of debris since Lincoln We put the mower deck back on the tractor and were unsuccessful. It has been one of those days when the weather is not good. I hope the car goes up this small slope. Otherwise, I think we'll have to add some sand. He is thinking about it. You gotta put on your glasses, get ready, step on the gas, here we go, uh-oh, you got it, no, I spoke too soon, so our car got stuck, luckily we have this giant pile of sand that's been here since we moved , I thought.

We could put sand in the grooves and, um, see what happens and put it over the holes that we can dig out. We didn't realize how muddy it was. Actually, yesterday he looked good. Yesterday it looked great. Everything seemed to harden. today it's just that there was no forecast in the rain in the there was no tiredness there is no rain in the forecast that doesn't mean anything that means nothing ever when if you come to Brittany just ignore the forecast bring bring an umbrella beach chairs sweaters sunscreen a heater and a fan because you get all of that in one day so what we really need to do is put a drain in here that goes all the way down and then I think we need to tax this yeah you look really excited let's put that in. on the list add that to the list Enzo is there sunbathing look now he's cute I bet the real

wife in Beverly Hills never does this kind of work they would complain okay I think I'm done it goes to the other side of the front front grass here, so I wasted a good hour and a half and now the dishwasher is closed.
Oh, they're closing in 10 minutes, yeah, and you don't have time. I can't go in there and get all that out of there. Lock you up if you're still there. I mean, I've never been there at closing time. I always leave a few minutes early, yes they are a little scary so I would do it, yes I would avoid it, it's okay we gave it the old one. College, try, yeah, and at least the trailer is up here, the car is up here, we're up here, yeah, so we're standing in our kitchen, the sink and what's under it and what's under it are going to be removed, the kitchen will be right next to this.

wall dishwasher first is a narrow dishwasher, well, yes, you walk into the cabin and there will be a little counter space and we will have a half size dishwasher, yes, and then our large sink, which is the Gran sink in the basement, which we don't have. we know how to move and sit in that exact spot for probably at least 100 years, yes, so it's probably a job of two big men, no or two men plus me, our sink is very similar to these big ones, shallow and very heavy , we haven't gotten a good look at it yet, but when we do we can decide the type of stone for the countertop as well as the color, then the right countertop and the stove and the stove, the loru lock and yes, the stove still fits found in our center. hallway maybe a little more countertop over here and then a big refrigerator refrigerator yeah, over here yeah, well the refrigerator will come however it ends up on this line, I don't remember where, but it's like in this general vicinity, so it will be like a nice galley kitchen, we can adjust it depending on how much counter space we think we want, yeah, so we're still not sure what to do with this little area down here, it's pretty big, why don't you stay there ? t   uh this whole thing can be moved, we just installed it recently, that was temporary, yeah, so it's a good amount of space, yeah, we'll have to come up with something creative there, so we'll have a nice functional kitchen, uh, we'll do it .
If we don't have cabinets upstairs, we'll probably make a couple of open shelves up there, install very simple Shaker-style cabinets, and have a large island table for cooking and prep work. We will practically have the kitchen with all the selected appliances. It's just a matter of finishing everything else before we can move on to that, as far as food storage and everything, we have a big cupboard in the kitchen of the chatau. The kitchen at the Chateau needs to be gutted and possibly repainted but I'm going to put this here to act as our pantry, well it's got a very country look anyway yeah so it'll fit in really well in this room and I know a lot People are thinking well, why do you put a pantry under the steps?
I don't want to see open shelves for food. I like the idea of open shelves above the kitchen area because I can put all my dishes and things on it, so this is essentially an open room. The lower floor of the cabin was previously divided into three separate rooms. We were told that there was a family of five living here at one time and we removed the wooden walls, returning the cabin to its original state. We're standing where the bar used to be, so there used to be a beautiful bar. here that thing we took out because I almost had a hard time taking it out, yes it was a big project so this area will act as a living and dining space, something quite simple as far as heating goes, I think If we are going to install underfloor heating radiant, it depends a lot on what we can do without raising the floor too much, because you know the fireplace hearth is only about an inch high.
The front door hearth is about an inch high, so I mean, there's a chance we'll have to excavate this floor and pour a new concrete floor. It is not perfectly level. It certainly has a lot. This has been transformed into a complete renovation of the

house

. Yeah, and we're not rushing, so I know we're taking things bite by bite, so to speak, when we get to the floor, we'll figure it out if we need to lift it up and re-pour the concrete, do underfloor heating, yeah, we're we've decided on this rustic stone looking tile for the bottom floor and the upstairs will still be wood, we'll probably also buy a mhm wood stove for the fireplace, so obviously we have all the walls down, but there will be a wall, um, right here once that wall was put back the stairwell is very dark so we need to add skylights yeah so I think we're thinking about adding three in total well probably one in this area , yes, and another one in this area, so there will be a wall somewhere along here and one over here and it will provide light for the stairwell, yes, because, oh, it gets very dark, so it will be very nice, so this is going to be a pretty big bedroom, yeah, and we'll probably put in a wood stove.
This fireplace too, of course, yeah, well, we're basically copying the design that they had before because that's pretty much what you know, the bathroom here is pretty much the only place you can put it, yeah, the door, you can see the walls, everything comes. in the bathroom with you, okay, my only problem is that it's not a huge bathroom and I don't know if I want to put a bathtub in here mhm, I just don't like a tub and shower combo, you know? I don't know, I don't like a shower curtain. I just think maybe a walk-in shower would be a little better and easier.
I mean, a bathtub is great, but we'll have to see if we really have to think about it. We're getting to that point where we have to figure it out, so I've been looking at tons of options. You want to get that copper bathtub. Yes, I want the Paris copper bathtub. I think it only cost like €20,000, so the bathtub and shower are like. I said I don't like a tub/shower combo, but I don't want it to feel too squished either, right? What do you prefer? Well, I don't mind a shower over the tub, actually, um, no, I think it's actually the shower curtain.
You don't like it, yeah, so unless you get one of those glass parties, you know you've seen most hotels have them. I'm sure there's a way we can figure it out okay, well we'll figure it out at some point. So it was Lincoln's idea to make this room. You can see that there is an A-frame that is about four times larger than this one. At the other end is the other cabin. It's just the barn haystack, basically, and we were thinking I'd just stop there because there's a piece that intersects, it's a little low, good size for a games room, yeah, I think that was a great idea, so there's a good amount of space here, um, that's the front of all the buildings, another skylight here. because it's too dark in here mhm, so you put everything here, this is the old board that we're going to reuse, yeah, and it also strengthened the floor a little bit, so yeah, yesterday you had a little mishap, yeah, you know. it was a little soft lincoln had an accident oh he's laughing look at that i found a weak spot but that's crazy so you were you your whole leg happened yeah you you oh my god it was no big deal saying it was no big deal because what your whole body could have happened there um it didn't well I'm GL near the floor okay okay did you try the others?
That you were having a dance party here? but this is really nice, it's going to be nice, so we're not going to plaster these beams that go horizontally, uh, right in the middle, so we can get some insulation, this won't stay here. It's being stored here so we can occupy the flat, it looks like a rickety shackle, I don't know what, but yes, there will be a proper wall up there and you can see the a-f frame of the structure, the Rompus room, it will be a great space to spend the day. while in the picture, a record player with records, maybe a small bar for those spicy margaritas, a reading corner with books and, if you're lucky, a nice view of the garden.
