Mount Scott Oklahoma - Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge

Hello adventurers and welcome back to my channel. If you've been on my channel for a long time, this may sound familiar to you and it was actually a request from one of you at home, so let's skip to the intro and jump right into it on a winter day a couple of years ago. A while ago I decided I was going to go to Oklahoma to the Wichita Mountains and do a hike. I had no idea what to expect and oh my god, it was cold. I reached the highest point in the Wichita Mountains, which is Mount Scott. and I was so excited to share that moment with you, we went on a very, very cold, windy hike, well we barely made it, some of you at home said no way, Jose, I'm not going to hide that, but what? can they drive because it seems?

Great, yes you can, so today I'm going to show you the scenic drive to the top of Mount Scott and the overlook itself so you can see what the views look like from the highest point in this part of Oklahoma. Now we're almost there. to the top of the

ain and as you can see it's not a fast trip, it's about 25 to 30 miles per hour to the top, but it's much faster than on foot and the views around here are spectacular. pass by each and every one of these rock walls you can see the lichen and the little moss some water dripping and on the other side what a stunning look this is beautiful here now just to give you a reference of this path right here.

It's the way you enter the Wichita Mountains now, just a little bit higher from the sun here to the shade here, there's probably at least a 10 to 15 degree difference and the wind blows through here from time to time and it's really cold. Since I'm here in January guys once we get to the top the views go on for days and days and you can get to any point on the

mount

ain and see something spectacular right now the sun is going down a bit so it's so so beautiful so go for it as you can see guys the view from the top is spectacular and whether you walk, bike or drive it is a must stop if you ever come back to
