I Built Minecraft using Magnets IRL

May 07, 2024
I'm

using

magnets

to create my own Minecraft blocks so I can build my friend's Minecraft house in real life, but before putting the base together we need blocks, normally I would buy them online, but for this challenge I need to create them myself. After some research, I found this blueprint for making a Minecraft block

using

just paper. Well, it's not the best there is, but it's not the worst either. It's cube shaped, mainly the only problem: it's not magnetic at the moment, luckily I had a couple of toy Magnets in my garage, except they were dirty, very dirty, but nothing that a vigorous cleaning couldn't fix.

I glued them on the inside and completed the grass block. Alright, moment of truth, will our grass block attach to the

magnets

? Please let's go. please wait guys it doesn't stick but it's like repelling oh because it's the opposite side of the magnet so if we turn the grass block it swells up. It's magic, well it's not quite magic, it's just standard science, but it actually works, so we just need to create. one more ton of these blocks and we can build the house, except I instantly ran into a problem after creating the first 10 blocks or so.

More Interesting Facts About,

i built minecraft using magnets irl...

I noticed that they were all different shapes and sizes. Am I going crazy or are they all different? You know what maybe? It's going to look good once we start building them and joining them here, that joins there, perfect, not perfect, this looks like garbage, man. I printed them all with the same printer, why are they different sizes and colors? Dude, I can't show the chip. These will kill me. You see, the base I'm building actually belongs to my friend Chip, at least it did before he blew it up on MyCraft with all these exquisitely designed houses.

No one is missing this ugly old blubble wood. Let the TNT SP. My base looks a lot better you know I worked really hard to get my stuff there uh don't worry you'll tag me later bye boy but what chip doesn't know is that I'm surprising him with his Minecraft base in real life except which is easier said than done because the Bas chip consists of a fully decorated bedroom, a level 30 enchantment room, and even a hidden secret base. All of that would take hundreds of blocks and so far I only have 10 unstable, we need an upgrade. and this is plaster of paris commonly used in literal construction buildings, so if this doesn't make a stronger block, I don't know what will.

For the next hour I was mixing shapes and paint in hopes of creating a better magnetic grass block. , finally a The block made of plaster has dried and although it looks very good and is definitely very sturdy, as if this thing is literally invincible. I have discovered a new problem: the block is too heavy to stick to the magnets, the magnets are simply not powerful enough. That was literally 2 hours of my wasted time bro, clearly I need to use a faster material like paper but it was too weak, maybe if we could combine it with a blue card tack, some kind of backing glue material, but there is so many different things that I have to keep track of.

Welcome to Office Works, apparently the place with everyday low prices, let's find out since it was already late. I had to make sure these materials really worked. I started buying stronger paper and tools to accurately measure the blocks and eventually I really needed a better printer. There are so many printers which one of these is the best, my friend, oh oh wait, this is it. the one I saw online and it's supposed to be the best and it's $649 dude this was literally double the price on the internet no way not only has everything been super cheap but it's also been super high quality and super heavy, I guess buying from the office works for all my supplies from now on, come on please, this printer is literally twice the size which must mean it's better, guys, bigger equals better, in actually, wait, I'm short, it's available now, please look at that guys, the colors are so many. brighter and more vibrant and man, I can't even tear this paper, it's so strong it doesn't even wrinkle, this is going to be perfect, especially when I add a couple of my new strategies.
First thing we're going to cut out the block and I can already feel how hard it is to cut this paper, take it out, it looks clean buddy, one problem I was having with the last batch of blocks is that I didn't know exactly where to put the magnets. So I created this weird little outline pattern. I don't know how else to describe it. Take a look at that guys, it's basically a perfect square with a hole in the middle that I put in to align it with the center. of our block use a pen and mark the exact center where the magnet should go.
The other thing I was doing is I was only using two magnets, one on each side of the block, but for this build to really work I need to have a magnet. on all sides so we can stack the blocks, put them on their sides, put them under all that good stuff, we're going to mark this side here with the blue marker, this will be our north side, and then with the orange one. Sharpie here, we'll throw this to Mark on the south side so that I don't get confused and miss where our glue is. Let's throw it away.
We are going to put a small portion with a little glue. Let's remove the top magnet. here with the tweezers, okay, we've got it and we're going to put it right in the center and push down so it really stays there and holds the pressure and now we're going to put the south end on the second one here. if it is even a little bit too close to our north magnet, it will connect to it and this whole cube will be ruined. Okay, now we have two magnets. Let's stay here guys, we're doing a good job and then we'll be.
We're going to fold this edge here, we've got all the folds, now we just need to glue the folds together, so we'll put a little bit of glue on the end of that fold, hold it in place, that should be good enough. together and looks so good, what do I mean compared to the other one, even one that is similar, brother, the difference is night and day, the other one looks ugly, there are still some problems, do you see that little line of white fold that are in everyone? I can see the sides as a little glimpse of paper and not to mention the magnets are still too weak, they are not connecting the way I want them to.
It's supposed to attract bro, oh wait a minute, what have I done? The chip will literally visit me tomorrow. This is the best one I have, so I kept trying and testing different plans I could find on the internet to decide which one is the best. Minecraft blocks quiz. One came out a little better, but the colors were a little dull and boring. The second one was much easier to build because it was bigger, the colors were super bright, except maybe a little too bright, it looks fake. Oh, with the third one I did it. Look at this guys, there's not a bit of white anywhere and the colors are perfect.
Matching what it looks like in Minecraft, we're in business, just one more thing. I found these super strong magnets made of neodium for $25 online and obviously bought them instantly and here they are. I've

built

five blocks here to demonstrate how it works. these magnets are ready oh this is the Bliss magnet buddy okay so all we have to do is create a ton more of these blocks and build the base before the chip arrives but chip bace could be between 100 and 8,000 blocks and no exact number. I couldn't complete this in time. I had to find a way to count them all.
Fortunately, I have the chip base here or please make a copy before you blow up the real one, let's see what we have here, okay, select. On this side I selected the other corner 1,680 blocks which is much more than I thought. Will I be able to finish this before the chip arrives? I had no time to waste and with the help of three coffees and a couple of Red Bulls I continued building. blocks all night my blogs no, this is going to be a very long night guys, but finally after Building Blocks Early in the morning I managed to finish all the blocks just before the sun came up, that's it, the last block, The lovely table, how great, how is it. that look I sacrificed all my sanity and I sleep well it's done all we have to do is build the base how much time do we have? 1 first I started with the base using grass blocks and they fit together perfectly special team special game special players it's Tuesday The next Tuesday I placed a tree right in front of where Chip's secret base would be.
I was so nervous because the magnets weren't strong enough to hold everything together, but now it worked for the house in the easiest way I could think of. I was starting with a layout and then extending the base walls, I even added a door and TAA, the first floor exterior was complete now for the chip bedroom, luckily it's not that decorator and it's pretty simple to build just a few. chests, a crafting table, furnaces, and of course a bed chip, he also has an armor stand in his bedroom, but it's kind of impossible for me to do right now, so let's just put a pig's head here , do not tell her.
On the next floor I started by extending the walls and then dividing the rooms. I even added a ladder as its Minecraft base, but it turned out to be more challenging than I thought. Alright, slowly the ladder goes, oh brother, I'm trying to get the ladder in and it keeps sticking to the wrong things oh no, it's smashing the wall dude, it broke the block too, are you kidding me? I mean, Chip doesn't really need a ladder, right, he won't even notice that the next enchantment is missing. room with bookshelves, an ender chest, and a single lovely table, it wasn't too difficult, but now for the hardest part of this whole build, there is a secret chip base hidden behind a waterfall.
I slowly

built

identical mountains and waterfalls, man, it was extremely difficult because I was very, very small, but using my pinky I managed to finish it just in time, it's magical, it's magical, it's beautiful, I actually can't believe it turned out like this, look at it, It's 3D, you can even see the inside and everything, bro. It's actually interactive, I could play with this if I wanted to, but of course there's one last thing missing, obviously I'm holding some TNT about to blow up the chip base, wait, do you hear what those steps are? I think the chip is here, hide quickly.
We're going to hide that before I see it what do you want why uh well do you remember a couple of days ago when I blew up your base and everything and it was so cool that it was very recent? I'm still angry. By the way, I have something that I think will improve your mood. Is this my base, how did you do this? Oh, my table is my, this is my secret. Bas, how to do this. You see, oh, sorry, it's frile, why? don't pick it up I thought you would I thought I could take it with me I thought you could I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry no we can't fix it I'm sorry no thanks to all these guys for making today's video possible you guys are my new favorite fans hey Mega fans if you want a shout out just click the join button below this video scroll down and click oh megaan.
