book

I've been looking forward to talking about Norm McDonald's

book

based

on a

true

story

, not a

memoir

, this book took me forever to get. I think this is the fourth time I've ordered it. So the first time I ordered it I was waiting and waiting and waiting, it never came, they sent it back to the seller, I got a refund, I ordered it again and they didn't deliver at first, I thought it was perfect because of all the books I tried . I ordered and it was delivered wrong and I was having a hard time getting it, I guess it was Norm's book.

That thought entertained me a little at first, I ordered it again, I don't even know what happened that time, then I ordered it for the fourth time and I was a little hesitant but I was determined to get this book. I just thought I'd give it to him. I wouldn't give up and then I was at work and I got an email that something was being delivered and I saw the photo. of it at my door, a part of me was still a little suspicious and I finally opened it not expecting to see the book in the package, but then I saw the book in the package and it was like Christmas morning, I was in the middle of another book when it finally arrived and I thought, well I need to read this now, so I quickly read the book it was in, I don't even remember what book it was and then I dove into it and oh man, in this book he

I was, oh man, I couldn't put this book down. I joked with other coworkers that if I bring it to work, I won't want to work and it really wasn't part of me. Many times I would have it open and I would be reading and I just wanted to put it in front of my face and respond with busy, come in, but I love my job. so I didn't, so if you don't know Norm, if you're not a fan of him and you want to see what his humor is all about, don't read this book yet, because the part that's not a

memoir

is It's Really Not a Memoir and if you know his comedy you'll know that's who he is anyway and he even says in the back of this book when he approached Norm Macdonald, one of the greatest comedians of all time, to write. a celebrity memoir, steadfastly refused to call the genre a step below the textbook

norm

and then quickly took a two-year hiatus from stand-up comedy to live on a farm in northern When Canada emerged, it had a manuscript under its arm, a devastating genre. book about comedy tragedy love loss war and redemption when asked if this was a celebrity memoir

norm

a responded call it what you want that's norma for you it even makes me wonder where she wrote this book because it seems like all her stories begin with his falsehood. the stories start with him on a farm, Conan actually called him and he was so delighted when he did this, yeah, or is he one of yours, he has a farm and a goat comes, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, I saw a triad , said.

I want you to meet my donkey, he said, and I said, well, Mr. Trump, I know you're running for president, but tell me more about this, here, donkey, well, you say if you want to see the donkey, you first have to meet my three daughters. Now the first one is shy, the second one is sexy and the third one has one leg. I'm making this all up, I know, but this is exactly what you do, so there are little fragments of truth, at least he would have you believe in this book. but it's mostly fiction, eh, how do I describe this book to people who don't know Norm's style?
book review norm macdonald s based on a true story not a memoir
He built a character around it and wrote a book about it. He is a stalker. A drug user responsible for deaths. He ended up in prison. He insults his friends. saget is one of them during the episode where he talks about the dirty work if you've seen bob saget's roast you know how norma really cared about him in all seriousness bob was the first comedian i saw perform live when i was a kid and uh, I loved him uh, but one thing that unites us as comedians is that we are bitter and jealous and we hate everyone else who is successful, but Bob honestly has never had an unkind word for anyone and I love him and I hope everyone else does. he does, I just wanted to say thank you, he even included pictures of him as a kid, he always had that smile and I loved that there was a ghostwriter involved, there's actually a

story

about the ghostwriter and what I love is he talks of what he's wearing and I don't doubt he's done this at least once, but every time he seems to appear in this book he's wearing an armed shirt, a snl jacket, and a dirty work hat because you know he needs to put it down.
People know what he's been up to, that he's someone who's so normal and I think that's why other comedians praised me so much when he first came out, because everyone knows Norm's craziness and he's got it all over him, I mean, obviously. he wrote it and there are quotes from some of them saying how delighted they were to be included in the book, they don't care that he made up stories about them because that's the norm, that's why it's so unique and that's what makes this book stand strong. putting out so much stuff makes it very different because you go in thinking it's his memoir, but if you know something about him and you get to the first or second page, you think yeah, no, this isn't a memoir, but oh man, it's so good, It's so good.
I know I have the physical book, but I'm almost tempted to buy the audio version too because he's reading it, although while I was reading I heard his voice reading it, it wasn't my voice, you know how you always listen. your own voice when you're reading a book, not this one, I listened to Norm, but to really hear it I can get the audio version too just to experience it, it's definitely a book I want to be with me at all times, even if I only have time . read a page if I'm done with a book I'm currently reading, as long as I have this near me just to kill time until I get home, that would keep me happy, but I don't want to ruin it.
I don't want him to get hit, that's the only thing that keeps me at home, but if I wasn't worried about that, I would take him with me and always have a little bit of a norm with me at all times. doesn't seem like a bad idea, a fan of his needs to read this book and if this makes you curious about him, watch some interviews, maybe watch some things he's been in, get to know him a little and then pick up this book. I just can't say enough about all the crazy stories, I don't know how he did it, but he made up the best stories and it's all captured in this book, so if I had to rank this book, if I had to rank it.
This book has five stars, I would give it seven because it's average, I love it if you're easily offended, you might not want to read this just because there are no limits with him in this book, he goes above and beyond, but just remember it's fiction, that's my

review

because if this continued I'd just be saying the same thing over and over how much I love him so I guess I have to end this somehow. That's my review on Norm, so my next celebrity book. The review could be my Bob Saget book. I don't know when he'll show up, but he'll show up eventually because he's in my pile to read, but I'll do it, see you next time, bye.
