and I hope I can give you what God put in my spirit my text is Exodus chapter 14 verses 11 at the end I'm going to add 21 I told you 20 but I was reading my notes and I would like to add up to 21 that the context is that the Hebrew children who have been held in captivity for centuries by the Egyptians finally received deliverance through Moses and as part of their delivery to the promised land, they must travel through the desert. and it seems like everything is going to be fine, but then they get to this point where they're at the Red Sea, which maybe wouldn't be problematic, but then they have Egypt right behind them because Egypt just wouldn't let them go.

Egypt changed its mind at a certain point and started persecuting them, so we have the Hebrew children who are trapped between the Red Sea that they can't cross and their oppressor who they are trying so hard to run away from and they are frustrated because they can't. I understand why God brought them to this point and then allowed them to experience tragedy. Then they told Moses why there were no tombs in Egypt. Have you led us to die in the desert? Why have you tried? Why have you treated me like this? us to get us out of Egypt, isn't this the word that we told them in Egypt saying: leave us alone so that we can serve the Egyptians because it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert and verse? 13 continues it says and Moses said to the people do not fear, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord that will be fulfilled for you today for the Egyptians that you see today, you will not see again forever the Lord will fight for you. and you will be silent M that seemed good to me the Lord will fight for you and you will be silent and the Lord said to Moses why are you crying for me tell the children of Israel to go ahead but lift up your staff and Stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it and the children of Israel will pass on dry ground through the middle of the sea and I will truly harden the hearts of the Egyptians and they will follow them to gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his armies, his chariots and his horsemen, then the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord and the angel of God that went before the camp of Israel moved and went behind them and the pillar of cloud came out from before them and stood between them behind them.

So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel, so it was cloud and darkness for the one and it gave light by night to the other, so that one did not come near the other all that night. Spirit of the Living God oh, I thank you, I thank you for your

, I thank you for your wisdom, I thank you for your grace, I thank you for your strategy that when we all ran out of options, you were preparing to make another move of Power , God, I beg you. may this be a moment of intimate encounter between you and your people God, I am so grateful that you use me as a vessel to serve what you are doing in their lives and God, I pray that you would draw me out in the way that you would strengthen me that you would give me language that you would translate from my mouth what you have deposited in my heart that would fall into their spirits and take root and produce fruit God I call on your name great God that we are without you I am nothing I cannot say anything that would change your life but with you I believe that We could break a generational curse in this room and that is why God I give you full permission to move as you have already decided to do in the name of Jesus.

I pray amen, amen, we are in an election season and every time we are in an election season, I am reminded of how young this country is. The United States is 246 years old, that's when the government was formed and at 35 years old hearing something that is 246 years old makes it seem a little old, but it's not really old in the context of other world powers and other world governments. Egypt's government dates back to 3100 BC. The rule of India dates back to 2000 BC. Greece 1600 BC China 1600 BC With this context, it makes a lot more sense while during an election season we see so many people talking about the experiment that is the United States, there is a girl waving at me, hey honey, how are you?

In addition to being one of the youngest countries in the world, there is this reality that because of the way this country is organized, it is literally an experiment. Because of the way this country was created, it was unheard of at the time to have a government whose founding principles were rooted in the idea. We are concerned about taxes in our neighborhood. We are concerned about underdevelopment or overdevelopment. We are concerned about urban planning. And none of these are things that happen. In this peaceful transition of power that gets all the news coverage, this is what happens in the silent transition of power. The silent transition of power is not just something that happens within the government, it is not uncommon, but it is not something we discuss at all. Often, there is a silent transition of power that occurs Within the culture there was no announcement When the machines were going to take people's jobs, we just looked up and we were in Walmart and suddenly, where there was a cashier, they told you that pack yours. groceries there was a silent transition of power we used to ask people what kind of cable they have now people don't even have cable we have Hulu and Netflix and there was no big announcement that everyone would leave cable alone In this silent transition of power there was no notification of when our phones would become the place where we have our constant form of communication.

It used to be that if you weren't home you missed me, but now you can catch me whenever you want, who knows. When the phone books stopped being relative no one said hey, the phone books don't matter anymore there was a silent transition of power that silent transition of power is also the strategy that the enemy uses when he is taking power too, can you tell me the moment where ? Did you go from being faithful to being afraid or was there just this silent transition of power. I was studying about this silent transition of power and I realized that as if it were not enough to have a silent transition of power there is another harsh reality and it is when there is a silent transition of power that we end up in a position where we ask God to restore what we lost instead of asking God to restore the power we lost in this silent transition of power sometimes the restoration is not that you get back what you lost sometimes the restoration is that you get the spirit you had before you lost what you lost because God has not given us this spirit of fear but of power, love and a healthy mind, but when you go through a silent transition of power, fear now has more power than it ever had and you may be asking God that restores something that you may never be able to get back, but what God can do is restore the spirit that you had before you experienced the loss in the first place man as if it were not enough that power we simply escape the power to speak the power to follow committed the power to continue fighting when we are tired we simply escape what happens in the silent trans The thing about power is that we also distance ourselves from God oh because when we are in our power we reflect the image of almighty God but when we no longer feel that we have power it's hard to stay in the tension of serving an almighty God, when you feel like you have no power, I'm going somewhere, I promise, just because you lose your power doesn't mean God lost his, and when you separate yourself from God because of that silent transition of power affects you so much that you can no longer be in the presence of God.

Don't just create this sense of security for yourself, what you are actually doing is alienating yourself from the very power that can restore what has been lost and that is why there are people in this room who are here no matter the cost because they recognize that I have to have access to power because the way my life is set up I don't always feel powerful, I don't always feel like someone who can raise this family. I don't always feel like someone who has the power he needs, but what I realize is that I have access to power and as long as I have access to power I can run out of steam because he is as close as the mere mention of his name, there have been times when I had no power but all I could say was Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus I didn't know what to pray but the spirit made a declaration on my behalf. because when I begin to call on the name of Jesus, the power appears in my circumstances, oh, I feel my help coming, so when Job says that even if he kills me, should I trust him?, he is not refuting the fact that He's in trouble, he's in trouble.

But what he is saying is that even if I am in trouble I am not going to cut off access to the one who I know can get me out of trouble, to say even if he kills me, should I trust him? It's an act of defiance when you're in the middle of a power transition because what he says is oh no, it hurts oh no, I'm down but at the end of the day I still trust him, he's all I can hold on to, he's all that I have and honey. He is all I need because if I have him I have a way out.

There are some scriptures that only have their power because they exemplify for us what it is like to have constant access to power even when we don't feel power. I want to quote a few of them for you because if you take nothing else away from this service, what I want you to understand is that although the power of depression can be strong, although the power of anxiety can be strong if you stay connected to God, that power will have to face his power and let me tell you something he always wins, let me tell you something he never gives up, let me tell you something, there have been people who have entered this church with suicidal thoughts. to themselves if I don't receive a word from God I don't know how I'm going to achieve it but they made a mistake and got into trouble.presence of God and they let the power of God fall upon them and when the power of God fell upon them the power of depression had to be released from them the power of anxiety had to be released from them because I know a power that is greater than any other power and sometimes I became like the woman with the issue of blood and I had to make my way into the presence of God because when I press he pulls me when I press he pushes me Psalm 27:13 says I would have fainted if I had not believed I would see the goodness of the Lord on earth. of the living not that I wasn't tired I would have fainted I would have given up I would have been in jail I would have gotten drunk out of my mind but for some reason I didn't let go of what I believed in yes I have to stay connected to the power, some of you have to stay connected with the people, but I have to stay connected to power.

I have to stay connected to the power because what God has called me to do on earth I cannot do without the power of him. Do it without his Spirit, you want to break a generational curse, honey, you're not that bad, but if you mess around and tap into the power, there's no curse in hell, so there's not a demon known to man that won't do it . supports God's purposes in your life, the work says, even if he kills me, the enemy has this silent transition of power and the intention of the silent transition of power is to make you give up access to the presence of God.

I'm thinking about the woman in the garden no one even knows when she went from someone who had Dominion to someone who was subject to the authority of a serpent but there was a silent transition of power but God shows us in that text that you may have flipped the script. about her, but you never changed the script on me and he has a conversation with the woman that allows him to understand that if you stay connected with me despite this unfortunate circumstance, despite this division that we are experiencing, if you stay connected with me I have a way out I have a way out of this someone needs to know that God has a way out of this someone needs to understand that you can't give up on God now I know things aren't going well the way you anticipated but I hear God say don't give up Now because I have a way out of this, you just have to wait and see, I'm not done, you just have to wait and see, I'm not done working.

There is this reality that each of us must face and that is that in a silent transition of power the worst thing we can do is try to create our own sense of security because that is what we do when we no longer feel like we have power, we settle for control and control is a cheap imitation of power because it turns you into God and makes you believe that I can create a sense of security that is better than the The vulnerability required to stay connected to God in this season where my power is in transition does not is that what we see the Hebrew children doing after all in this text is trying to create their own sense of security.

God is so good to me that He's trying to create their own sense of security because what God started in them doesn't seem like they're going to be able to finish it and they've been oppressed for so long that all they can imagine is more oppression, no. more liberation. man, the effects of trauma, the effects of constant disappointment rewire our brains and our expectations to lean more toward what could go wrong than what could go right and these Hebrew children are in this situation when we meet them in the text , when we meet them in the text, they are trying to create their own sense of security instead of abiding in the presence of the Lord and I'm not saying it's you, it's probably the people watching online who have tried to create their own feeling of security saying things like not trusting anyone. leave them before they leave you will never allow yourself to need someone or if I get more money if I get more wealth if I get more education then I will finally feel secure and then you finally get those things and you realize that I don't actually feel more secure.

I just feel isolated and alone because that's what happens when we settle for control instead of trusting in the power of God and these Hebrew children are trying to create their own sense of security because their experience with God's security has left feeling like they're going to lose. I marvel at this because the Hebrew children felt safe enough to start with God, but the reality of how difficult it was going to be caused them to get stuck in the middle when it got difficult, that is where the silent transition of the can. It starts to happen most of the time when a couple goes through a divorce, when the papers are actually filed, it's not actually when the divorce happened that things started to get difficult, they started to withdraw their power because they no longer trusted the person they had been given. the power of loving them the power of creating a life for them there is a silent transition of power the wedding was beautiful but it's that middle part where things start to get difficult that middle part is where you start to trust regaining your trust because when you don't anymore you feel safe, all you can do is try to be in control and that's what we see Hebrew children doing.

That's what we begin to do when God calls us to do something that is more difficult than we anticipate. What we do is we start to regain our trust. God, I'm actually not sure you said what you said. I know I believed it when I started, but if it had been that hard, I don't think you would have signed me up for so much fighting. So I'm going to start getting my confidence back. I came to preach to someone who had begun to regain his confidence in the medium. God, if he'd known it was going to be so hard, I don't think he would have said yes. because I don't think I'm cut out for this and they start to regain their trust without acknowledging that God knew it was going to be difficult when he called you, he just trusted that you would have access to his power, so when you start regaining your power in the midst of this is getting hard you are cutting your own lifeline but i came here to let someone know that your lifeline is still flowing your way it's up to you to get back in position with god i have to do it allow the vulnerability connected with this moment taught me to prepare to show myself who you are when I was studying this text, it was so good for me because it made me realize that the Egyptians were so new that they were so educated in their oppressor.

They knew how well they could beat them, they knew how well they could kill them, they knew how well they could chain them, and they had been studying their enemy for so long that they didn't even give God's New Way a chance. I didn't even take the time to ask myself: I know what my enemy can do, but I still don't know what God can do in my situation and some of us give up because we know the enemy's plans better than God's plans and we let go. Let the enemy take us out of our position.

When God says, if you limit me based on what you think the enemy can do, you will never see the full potential of what your God can do, don't limit me. enemy let me tell you something the enemy only has one or two tricks he is not the Creator he is going to keep hitting you in the same weak spot yes I am inadequate no I don't have what it takes no I don't have everything I need but God still gives me He called anyway and since God still called me anyway, I will be curious to know why God called me and I will be suspicious why you keep trying to get me out of my square every time.

I have enough courage to step forward and do what God has called me to do. Here comes the enemy with the same old tricks. He has nothing new to say. I don't know who needs to hear this, but I want you to understand. Everything the devil can say to you, he has already said, it's time for you to turn down the volume on the enemy and start turning up the volume on the God who called you, the God who sees you, the God who knows you, you can't tell me anything else, no. You can put my past in front of my face I lived it and I came out the other side You can't tell me anything new I didn't have the right background but I'm standing here anyway because he who started a work in me will complete it until the days of Jesus Christ.

I'm going to need them to turn on my monitors. I need a little more heat on the monitors because I don't want to lose my voice in the middle of declaring this word because I feel like someone is about to make a breakthrough in an area where they have felt helpless. I feel like someone is about to get another charge. I feel that there is a wave of Glory that is going to sweep this place and someone is going to begin to move with power again, someone is going to begin to decree and declare to man, as long as the enemy has your ear, he will have your mind and as long as the enemy has your mind, will have your hands. but I hear God saying that if you really want to take your power back you should listen to what I think of you.

I think you are wonderfully and terrifyingly made. I believe that no weapon formed against you will prosper. I believe I will go before you and straighten your crooked path I believe you better start meditating on my word day and night because I have something to say I hear God say I have something to say about your family I have something to say about your finances I have something what to say Speak Lord your servant is listening Speak Lord God I know you heard what the enemy said but you heard what God said God said this is not over God said I didn't leave you here just to leave you here God said I still have work to do do it in yourself God says it's not time for you to retire it's time for you to go up another level without limits there are no barriers advance around you I know you feel like your back is against the wall you may feel like you're surrounded but God says I have another way to get out of this for you I have another way to escape I am still surrounding you well I will be honest with you I know why the Hebrew children do not believe that God can appear in this situation because God showed himself so strong when they were in Egypt that they do not trust that the same God who showed up so powerfully back then somehow you think he ran out of grace somehow you think he ran out of grace power, have you ever had God do something so powerful in your past that you doubt he could do it again? new?

Have you ever been afraid to ask Him to show up in your situation because you've already been better to me than I deserve and because someone else gave up on you and someone ran out of love and someone ran out of energy you think God might run out too and you have more faith in the consistency of the enemy than in the faithfulness of God I understand it by studying the enemy rehearsing his thoughts letting him torment him You let him keep you awake at night over and over telling you how you are going to fail Telling you how you are not going to succeed You studied that devil and at a certain point we have to make the decision to turn our face towards God because the more I hear about the enemy the more I believe what he says but when I make my way into the presence of the Lord he gives me a new song he gives me a new word he gives me a new word give a new revelation God in whom I prophesy this room right now that you would behold a fresh vision I prophesy in this room right now that there would be a new sound in your ears that there would be a new worship released in your ears God, I prophesy right now that the enemy will I would be silent and let your voice be raised I decree and declare that the enemy will be scattered so that you can hear the voice of the Lord again so that you can hear him call your name someone is going to listen again someone is going to be hungry again God I want to know From you I heard anxiety I heard depression I heard the trauma but God what do you say about this I say that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purposes God I have something that I gave and the Hebrew children are about to see what that you are going to see that God never runs out of options, but God never runs out of options, I will create a stream in the desert because I am the creator of options for you.

I can't even see the level. I see that your ways are not mine. Your thoughts are not my thoughts. When I decide it's time for you to get out of this, I'll move hell out of the way to make sure you get through it. I call him God the Creator because he has created a way out of nothing. I call Him Creator God because He defied what the doctor said and healed my body anyway. I call him God the Creator because there is no way for me to be who I am, but he created something new.

Inside I call him God the Creator because he transformed my mind. Can we take 10 seconds and thank God for being God the Creator, yes, creat? God is trying to teach the Hebrew children what they got when they caught Him, not you. take a chance you just felt like you took one this was a calculated risk I knew the end before you said yes I knew the enemy would be on your heels I knew you would be standing in this Red Sea I knew you would feel like I had no other options I knew before you say "move" I love this text because I feel it expresses very succinctly what God gave me when he told me the message "power moves" most people think that power moves is about doing something, but God said For me,no power is fluidity it is a flow and that is why you must stay connected with the holy spirit because what God calls powerful in one season may change in another season and you will be using the power of a previous season in a new season where where not It is power in this season it is destruction and many of us are used to fighting our way through something because doing so worked in one season, the Hebrew children had to move when they were in Egypt, but when they are in this text Moses tells them to stay.

Still, they are thinking to themselves. How can I move again? Maybe I'll go back to Egypt. Maybe I can move. They are used to moving, but this time the power does not move. This time the power is still and seeing the salvation of the Lord. The power of CU is always moving. That was very good for me because it shows me how many of us become religious and just do what God said He did over and over again without consulting God to see if what He did back then is what He is going to do now and where am I going to do it. you need to be in position in the middle of how you are going to move it telling them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord it is not reasonable they are right behind us if we do not move we will be attacked whatever they want to do it is reasonable I want to talk to those of you who disguise your fear with reason.

I want to show you what I learned about God, that sometimes God is going to use you to do something unreasonable and it is going to sound scary to do it. something so unreasonable, but if you reason from what God called you to do, you will be in greater danger than if you had stood where God told you to stand and allowed yourself to do something that seemed unreasonable. Don't know. I know who you are, but all you can do in this season is stay still. I know, I know you don't want to shout about it.

I know this because you think you have options, but your options lead to more oppression, so you have to stay still. A thousand fall on one side and then 10,000 fall on the other side, but what happens when you stay still is that you don't get in the way of how God is going to move, you don't get in the way of the goal because God will make sure The enemies are spread out and I need them to stay still so they don't get caught in the fighting line. I need you to stay planted right where you are because some of you are going to catch your lost enemy. because you were so busy trying to be God that you couldn't let God be God and now you just have to trust God, but to the point of this revelation that God gave me, the Hebrew children have to sit still, yeah, and see the salvation of the Lord, if Moses stands still he will not be able to part the Red Sea, so the power for them is still, perhaps this part of the message is for the other half of the room where the power for you is to use what It's in your hands.

I found this. The text is very interesting because after Moses tells them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, he says that the Lord came to him and said: why do you cry to me? In verse 15 it says and the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to me? you cry to me, but Moses never cried in verse 14, he sounds brave, he tells them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord and what he told them was right, that was their only option, but God must have been able to say that beneath his courage.

For them he himself was afraid, you have a word for everyone else, but God hears the cry that you never let out, you can encourage everyone else and you are right in what you say to them, they need to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord . but that is what God wants you to do the Lord says why are you crying to me in verse 15 he says tell the children of Israel to go ahead but that means continue with what you told them to do go ahead in that direction that you told them right , but you raise your staff and stretch out your hand, there is no time to be still for you.

I don't know who you are, but God says this is the season when you lift up your rod and stretch out your hand. the sea, oh can I break it for you the way God gave it to me? I know that this rod is the same rod when the burning bush that the Lord told him to throw to the ground and it became a serpent and then he picked it up again and it became a rod. He knows that this rod has power because in his secret place with the Lord he saw the power of the rod, but when they go to Egypt and it is time for the now River to change the rod. blood the Lord says tell Aaron to take his rod but God my rod uh-uh tell Aaron to use his rod and the now River that is confusing to me because God you showed me something in my secret place about what I have in my hand but when the time comes to use something that looks like what I have, something you already showed me was blessed and anointed, you choose someone else.

I read it twice because that confused me because it was Aaron's Rod when they were in front of Pharaoh that Moses God told Moses and Aaron and then take Aaron's rod and throw it in front of Pharaoh, but my rod does the same thing as his stick. Has God ever given you confirmation about what you are carrying, but there is no way out? To deliver, have you ever had to sit back and watch God use someone to do exactly what it seemed like He anointed you to do? This part of the text was good for me because it talks about the fluidity of power, but it also talks about the fluidity of power.

For Moses to make a power move speaks to the reality that God has not forgotten what he gave Moses. It speaks to the reality that sometimes God shows you something in secret and even though he makes you see another person use exactly what he gave you. That doesn't mean he forgot what he put in your hand and most of us would have thrown away our staff and said, I guess my staff is of no use. I guess my rod has no power, but I hear God say that someone. in this room you need to go back and take what God said was anointed for this journey because just because God hasn't used it yet doesn't mean you won't make it to the time God says now.

I need you to draw from what I gave you now it's your turn to use that rod to do the impossible God uses Moses' rod in the red sight at a time when it seemed like they were trapped to remind Moses that as the power moves , I want you to understand that there is still power in your hand. I wish I could say this the way I feel it in my spirit, but I feel like God has been putting someone's power in reserve. I didn't want you to waste your power until we were in a situation where your power was the only power that would do the job.

I didn't want you to waste your power. show cadis to your enemies. I didn't want you to waste your power trying to prove the doubters wrong. trying to show your insecurity. evil wanted you to wait to use your power so that no one could get the glory except me so that no one could understand what happened in your life except me and I heard God say don't waste your power don't waste your power Don't waste your power. What I put in your hand still has power. What I put in your hand still has a trailer attached to it.

Don't sleep on what I put in your hand just because I haven't used it yet. It doesn't mean I don't have a strategy for it, it shows us that God's strategy is long term and I'm going to use everything I gave you where you're going, even if it's not where you are, oh. that's good, I have a function for everything I gave you and just because you can't use it all now doesn't mean I don't have a strategy for it later, so God takes the first step and now it's time for them to respond and Moses you do what God tells you to do, we talked a little bit about the power that moves in you, that's what happened with the Hebrew children and what power had to move from that space of fear, that space of worry, doubt, strategy and start listening to God, that's what happens when power moves in you, that's when you claim your power from the enemy, we talked about power moving through you, that's Moses had to make a move, he had faith , but now it was time for him to really do it. a movement but before I go I want to talk about the power that moves for you because in this text when God is orchestrating what his deliverance will be we see the clouds that were ahead of them move behind them and came between the camp of the Egyptians. and the camp of Israel thus was cloud and darkness for one and gave light at night to the other.
