The Elite 3 makes all the right first impressions. The case looks almost identical to Jabra's much more expensive models. It still retains that pocketable form factor and the same goes for the buttons; In fact, both the case and buttons are smaller and lighter than the 85t with much improved button controls that, for once, aren't awkward to press when using them. your ears are unusual the

elite

3r ip55 protected against dust and sweat when even the 85 t only has an ipx4 rating without dust protection so it's a nice little level here so the score for the First round will be a 9 out of 10. for construction and design because this is a round that most

More Interesting Facts About,

Buds are usually huge and lack portability, are a poor copy of airpods in terms of design, or just look and feel like cheap bugs for once. I can't say anything like that about the

elite

three in terms of battery life and longevity. We're getting seven hours of playback in a single listening session and 28 hours total if you factor that in. Now, during my real world testing, these figures proved to be quite accurate, but still these figures are nothing mind-blowing at this price, which means they are getting a 7 out of 10 for me, things are also a bit Disappointing here considering other

earbuds

at this price will have

wireless

charging when the elite three don't.

In terms of fit and comfort, I have to say these are the best fitting Jabra earbuds I've tested. First of all, they're incredibly lightweight, meaning your ear tips don't have to do much. lifting heavy objects to keep them safe, they are much less bulky than the 85 tees, although the latter still fit very securely and comfortably, meaning that ear fatigue doesn't set in on the elite three until at least one hour and half. for me, which is pretty good and yes, I can recommend the Elite Three for working out, especially since the earbuds are sweat-resistant as I mentioned.

I'm going to give a nine out of 10 for fit and comfort because if all the headphones fit like this, I would be very happy, but some optional wingtips may have been a little helpful for anyone with larger ears, but overall a thumbs up for me, so here is a microphone test of the

jabra

elite 3. It is quite windy today and there are a lot of cars passing by a lot more than usual, so I hope this is a good test of how the microphone works in a world environment real. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below what I will do now is change.
For the

jabra

85t, now keep in mind that they cost a lot more, so the microphone will be three times better since they are three times more expensive. Well that's mine now and here's the microphone quality of the jabra 85t. Now I actually

review

ed it. This was quite a while ago, so I don't really remember what the microphone quality was like. I'm guessing it will be noticeably better than the Elite Three we just heard because I listened to it again and it didn't sound very good. but I will reserve my final opinion until we get back to the studio and I can tell you which one I think is really the best in terms of microphone quality, so let's make it so that it turns out that paying three times as much is certainly not enough. equates to three times better call quality, making this a surprisingly close round to call, so on the one hand, the 85t makes my voice sound a little duller, but on the other hand, all three Elite then bleed with more background noise, so it's a bit of a trade-off, but considering the price of the Elite Three and how much lower that price is, they certainly managed to deliver incredible mic performance to this one. price, so it will be a 7 out of 10 for my quality with the 85.
Realistically, the set is only about 8 out of 10, certainly not bad from Jabra's first foray into

budget

s. Okay, time to rate the functionality and usability. The Elite Three are off to a great start with the introduction of Bluetooth 5.2 for greater stability. connection and aptx support for streaming higher quality audio files if your device supports it, i.e. if you have an Android device for example, two things that are not always a given in budget businesses, we also have mono mode here, so yeah. You can use either earbud independently, but unlike Jabra's high-end earbuds, there's no multipoint pairing here.
The audiovisual lag for everything from youtube to netflix is obviously almost non-existent, since these apps always fix that audiovisual lag anyway, but you are going to notice considerable lag when playing on smartphones, now there is one thing I should clarify here despite some very confusing inaccurate information on both the Amazon UK listings and us, which has now been changed, these headphones do not have active noise cancellation and the listings literally state that they did it leaving that aside, I have I have to say the main point here is that it's very hard to find budget buddies that don't have an anc at this price and the elite three don't so it's pretty disappointing for what it is.
It's worth listening to as it's decent, although it's nothing special for under 100s. The Jabra companion app allows for very slight customization. We have equalizer precepts and that's it. There are certainly no custom equalizer settings and you can't even customize the button controls. The plus side is that the buttons have volume controls so you can adjust them with a long press. You don't need to manually configure it in the app to have that functionality, but it may not offer much at the moment, but Jabra is known for it. Being very generous with the firmware update, so fingers crossed we may see some of that in the future.
Overall, it will be a 6 out of 10 for functionality and usability based solely on what you get at this price, because at this price. I'd expect to see custom amc EQ settings, customizable touch controls, potentially even a low latency mode too, so there's definitely a lot more Jabra could introduce in the future to spice things up a bit here and score more points. my part, so I said At the beginning of the video I had two big problems with these, so here's the first one before we get to the sound quality. After a week and a half of having these headphones, the left earbud is completely dead, won't charge, won't charge.
They light up when you take them out of the case, it's a tiny corpse of an earphone, again, I've never dropped them, I've never even been out of the house with them that long, the case didn't get hit or anything like that, so the first one What I did obviously was unpair them from my device to try and repair them but guess what you need to long press both buttons on both earbuds to put them back into pairing mode and since one earbud is dead I can't pair them with anything. So I can't even use the proper work bars with anything, so I contacted Jabra customer service, you know, I'm a paying customer and they basically confirmed they were dead.
Here is the last email they sent me. I will be returning the faulty pair shortly because I have already purchased a replacement pair that is currently fully functional, but how long will they be fully functional? Who knows, I tried charging the dead earphone in the new case, still no. It doesn't turn on, so yeah, it's definitely dead. I chose not to mention this issue during one of my review rounds where I rate the headphones because I won't be deducting any points for this in my final rating because I'm hoping for bad luck. it won't affect you, I hope it's just an isolated case, but I still felt like it was definitely something you guys should know before purchasing them as in my opinion that definitely raises questions about the shelf life of these buds just based on my experience here , okay, that's now available.
By the way, let's talk about sound quality, where I found my second big problem. Be sure to follow me on my personal Instagram and Twitter before you get started. I'm planning to go back there this week, so please come. and say hello to let me know you still exist, well here's the second big problem I had with the elite 3. the jabra elite 3 has some of the worst audio hits of all time, yes, of all time, and yes , both are in the pair that died. and on my new pair too, so at least I was able to confirm that that wasn't just a defect on my original unit, it seems to be on all of them and in case you don't know what audio hiss is, it's basically also known as Audio. static and is somewhat comparable to the hiss of an old cassette tape, it is literally a constant, I can't put it better than that long story, in a nutshell, it is quite annoying when I try to evaluate the sound quality and it is Not only is there a bit of Static in the audio, as I've experienced in the past, can actually be as loud as playing at 10 volumes, meaning it's definitely audible at lower volumes during quieter songs and yes, it's on both earbuds, no only in one or the other. the hissing comes on as soon as you turn on the headphones and it stops about 30 seconds after playback ends and as soon as you press play it comes on again and starts hissing like an angry snake but of course I can turn up the volume. my tracks to drown out the hiss because then I can finally start to appreciate the wonderful sound signature that Jabra has really given us.
There's a subtle emphasis on the bass here without being too overpowering, while the mids and highs retain exceptional detail for the price, needless to say, I'm not close to matching or surpassing the 85t, which has overall soundstage and clarity. much better with zero impacts, but the elite three somehow come awfully close, so yes, this is the Jabra sound signature I was hoping for, but certainly not on the road. I wanted so far, I haven't really found any reviews that mention the hiss, but I found a thread on Jabra's Reddit that has been posted by other customers overall because of all that, it will be a 5 out of 10 for sound quality.
The elite 3 suffer with one of the worst cases of audio static I've heard in a long time, if not ever, if the hiss were completely absent it would probably be an 8 out of 10, at least I'll admit that once your ears like it. They get used to it, they just turn off the hiss, so you can live with it, but that doesn't change the fact that you can get the same or better sound quality elsewhere at this price without needing shock. Overall, the Jabra Elite 3 scored 43 out of 60, which is a solid 7.1 out of 10. Overall, the pros are incredibly compact design, great fit, excellent microphone quality, IP55 rated app platforms and a Jabra sound signature at an affordable price.
The cons are We are a little lacking in terms of functionality for this price in late 2021, no amc or custom equalizer settings, some of the worst audio hits I have encountered to date and definitely raised some pretty uncomfortable questions about how long Will these headphones really last? lasts during regular use, there is a lot to like here, but for me the audio hiss is instantly turned off because there is always an option available without it, no matter what the price is, in my opinion, a very respectable audio company like Jabra , which I personally really love, you shouldn't ship products like this, especially when even the cheapest headphones rarely suffer with this problem.
You can check out my other reviews as a great example, so I'm sure you won't be surprised. Listen to that after my experience that you have heard, I cannot recommend these headphones to you at all. I mean, I have a pair that I'm about to return and that says it all, really, and there were so many things I LOVE, which really bothers me about the situation, but what I will say is definitely check out the Soundcore Live P3, which is very similarly priced, offers a very similar sound signature and now they don't hiss likean angry snake.
If you've seen this video, you definitely need to check out my comparison review of the 85t vs 75t and why I ultimately thought the 75t offered better value for money or you can check out the five best budget wireless earbuds you can find. Now choose one of those and see you in the next video.
