was just released. This is a completely blind viewing, uh, we'll watch it together right now. I haven't seen it and we're going to react and then give some ideas and see if that's the case. It's going to be terrible if it's going to be amazing from the

, let's just put a fire breathing dragon on it, this looks a lot like a lich, but in the next scene we see a bunch of them scattered in a line, so this is a lich that is using the infinite mage combo from my first d d short or much more likely uh this is some kind of undead army that the main villain is summoning so it looks like they could be the main ones. some sort of ground force attack on an army of undead lich mages this spell that's happening right here absolutely looks like d's slow spell that's a real spell where everything slows down it's a really cool representation of that effect because it's an effect error I think this looks amazing, I know they're overlaying it with the scenery here, but my god this movie looks beautiful.

I'm so glad they filmed on location and not just on a green screen. Everything about it looks fantastic. the woman is absolutely a barbarian uh 100 this cgi is just fantastic um and I'm going to be that guy and say technically druids can't turn into owlbears because they can turn into beasts and owlbears are monstrosities but because I know someone in the comments was going to be like that so I decided that would be the last hole and just point out that 0 out of 5 stars the movie is ruined um look into Hollywood that's a joke btw I literally don't care.

I think it looks cool, so to me it looks like a silver dragon or possibly even a gold dragon that has those gold flecks on its wings. I'm not sure what this spell is here where she teleports. um, it looks a bit similar. dimensional door because there is a person doing it and it's like through a door so that would be my guess but I'm not sure if the green flame blade can be fired in action. It looks really good, so it looks like someone is shooting right now. a fire bolt, you might think it's a fire bolt because he's casting his shield, so if we were, if they were treating this as a real mechanic, right, you can't shield a fireball spell, but this doesn't seem like it. a fireball because it is sent out as a jet of flames so it looks like a fire beam spell that is using shields to block which is cool of course its a knock off maybe the most iconic d d monster suddenly up there.

I love that you just Dive into a gelatinous cube to avoid a displacer beast. That's funny. The gelatinous cubes are also very dangerous, but I think it's a bit of a funny image. I'm so glad they put that in so it looks like this guy is shooting a frost ray. every once in a while the evil lich wizard is misty walking away from the owlbear those are two spells also very common on evaders and dragons again from the look of this dragon I'm pretty sure it must be a red dragon because it's breathing fire and it's like a volcano, it may not be because it doesn't look that red, but I really like that each dragon they've shown in this trailer has a very different vibe, they haven't just taken a dragon design and changed the color and called it a dragon completely different.

They all feel like they are their own real species. It's interesting that he's definitely a bad character, but they're all

thieves

. It doesn't seem like any of them are really rogues, which is kind of interesting. um, although I think I heard that Hugh Grant's character is a rogue, I heard that song, I think I saw it on Tik Tok, so maybe that's it, maybe he's the main bad guy, uh, manipulating things behind the scenes , I think it will. good job the cast looks great seems fun i guess it'll be like a 12a in america i guess you'd call it pg-13 so i think the biggest risk when approaching material like

dungeons

and dragons like this is that you lean too much towards the comedy and they just have a bunch of B-level jokes that just fall flat and we're sitting in the theater like we're rolling our eyes the whole time, I think that's a risk.

A second risk is that you try to be too serious and it just turns into a total disaster because d and d is a high fantasy, so if you're going to take it seriously you need to get it exactly right in a way that The Lord of the Rings didn't. like the hobbit movies did, um, because if you get it even a little wrong, it's just impossible to take it seriously, so it seems like they're aiming for that middle ground where it's self-aware, it's fun, there will be references. but nothing too intense for newcomers because obviously they want this movie to appeal to everyone, right, they want everyone in, they don't want just the fans to come see it, they want the general public to come, so it looks like Let's Punch very strongly to recognizable figures, as imitators, such as owls, bears, displacing beasts, dragons.

I'm surprised we didn't see a spectator, but I guess they just wouldn't be in this, um, if we didn't. See it in the trailer, viewers or mind flayers. I was hoping that something really iconic d d law would be here, which I guess the imitation is that it's the great masterpiece of it, so I'm going to give two predictions right now, first of all, this is not.
