The next day, I carefully turned my design right side out. I then placed an old 18 inch pillow inside before sealing the remaining side with hot glue. The outer cover was a little big so I ended up cutting out some of this fabric and re-sealing it, but when I was done I had something that looked like this for project number two. I'm using two more pieces of black

faux

leather two. wood pieces and two faux wood frames, all from Dollar Tree. Thank you. I used a strong adhesive and hot glue to join the four pieces of wood and faux wood.

Here's a tip: once you cut the leather, if the white fibers on the back are very visible, you can burn the ends to get a very clean finish. I started working on my lampshade instead of making a lampshade. I thought about it. It was easier and less expensive to just buy one, you can get one at a thrift store, a small one from Five. Below, this one came from Target. I think I paid about ten

dollar

s for it and I really love the square design. I have already used this one. lampshade before, so you already have a Dollar Tree napkin holder in the center.
Here I am adding two additional rings to get the height I need. I'm also adding some rhinestones to give my modern design a touch of glamor to hold the screen. You will want to cut a hole in the top of the leather so you can attach the napkin rings directly to the particle board. I also added more hot glue inside the napkin rings to help keep the display in place. I placed two. remote controlled LED lights from Five Below on top of my lampshade and here is the finished look. I'm very happy with the outcome of both projects, they were easy and fun to make and fit in with the rest of my modern Glam

decor
