in London, it's the time of year where there are tons. of cars that have come from the Middle East, cars from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, you name it, we're going to go find them, a little bit of vintage car

spotting

where it started here on the shmion50 channel and we. I'm going to take the hub a little crazy, you could argue for the purpose, but I haven't driven the hub much this year for a few reasons I need to explain first and when it will be fully ready to go. for a proper longer distance trip, but I think it will be a pretty fun way to drive around a center and go see what we can find in London today.

I haven't driven downtown for what seems like ages about six weeks ago. I took it to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, it was transported there and then transported back, but in recent months I haven't been behind the wheel for reasons I'll explain in a second or two before some quick updates from here. At this museum, given how long I've been talking about doing this, we now have the full run of the bendpak autostacker a6w car lifts, having installed three more to complement the four we already had here, meaning we can have 14 cars stacked against this wall. and on 15 in a small gap towards the end which is awesome I know what you're thinking there aren't many cars here right now which will tie into what's going on with downtown too last time we did it .

I went for a bit of car shopping in central London with my SF90 Stradale, which is very much an everyday supercar and I still absolutely enjoy it on every possible outing, but what about this? So if you've noticed recently that cars tend to shoot up for anything. It seems like they've been absent for a long time because the parts shortage right now is a very big problem when it comes to cars like the Ford GT, SLS Black Series, and 675 LT Spyder. Now also, if they need something, it takes them a long time. It's time to get it, so what's wrong with the center?

Well, it had a little problem with the suspension system, which effectively meant it needed two new actuators and two new shock absorbers. We managed to get the actuators, which means we're able to drive again in some way, although you have to take it very carefully, so it's not possible to go right now and do a track day or a long road trip or anything. of that, but traveling from here to central London and back shouldn't be too much. It's a big problem, unfortunately it's something that happened after basically letting it sit for too long. I think that's part and parcel of all of this.

McLaren is trying to get those parts, but it's a very, very long process that I'm trying to work through. Figure out what to do with it, so that's the long story, but I want to get it out because I want to drive it, it's been too long and if you leave these things sitting around too long waiting for one little problem, you're going to get another one. small problem and it is better to avoid all that and as you know, as we often talk on the museum channel, it is very important to take out all the cars and we try to do it at most every two months, preferably every month or then each car comes out for something like that that today is the center's turn and I did a little poll on social media between the center and the sto but I had the sto out just two or three weeks ago today's election so it's the center so let me unplug the smart charger from text, let me get it ready to go and we'll take out the center and go see what we can find in central London while we go out for a walk.

It all came down to Goodwood, so the accumulators were sorted out.
