy Wilson must be lured so that his anchor attack destroys the panels. Once exposed, we must load our Gent Pipe in the back and then turn off the machines.

More Interesting Facts About,

why fighting bendy s final boss as demon bendy is a bad idea bendy and the dark revival hacking...

Shipahoy Wilson will throw us his anchor but also his gears, and after a certain number of generators are turned off, the Lost will invade the map. After we clear this section, Shipahoy Wilson will start chasing us with grappling attacks. Audrey must evade them and wait until they fall from the force of her own anchor. At this point we can hit Wilson's face and after several hits we can banish Wilson. This is when Ink Demon comes in and finishes the job. Now that we're all on the same page, let's turn back time... and have Bendy join the fight.

So the final chase segment when Audrey fuses with the Ink Demon actually happens right outside the

boss

fight room. So the first thing I have to do is make a hole in the wall so I can access the Ink Demon on the other side, so a hole is made and now I can walk through it and that's when I activate Bendy from the end . sequence. However, Bendy is a very big boy and won't fit through the hole he made, so I have to shrink Bendy down to a tiny boy so he can fit through the hole.

And now that Bendy is done, you'll notice that both Bendy and Audrey are responding to inputs from my controller, and by looking at the screen you can tell that things are definitely a little off. So you have Audrey walking, you have the Ink Demon walking and then you have the first person view of Audrey holding the pipe as if she is floating in the sky. This is because Audrey's first-person camera holding the pipe is actually applied to the active camera screen. So all of these things are wrong right now, but I'll fix them in a moment.
So there's also another problem in this situation: on the one hand, it's a bit tricky to get both characters to walk where they need to go, but there's also a game logic problem. If Ink Demon Bendy is active like this, that means that all the objects that can be interacted with, like any kind of switches and things like that, don't work, so we can't activate the switch that triggers the fight, so I have to restart. So this time I pull the lever and start the cutscene, and THEN I call out to the big guy, and immediately shocked, I realized that Ink Demon Bendy can actually take damage from this boss.
But seeing these two face off is really cool, they're both two similar sized monsters and they just stare each other in the face, and if you think about it, Ship Ahoy Wilson as a package was made to defeat the Ink Demon once and for all, for which this looks like an alternate timeline. So Ship Ahoy Wilson's attacks do not stun the Ink Demon, however Bendy still takes damage. Turns out he doesn't even flinch! In this case, one on one, Ink Demon can't really do much and this is because Ship Ahoy Wilson can't be hurt by physical damage in this phase, and Ink Demon can't interact with switches, so once again we are in that strange soft lockdown situation.
So I just sit here and keep taking damage hoping to actually die like the Ink Demon, and finally I do, and this death is actually my salvation because this death causes Audrey to respawn, and with her respawn it's Now Two against one. With Audrey I can run around and deactivate the generators, although there is a problem because after each generator is turned off, the player switches from Audrey to the

demon

once again. And this prolongs the fight and causes him to have to die again with the

demon

, however, there's something really cool about taking down the lost when you have such a big boy helping you.
What's interesting is that Ship Ahoy will actually alternate between attacking Audrey and the demon, specifically using its anchor at Audrey's location but then it will throw its giant gears at the Ink Demon's head and try to dodge these gears since the demon is ... Quite difficult? And this is because Bendy's tank controls are really unforgiving when we're trying to dodge things. And so, we take the fight further until we finally get out of the first phase, and now the final phase of the fight begins, and Ship Ahoy Wilson continues the assault, and although I am safe above with Audrey, the Ink Demon below.
Next he is taking damage from Ship Ahoy Wilson, but the Ink Demon is crying on him. But suddenly, Ship Ahoy Wilson's AI just breaks down, freezes in place, and no longer responds. No matter what I do, he doesn't move and I don't know why. I also can't die from running into him, which is kind of funny, but also worrying, so of course I start thinking of ways I can get his AI up and running again. And the only thing I could think of was to respawn, so I forced myself to fall off the map and when I respawned, um... it actually worked!
Ship Ahoy Wilson began to chase me once again, however, for some reason, he wasn't trying to hit me. He was just trying to step over me and step on me, and at that point there was nothing else he could do. So what do you do when you face an invincible monster and your attack methods are now zero? Well, run! So I run for my life and don't leave that area. I was hoping to escape through those long final hallways that lead to the end of the game, however Ship Ahoy Wilson had a different

idea

, because he wasn't going to let me escape, and the boss actually followed me to this final hallway.
So I'm running around here and I'm surprised because the walls break if we hit them with our pipe. Normally you're a giant Bendy and you're knocking down these walls, but apparently Audrey has a really strong arm! And since I skipped the trigger that starts the cutscene that takes place in this area, well, there are no enemies. Just a crazy mutant pirate and I have to say, watching Ship Ahoy Wilson crawl out of the rubble in the

dark

is really scary. The boss's AI was actually working in this area, and he followed me wherever I went, and what made it scarier was that the boss's music was still playing.
You know that terrifying Popeye the Sailor Man remix that blares while the fight continues? It makes quite a chase music! Despite my best efforts, I finally reach the end of the path, and although there are no enemies in the other parts, we still have Tom the Brute, and we have Allison up there and there are a few different enemies here. However, both Ship Ahoy Wilson and Ink Demon Bendy also made it here, so I'm trying to get away from this mutant Dudley, and I get on this pipe and realize there's no way to end this. The endgame doesn't activate and I'm basically stuck here with this invincible monster.
But yeah, that's what happens when you interrupt the final boss fight in Bendy and The Dark Revival. I hope you enjoyed this strange video, please subscribe if you did and of course I'll see you all in the next one. Health!
