ANGEL ORNAMENTS DIY USING DOLLAR TREE ITEMS

time. start working with it trust me it's going to get better so now we're going to stick a little bit of that right there on the sides and I'll probably add a few more curls here when we're done and now you want to pick up your little perch so we can keep it on the top, pull down towards the front so we can cover some of this back, so now we're just going to take a little bit of glue, just squeeze it. the back of your head push down a little bit more of this little hair and then I'm going to add a little bit more here so let me grab some of these little curls here and wrap them around my hand there we go and then we're just going to add that back here just to give it a nice full head and then we'll just keep pushing it down into the glue and then it'll still look like a crazy mess, but it'll be okay, I promise.

I want to have my nice curls here in the front and then we're going to trim a lot of these now that it's attached, give it a little haircut carefully, don't cut your perch needs a little more. here okay, let's bring this to the front here, let's cut our hair a little bit here so it's all nice and even sorry, I keep zooming this in to see what I'm doing, hopefully I haven't gone too far. See all right so now I have some of these leftover things that I just cut off and I want to fill in here it's a little thin take that and put it there and there's her crazy hair yeah it would be better if I could find the right kind of hair for this, but I didn't feel like going out and looking for more since I have a lot of this stuff, this is very thick here, so let's take some of that away, come on.

Okay, there's her hair, let it hang over your face, there we go, this is what her hair is going to look like in the front and now she's going to get her little Halo, for that what I used was I can still add a few more curls here , but I can do it later because that's what I did, as you can see here where I added to make them look more curly and not as curly. I had to do that with all of them, but it's easier to do once you have everything. Done and you're not going to play with it anymore, so I'm going to try to leave a couple pieces of this here so I can do it at the end, so let me put the rest of this hair back in this bag. now what I used for most of these things, I actually got it from one of the

decorations, I think this was on I mean it was on a pumpkin or pine cone, one of the two you know how I have them framed with all the shiny material wrapped around them so I took it all off and put it away and this worked perfectly for this so you're going to make a loop just see how it looks and then just cut it out weird, twist it or so and there you have it, you've got your little Halo and then we're going to add a little bit of glue to the front here and then we're going to have to attach our hanger to go up there, which I probably should have done before to put the glue on, but anyway, here we go, yeah, I stuck my finger right in it to make it go up and then you're going to place it where you want and I like it to stay. goes through the hair, there's your little Halo, but stop sticking it on my fingers, okay, let me get this out of the way too, okay, and then you can turn around, I hope, because I just stuck it right on my hair, um, so you can just go around and pin it in different places and then I'm going to pin it over here as well.

There are your little Halo glue webs, but there's a little Halo sticking out on top, right now for your little wings. Halo's back could have been a little bigger, her hair is too much, let's trim it a little more here, it just looks a little bushy on the side, oops, there we go, but we'll worry about it until the end, okay, so we have we have her hair on, we have her dress and her Halo now, so now we have to make her wings. I think I'm going to use another piece of this because this is really pretty, let me cut it out, so now it's even weird for this.

Little thing here, I take 12 inches, I just take my ruler, I measure it up to here and then I cut it to 12 inches and these are going to be your little wings, so you're going to fold that piece in half to 12 inches and again. This is all two and a half inch tape, move these guys back a little bit and then you're going to put a line of glue down the center and take one end there, fold it over and glue it and I'm going to put another little line of glue here and take the other end and then glue it in the center as well so that all the center lines disappear on this tape pipe cleaner.

You can also use them for Halos if you don't. you have the other things, you can use the pipe cleaners, these things I used in one of these, it's like a different kind of gold color, it's not exactly right, but I make like three folds here like one, two, three, you know, something like that. like you fold it like a fan and then you take your pipe cleaner and you wrap it up, you twist it a few times, you cut it and fold it, then I try to flatten it out a little bit. I still have this thing covered up. is happening but otherwise I feel pretty good now that I'm getting rid of this virus but it's just this persistent clogged ear mainly that's driving me crazy so it seems like a little bow tie so I'm going to get a nice big amount of glue back here, oops, I need a little bit more glue like here on the other side, about an inch wide of the glue and then you're going to turn your little

angel

and put this right on the back like this and then type If you want to go around the front, make sure you have it right and even then, that's going to stick back there.

I'm going to hold it for a couple of seconds here and then we're going to fluff this all up once the glue cools. They'll look cute and you know, puffed up like these little

angel

wings. I really like this checkered pattern here. I think it looks great if you're more into country type things, which are really pretty. In fact, you could use some jute twine to make a bow on this one too, okay, so that's it, so now all you have to do is figure out what you want to use to decorate this thing. Now I have all kinds of things here.

I've been

using

one of these, um, what do you call these frosted Greenery from Dollar Tree and I just cut off pieces of this because it's so pretty. Make sure my glue cools well in there, um and you don't need much because these guys so small, so I just want to find it. I want a nice frosting one here, let me get it out of there. I just took my scissors and cut off some of these little pieces because these little ones are so small that you don't need a lot, um, you could make several just with one of these little pieces of greenery, so these are very inexpensive little things to make, come on, we have, we have some greenery, um, I have some berries here, these were berries that I picked up at Dollar Tree.

The other day, um, I also got some of these little beaded pearl things. I don't know where I got these things from. It's very small, it's like something opalescent, but you can find things like this at Michael's or whatever. I can add a piece of this also let me cut a piece of this because I think it will look nice here and I think I want to grab a piece of jute rope so hold on I'll be right back okay I grabbed the ball of this jute rope here this it's also from Dollar Tree almost everything here is from Dollar Tree except for this, the hair, I think, and the paint and then any decorations you want to use.

I don't know how many of these, maybe I'll just make a double bow, so I'm just going to take a piece of this, fold it in half and cut it here and let's make a little bow with this, make this one more country glam, here we go , you can use whatever you want. so many pretty ribbons, actually these other ones I made here are these pretty

ornaments

that you get from Dollar Tree that they have now, they have all different types, they have them in silver and gold, yeah I use the silver one here. It also makes a really pretty bow and uh uses there's a gold trim on this one.

I just used a little bit of ribbon that had a little ribbon on it, but we're going to make this little bow right here, oh, come on, come on, come on good enough. Okay, let me trim that down a little bit. These scissors don't want to work. I have glue and everything else stuck to them. I need to clean them well. Well, I think we'll be able to trim them better when we're done. that'll be fine there yeah ma'am that's fine, but before we put this on, I'm going to glue some of these green ones on, we're just going to hook everything on the back of these little bows, how do you want to glue them on? get out of there a little bit like this and then put one on the other side and you don't need a lot of glue or anything for this part yeah that one looks really nice and frosty there I think it looks pretty and then I think I want to add these little ones beads to hang too, they are fun.

I used to put them on my other Bell angels that I used to make. I'll tell you what those little ones were like, these little angels and things like this, as my number one seller. When I used to do craft shows, I hadn't done them in probably I don't know 15 years, maybe it just got too old. I mean, it's fun, but you know, after doing something like 50 times, you really just don't want to do it. make them more, so that's why I stopped doing craft shows, it became very monotonous, it was very time consuming, plus I worked full time and did that kind of thing on the weekends, ah, let it go, oh, I wonder yeah a snowflake looks cute on this I have some of these little snowflakes from AliExpress um those little plastic snowflakes I use these all the time I think they would look lovely on this bow um Dollar Tree if I hadn't seen them still this year but they had the really pretty Snowflakes that came out last year too that you can use for decorations.

I don't think I have any of those here. I used them the other day anyway, we'll use this one, but they're more like a glass. snowflake the ones Dollar Tree had I was just looking, I had some here but anyway we're going to add that little snowflake there and then we're going to put some glue here and stick this right under her neckline there and Then she It has this pretty one. I'm going to cut it out. She's too small, but she looks how cute. Alright. Let me cut it out. They are a little long. There we go, but like I said, you can add whatever you want. to these, but this is how I make these little angels.

The only thing left to do here now is just open up the wings and they look really pretty and you see how these things come off when you work with them, but it kind of stops doing that, so yeah, just stick your fingers in there and just those little wings up and voila, we've got our tiniest little country glamour, a little angel with her little Jingle Bells, but that's it, that's how I did it all. Of these, I think I'm done with the hair, it looks good, like I said, once you put it all in there, play with it and trim it, it doesn't look like a big mess anymore, it just looks curly. hair that I can identify with curly hair, but anyway that's it.
