Testing a Snowrator UNLIKE anything YET. New for 2022

everyday negative eight man oh holy this may look like snow raider to some of you but this has been completely redesigned from the ground up well you beat me here okay guys let's see a new update. sidewalk removal tool revamped, reinvented and reinvented by the boss, so this is it, some of you may know the Snow Raider. This is like Snow Raider 4.0 and that's right here. Let's see what we're dealing with today. Hey Siri, what's the tempo? It's not going to be any hotter there than it is here, but we'll go in anyway. Holy first impressions. Wow, reinvented. Reimagine. Everything has changed in this thing. This has basically been completely shredded. the same name but nothing more, nothing more, yeah, yeah, how many, hey, rick, how many different accessories does this unit come with or could it be this, there are four different accessories, you have the broom, the blower, a V-plow and a straight blade and actually two sizes of straight blades four feet and five four and five feet and then you'll have a front mounted spreader that we don't really call an attachment because it doesn't attach to the front, it's actually an attachment, as You know.

I also have a rear mounted broadcast spreader which you'll see, the old snow plow has that internal interchangeability like this one, not just basically the four foot blade, yeah, and the drop spreader and now the tailgate spreader what we have. We're also introducing it and it's going to stay like that, basically just a plow where this one gives you the added versatility of seeing the spreader on the back as well, so to release the plow, take disconnect two hoses, lower the leg two set one two just here and that's it, so the design basically knew from scratch if we were using the same power plant as the old snow blower, no, that was the most important thing, we needed more power to run the broom and the blower, okay? i have a v-twin uh right now we are developing an engine with kohler which is an efi electronic throttle body so 26.5 horsepower is what this one runs yeah that's what's on both a 26 horsepower kohler efi, so it's the same power plant as in the multiforce, if I remember correctly, yeah, and tell me, walk me through the options we have with this one, you'll see, I mean, I see the salt spreader on the back of this one, uh, and this one, so this is a bolt. -In the option it seems so, in fact that is how it is placed so that you don't have to walk around with that thing on all night worrying about hitting post office boxes or signs while you do it. you can blow up that bad boy at the end of the turn, you finish all your sidewalks and then you go down and consult him so he's not hanging and hanging, well, that makes sense, so we wanted to keep that on the front, uh, like our current Snow Raider , so drop the spreader, you said Steve, yeah, so it's mounted here, so now that one is bolted on, we haven't developed a quick attachment for that yet, but that's okay, as we look at the two units we have.

I have a basic unit here, this drop spreader on the front is the unit you're talking about here, it looks like it bolts on with four main bolts, there's the frame without it so you can see how it adds right to the front. of that machine and what it looks like, no and we have a V plow, it's a four, four, two, uh, we'll have two straight blade options, a four and a five foot, um with optional wings, as you can see, installed there, yes, a four-foot broom. and a four-foot snow thriller, okay, let's do it, let's check it out.

The action is pretty simple, just move left and right and back. As for the hydraulics for attachments, this is lifting and lowering, so lifting is basically pushing down. which they try to make it so you can do it while you're still driving, you know, so you can have one hand there to operate everything without having to feel and reach for each specific control and then these are basically your low flows as well as connected to the v-power, you'll have your left and right wings you've got your throttle like I said it was an electronic throttle body so it's a power button this is your screen switch to toggle between different screen options so you can show the gauge fuel, oil temperature, hydraulic light switch and engine oil temperature and then high flow like a button, you went back and forth, pretty easy at this point, I had no idea it was going to happen. go through that snow.

What that was was all the hard, packed snow from all season that we've been pushing up but not removing until the end of the trail because it's not in our contract that they want to use this area as a snow dump and that's what this specifically left alone as a place to dump our extra snow, okay let's see how the broom handles things now, one of the things you can't really see because it doesn't stand out, but you start to appreciate that eventually are vents, yes this actually has vents directed at the operator it has vents right where your hands are so your hands stay warm and it has other vents directed directly at him now of course it doesn't have a cab but I'd rather have a little heat towards me that nothing at all hears, what are you thinking so far?

So we can keep all of that out of the corrosive salt, so you have your salt.

They call this path exact because it covers exactly the path of much of the machine and now you are plowing and salting at exactly the same time. We basically set it aside so it actually shoots like a five. I think it's a 12 foot drive, so it gives you a little wider path for certain areas. You'll have to take care of it like a complex like that.
