, it's awesome to tell you that I'm not lying bolo, before you start, make sure you subscribe, make sure you comment and make. Make sure you turn on those post notifications so you know the next time I have another video available and at the end of this video, if you like it, press thumbs up, if you don't like it, press thumbs down, like one and two thumbs below if you want, but as you guys already know, I don't really care, so today I was going to make a video about some software, but the only problem is that the software was not the full version, so I couldn't do it. a video about what I want to do because the software was not a full version of the software so I couldn't make the video so I had to change things and I felt like making a

beat

on the old stand. single hardware unit, which is the mpcx and, uh, the rolling fa06 because at the end of the day I'm a hardware kind of person.
mpc x standalone mode with roland fa 06 made a quick crazy beat tutorial
I have used hardware since 2000 2001 and have continued to use it over all these years and a lot. A lot of people are going back to hardware just for the sound and the ease of use and, uh, taking a lot of time to make

beat

s because you know you have to route things and all that kind of stuff, it's a pain to ask, but at least in the end of the day, you have to love hardware. It's a lot of fun to make beats with, so I'm going to make a really fast, simple beat and, yeah, on that beat tape I was talking about, I might drop a beat. tape with all the beats that I make on YouTube and I may have it, you know, for sale or at the police.

I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but almost everything I do from now on will be on like my YouTube. Beat Tape and it should be pretty good, so, yeah, let's go ahead and make a really

quick

Beat. I'm going to explain the process and everything and see how it turns out at the end of the video, so without me talking as much. let's go ahead and do something very

quick

and very simple right now, okay the mpcx started up fa06, let's have some fun. I think the first thing I want to start with is I have this little bell sound here and it goes. be the main track and then from there just build behind it and this shouldn't take too long, these quick simple easy little beats are kind of fun because there aren't a lot of sounds in them and the artists can do their thing. and it's not going to sound too messy, so I'll put some basic sounds in here, let's have some fun, uh, that's cool, let's go ahead and speed that up to probably about once, yeah, I think we can do it once, uh, I think. 170 would be nice, I think so, I think that would be cool, so for now I'm just going to add another little sound to go with it, um, I was going to try to make a bass sound, but I don't think I need it, um, let's try to find something to go with the first time, okay, cool, so we've got those two sounds, let's go ahead and add some drums, I've got my gig, the producer's drums, here. and we're going to add producer drum kit bottle sounds 2020 here, so let's go ahead and add that right now, so we press explore and go to my files, go to programs and go to the bolo kit 2020 that already has a The drum kit is already set up here and now, once I go to my next track, I can go ahead and go to my programs and maybe go to the 2020 kit, let's add it here, so now what we're going to do is to add something. my hats no repeat change the change the quantize time to 1 8 let's do it ah that already feels good um let's go ahead and add some light percussion here maybe like a rim shot or some snare ah I definitely do an open hat, so now let's go ahead and add maybe like a little box or something, um, yeah, let's add that, oh, that's cool, so now let's add a base here, but I already have my bases set up a little different, I can do them on the pads, but what I'm going to do is create a key group that I already have pretty much a base key group, so I'm going to go ahead and use a base key group that I already have.
mpc x standalone mode with roland fa 06 made a quick crazy beat tutorial
I've already done that, so let me go to the key group right here, let me go to navigate and as you can see, I have a bolo trap base here, but I want to use, I'm going to use something a little different, so, let's go. let's go to main, let's go to key group, let's go to program edit and choose the sound that we want to add to the key group, so right now the sample is here at none, which you guys can't even see, but it says none and what we're going to do is choose a sample from here, so let's look at it, let's go to no 808 main, let's do which one I have here, ah, let's try this foundation, right? here, let's go back to the master, let's turn this uh poly down to mono and do this as a single shot and come back here yeah, let's come up with something cool, oh, I like that, um, let's add a kick to that, oh, that's cool.
mpc x standalone mode with roland fa 06 made a quick crazy beat tutorial
We need to add one more sound now, but you know what I want. I want to see how it sounds if we transpose it a little. It's nice that this can transpose the entire sequence down, but let me add. the other sound comes in first and then we'll see how it sounds if we transpose it down, so let's go back to the midi, let's make another midi track, let's go to channel three, let's go to the damn man, I just

made

a mistake, change the signal. by accident, why did I do that, but I put another sound in here it should sound pretty decent and, uh, let's go ahead and add that last time.
Oh, that sounds good, so, yeah, there it is. I

made

a beat again with my mpcx and my. rolling fa06 you must love making beats and the standalone mode, it just takes you back to the essence of when things were a lot more complicated but simple at the same time and as you can see it doesn't take that long to create beats using you know, gear independent and it's actually kind of fun because it's fun for me, but you know, watch the beat in its entirety at the end of the video. I could transpose it down.
I don't know yet, but um. I'm going to go ahead and load all the sounds into the computer, mix them together and put the full version at the end of the video, so I hope you enjoyed everything, I hope you learned something from this and like I always say, peace and uh, look . out with the beatles you
