Now I'm very excited to drive this Cadillac CT6 because I haven't driven one like this on the canal. I always like to drive cool and interesting vehicles. Well, the hood makes 335 horsepower, which is nothing crazy, however, this is definitely not performance-oriented anything from Cadillac. You could move up to the black wing which of course has the V8 and all that so this is definitely not the high performance version but the 3.6 liter has been installed in many vehicles between cadillac chevy gmc so it is an engine Really functional, it will be quite reliable and I like to hear that, like I said, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the shifts are nice and quiet.

I haven't even noticed the shift, which of course is the best when it comes to transmission. Last but not least the ct6 has all wheel drive so otherwise let's talk about the interior we have a lot to discuss here. Well, in front of me I have a group of half digital, half physical gauges in the center. I have my speedometer and gear on the left, I have my tachometer and fuel range and on the right I have coolant temperature, fuel and a customizable display. Now I will review some of the options. I really like this gauge cluster, it feels fresh and modern even though this car is two years old and I like that on left hand drive vehicles I have my voice commands, cruise control options on the phone. pre-collision warning, lane keep assist and heated steering wheel options, and on the right I have my dials for meter display volume and track skipping, as well as I have paddle shifters in the back and this Car is equipped with the Cadillac Supercruise system that can be used on highways to essentially drive for you; will turn and use radar cruise control for you;

However, it only works on highways that Cadillac has personally mapped and you must keep your eyes forward or else it will disable to the left. I have my electric parking brake and my head up display options very nice, most of the higher level GM vehicles come with head up displays and I really like that feature and in the door I have my power seat down options, I have my power seat down options memory seat and then at the door my power locks, power mirrors and power windows move to the center. I have this really nice widescreen speaker.

Now this vehicle is equipped with 30 speakers. 30 speakers and this is just one of them and as you can see it comes out of the dash when you start the car, I really like that it's unnecessary but cool, now let's stop and talk about this infotainment system, okay first let's talk about infotainment ct6, I really like the screen, quite responsive, almost the same screen as you. I'll get higher trim cadillac escalades and chevys and stuff like that. I have a climate in the back seat that is very, very pleasant. Of course, I can also change it to front climate.

I also have an ionizer that will present a decently pleasant smell. for the vehicle I have a video recorder now, unfortunately it keeps saying the SD card is not present, however I put an SD card in the trunk, maybe it's because there are 64 gigabytes and that might be too big, however, if when I go into the trunk, We'll show pictures here, there's actually a little SD card slot and then you basically have a built in dash cam which is super nice, but speaking of cameras, we can go here, we have our 360 view on the left this is actually a front facing camera facing right and then I can change a bunch of different views now it's a rear facing camera we have more of a fisheye we have all these different camera angles to the which we can go which puts a little ct6 over the camera video, not the best looking one I've seen but it's okay and then I might check both wheels too.

These are my front wheels, as you can see, I'm turning them, there you go, we have backup lines that we could turn on and off and things like that. I have Apple Carplay and Android Auto, as well as Spotify Amazon Alexa integrated. I can go here to my Cadillac, which just syncs with the My Cadillac app on the left. I have my parking sensors and my parallel parking assist, so this vehicle will parallel park if it detects that the opportunity is good and safe, which is really nice and then on the right, I have my kill switch and the glove box button below that.

I get my mute and volume as well as home, these are piano black and you have to touch them and they stain right away. I'm not a big fan of that, but it's not the end of the world and then I get two climate control vents and the climate controls. The dual zone itself is very nice, plus I have heated and ventilated seats and the heated seats I can just warm my back or I can do my back and my butt which is really nice and a lot of

Chevys and Cadillacs do that. We go down to the center console on the left, I have my traction control, automatic holding brake and my mode button, so we have three different driving modes, we have Tour Sport and then snow and ice, which are really nice features, and then we have the shifter.

This shifter feels much better than other GM and Cadillac shifters I've driven. It has this nice leather wrap around the outside, of course park is still just a button, however I think it's presentable and down below I have my selector for the center screen. volume navigation and some hot keys, which is great, but on the right we have cup holders, so we're going to do a big damn bottle test here on the ct6 and unfortunately it doesn't pass the big damn bottle test. I wish it weren't like that, but that's how it is. but here's how it compares to other cadillacs, then moving on to the center console we have this nice center console that can be opened and has a wireless charger for your phone which is fantastic, I love to see that in modern cars , especially today, I forgot my charger at home, so it is beneficial for me, then we have to talk about the seats, the seats have this nice cadillac v logo I definitely like that they are nice and comfortable, they are heated, they are ventilated, they are electrical.

Remember, what more could you ask for from a Cadillac seat? However, speaking of seats, we have rear seats and some interesting things that go along with the rear seats, so let's do a review of the rear seat, in the back of the

sedans the head room is pretty good too i have this little bubble here to increase the headroom and I have my own sunroof here too, down on the center console, I have my own climate controls.

Dual zone climate controls for the rear which is great to see and I can change all that and have my own. Panerai speaker back here I also have a center console. I can open some things here. The cup holders come out like this. Very very cool, very unique and overall the back seats are great. I also have this infotainment in the back seat that I can play with. Wireless HDMI USB shows things like that, which is really cool and I've got some controls up there for that and some controls back here. The rear seats are also heated and I can control the rear sunshade with the push of a button on either door.

Which is also cool, let's go back, we'll take a quick look at the trunk and cargo space and then we'll talk about the looks, so in the back of the all-wheel drive ct6, open the trunk here. It's an electric trunk really like that, but once we're here it's what you'd expect from a Cadillac. It is a large and open trunk, it is a little narrower. I wish it came out a little more, but it's okay, I got it. some cargo nets and things like that and going down here under the floor mat I have a spare tire, it's a donut but a spare tire, however, that's it for this rear trunk, however, I have this button and with one touch goes to the right.

Back off love, that doesn't have to hurt my back now we have to talk about looks and I'm not completely in love with the CT6 in terms of looks, it's not extravagant but that's what this genre of Cadillac was supposed to do. This is just a big, floaty sedan and I have to say the magnetic suspension really helps that and overall the look is very subtle and I think a lot of people really like that, but now let's move on to my final thoughts. I think of the cadillac ct6, well I think it's a fantastic American

luxury

vehicle with almost no rivals.

I mean, there's the Lincoln Continental, but that's almost more

luxury

than this. I don't know, I just feel like this car didn't do it. I don't really have many natural competitors and I talked about this vehicle in the past tense because this 2020 model year was the last model year for the ct6 and with it cadillac no longer offers a normal

full

size

sedan. Yes, they make the black wing ct5. and the ct4 blackwing but those are high performance vehicles and the ct4 is small compared to this one at least so if you want a big sedan from cadillac you should get the high performance version which not everyone wants or needs.

Chevy still produces a sedan as of 2022. That's the Malibu, but it's already written and it won't last much longer, so I'll close this video with a little montage of the large full-size Cadillac sedans that I've reviewed in the past, no, no, no, you.
