Wow, I really wasn't expecting this so I didn't write anything down, however my wife did and handed me something. I would like to thank the Hollywood Forum press for this great honor. I would also like to thank my wife Nancy for her constant support and for being so beautiful tonight, that is true, thanks also to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant for creating this wonderful and innovative piece of television and to Greg Daniels for his talent, courage and pure audacity, this is good, thank you for giving me two wonderful children like No matter how painful their birth was, thanks also to an excellent casting and writing team, to all of you to whom I am indebted if it were not for you.
