Kyrie Irving speaks on Ramadan

Are you fasting during Ramadan and if so, how does that change your preparation or just how you approach the uh well, all praise to God for this. um, you know, because it's been a lot outside, like I said, there's a lot. of people in other people's affairs all the time, but for me, in terms of my faith and what I believe, you know, being part of the Muslim community, being committed to Islam and also being committed to all races and cultures, religions, just having an understanding and respect, I just want to put that as a foundation.

You know there's such a divisive energy here or it's just been that way in our society. It's so divisive. You know, if you're a Muslim, then you know Christians and Jews and everyone. This I want to get into all of that, but it's just incorporating it into the game. I don't want to, but obviously a lot of people have questions. But yes, I am participating in Ramadan with many of my brothers and sisters, my Muslim brothers. sisters and it's been an adjustment, that's really all I can say, just being very committed to my service to God and then continuing with whatever you guide me in, so I'm happy to be a part of my community and do the right thing . things so fasting is definitely a part of it, obviously, if you know anything about the Muslim community, but yeah, I'm really blessed and grateful to be involved in this.
