We're going to do some of that soon, but first I need to use what I have, so that's what we'll do today with the pre-purchased ones. ready-made whipped soap base which makes it very easy. This is a very simple

recipe

. I'll share the full recipe below. It's simple, easy to make and it's just luxurious so the first thing I have to do is pull my hair back and my entire work surface is sanitized, it's very important if you're making lotions or body scrubs or anything like that so let me clean all my equipment and surfaces. Get out my mixer and get everything ready to go and let's go back and make a really fancy coffee shop. inspired whipped sugar soap, okay, I have everything finished, sanitized and ready to go, but I wanted to show you something here, this soap base, the one I'm using today, it says melt and pour, it's a crystal soap base, but it's made for whipping it's specifically for that and I bought it from the Flaming Candle company and it was a really good price but sometimes they sell out so I just wanted to show you the difference between the textures so this is melt and pour soap, so this is a soap. base, this is soap and I wanted to show you that there is nothing better than this, it is hard as a rock, it is very flexible and sticky, so they are not the same, so if you can't find it, they often run out of stock, I don't understand how . you can use this instead because you have a completely different recipe if you use melt and pour soap versus a soap base so I wanted to make sure you knew the distinction, they are not the same thing so now let's move on to making this. beautiful whipped soap today.

What I'm going to do is measure out the sugar and coffee here and set them aside before I get to the sticky stuff. I like to leave the dry ingredients aside, so I broke out my scale. Today I am working in ounces. If you like working in grams, they are great. If you simply enter ounces into grams, you'll find calculators online that will do all the work for you, so don't worry, but today I'm making ounces and I need 64 ounces of sugar. I would like to use this, of course, it's just natural cane sugar. I'm using it today.

I bought it at Walmart, so here is 64 ounces and all the pieces like this I'm going to break them by hand, okay, 64 ounces. I'm going to pull this up and I think I have about two ounces of ground espresso and again this is the coffee that I'm using today and I put it in my little grinder and I grind and grind and grind until I have a nice fine grind of espresso, like this So let me tell you what I have here. Yes, I have two ounces of ground coffee and this will be added all at once.
After giving the soap a good shake, okay, next step is 64 ounces of my melt and pour the crystal soap base in here so that's 64 ounces in and we'll get these tabs before we add the rest of the ingredients. I like to start here. I started a funny joke about this being a really easy and fun project if you've never done eyelashes. soap before filming my first attempt on youtube and it's so fun and not complicated and you get such a fun project, you know you get such a great product when it's all said and done, it's just amazing.
I really love the whipped soap in there. use 64 ounces of the base to melt and now I'm going to put this in my stand mixer and start blending okay. I turned off the blender so I could measure my liquid oils and talk to you without the background noise. Today, the preservative. the use is optifine. I have this from brambleberry, it's a wonderful broad spectrum preservative and that's what I'm using today because water can get into this product because it's a soap, people can have wet fingers and when you get water into a product or it's possible.
Introduced, it has to have a preservative, so even though the base already has a preservative, I add additional ingredients and again, if someone takes us to the shower or whatever, this is good protection, so today I'm using two ounces of Optifine for this batch size. my caramel apple crisp that smells like caramel and caramel latte. I love it, so I'm going to add three ounces of fragrant oil here and then to this liquid mixture and then for my oil, I'm going to add seven ounces. of sunflower oil today is a nice light oil, very pleasant for the skin and this is the liquid mixture that we will add after getting a good shake into the base.
I really like to double its size before adding this. Well, they beat us to double the size. This took maybe eight, eight, nine minutes to get to this point, so now I'm just going to turn the thing down and add my liquid ingredients here. We are kind of a cocktail of fragrance preservative and oil very slowly. put this on low heat and we're going to stir it in and then we're going to let it beat again and then we're going to add the dry ingredients okay it's time to add the sugar and the coffee to this delicious smoothie oh my gosh this.
It just looks delicious and I added another ounce, so I have a total of three ounces of ground coffee here. It seemed a little shy when I mixed it with the sugar and I definitely want you to see those coffee granules and pick up the little coffee scrub with so let me put it on low heat and we'll slowly add this in. This is going to be a very full pot when I'm done. It's time to place this delicious whip in the pots. Can we take a minute? Oh, I promise you. you could be him, this smells so luxurious and caramel and coffee and yum yum yum okay, I have my piping bag here with just one tip open so it's nice and easy to put in the bags and I'm going to weigh it as I do it.
To get them, I have eight ounce jars and I want to fill them, they can hold about eight ounces because it's a nice solid with the sugar, so even though it's whipped I can get 8 ounces in each of these jars, so I'm going to make pipes and I don't want to fill the bag too much, I can put it back in this cup and refill it if I need to, but pipes are very difficult if your bag is too full. I think the ones I use today are 14 or 16 inch bags. I need deeper bags, like 20 inches, where you can put a lot more stuff for big jobs.
These are perfect for soaping, but for a big job like this whip soap I wish I had it. larger bags, so if you buy bags and you make soap with whipped cream, buy the big one, make yourself a favorite, otherwise you will have to refill it a lot less, so let's stop there, let me bring my scale closer, turn it on and start it. and we'll start spraying this one, okay, there we go, a little over eight ounces, that's fantastic, my word, and I think I'll add some coffee beans on top to give it a little surprise, do it right here, they're all in the jars I have 17 eight ounce jars and two small two ounce jars that are so cute that they will be gifts for someone and I have now decided that it won't be much of a hassle for the recipient to choose them.
I have my coffee beans here and my stainless steel tongs. I'm going to put a few coffee beans in each of these, just to imagine something like that, maybe two or three in each, not too much, but I want you to do that. It will add to the aroma when you open the opening lid. I thought it would be very beautiful and here we go, so they will look like this when you open it. Oh my goodness, they are so delicious. Let me clarify everything. and then we'll put the lids on and once the lids are on, I'm going to take off the gloves and I'm going to print the labels and all the other good stuff that goes with this.
I'm getting ready to put on the covers and these covers. and the jars are from wholesale supplies, plus they are eight ounce jars and they hold a little bit. If you look at the jars, they give you a suggested lid size and all that, so these are the lids for the jars and they come with some plastic. liner or it's not foam but it's kind of like a ceiling liner there so they're already there and I know I'm going to push my little spikes down but I have to try to go down and close all of these oh my gosh they're so pretty and then after I put all the lids on, I'll do the labels.
I'll probably make a top label and a side label with shrink tape and they'll be ready to go. I love this because there is no cure to label. They are ready to use. I love it. We are back. I have the labels printed and ready to use. These are from onlinelabels.com. I used Maestro Label Designer to create these labels. They are one and a half by five inch labels. which I use to label the jar wrappers and then I have little circle labels here, I think they're two inches, also master designer with inline labels that go on the top, here are the shrink bands that I'm using today and let me tell you are.
They're actually a little tight here they work but they're made for the six and four ounce jars they measure 115 by 55 from wholesale supplies and they have a little perforated lip so they're easy to remove but this is what I have so pinch them and I don't have to do much to shrink them so I can place them here but ideally I would buy the next size up for these pots so next time I order again I will buy the largest one for my pots at 8 ounces and save them for my six and four ounce jars, but anyway I supply wholesale and that's where I get the shrink bands, the jars, the lids, everything that they ask me for every time, so there it is, I will provide all of these with a seal and man they smell amazing thank you so much thank you so much for joining us today and if you like the video don't forget to hit the subscribe button so you don't miss anything in the studio because I will have my soap base recipe coming soon, I don't know when, but that's what I'm going to work on, so we'll be making our own whipped crust in the future and you won't want to miss it, so thanks again for joining me and having a good time. day
