Westworld: Christina, FINAL THOUGHTS

Mar 12, 2024
On to the analysis, welcome everyone, today we are discussing Westworld season 4 and my

final

thoughts

on Christina. Please note that this video will be released before episode 7 and I believe it will reveal most of the plot surrounding Christina, leaving us to sit and think. about the reveal until the season

final

e next week, so the time in which this video will have practical application in the theory-crafting community will definitely be short-lived, but I still want to say that this is what it's about, so Let's think too much of an HBO show about robots, so from episode 1 it seems like Christina lives in a disjointed timeline that relates to the main timeline, but in some significant way it's not as simple as it seems.
westworld christina final thoughts
It feels like something more than just Christina is living in reality. current world of the timeline with hale at the helm and she is the host in charge of writing the npc stories, it is very possible that the show runners have done a good job of shaping that narrative and the show runners have also I've done a good job of creating a world where there could theoretically be a dozen different things happening and they all make sense within the scope of this show, but this video will document the markers of his story and I'll try to tie it back to Hale and the stories of other characters.

More Interesting Facts About,

westworld christina final thoughts...

To see where and perhaps more importantly when this story is objectively happening at the end of this video, I think you'll find that most of these markers point to this being Hale's master plan, but we'll talk about that later, how do we know that is? It doesn't happen at the same time as everything else, in episode 6 fidelity, we see Caleb being tested with Hale trying to get him to reveal his atypical ways and ultimately being observed in an environment where, like the park

westworld

, he would behave believing he was truly free to act and behave as he wanted without anyone watching, however, Hale was watching a lot and I think she may be watching Christina in a very similar way.
westworld christina final thoughts
I think it's also possible that Bernard has also been watching Christina and as we move forward. Through these steps I mention an observer because in many ways it could be a plot for the protagonists or it could be a plot for the antagonists. Christina's sequences in the first six episodes add up to almost exactly one hour of screen time, like um until the end. second, uh, and I got all of that by editing them together and realizing that I just created my own episode of

westworld

christina

, unfortunately I can't show it here on youtube because, while this is completely transformative of the source material and I think it's fair use and , ultimately it could be argued as such, unfortunately I don't have billions of dollars to argue that with Warner Brothers, so here we are with you as a consumer who cannot enjoy certain freedoms on the Internet because of our laws.
westworld christina final thoughts
They were painted with a very broad brush, which I think is exactly what Hale has done and is why he needs Christina to paint another picture for her hail. She set up all her paintings, took out her easel, turned off Bob Ross, and began painting a world she only considered her lens of reality, leading to this being a perfectly curated portrait of the world for her, ultimately something which he loved deeply and wanted to show it to his friends and family and, instead of hanging it on the refrigerator door, he finally realized that he had stolen all the paintings and that he was the only person who could paint a picture of the world as he had. made.
Everyone wants the freedom to create and although she loved what she had created, others didn't care. so we see this with the drama of william questioning if she had any part in the creation of this world or if it was simply the sum total of her code designed by hale in such a way that she always feels destined to help her like him. she never has her own agency to create something she finds beautiful, which is exactly the case, it was undoubtedly created out of the hatred that helloros felt for william and became a kind of pet for her and although she certainly has power to From the humans perspective, he certainly has no power from the hail perspective and I think that's what it's all about.
Hale believed that she was giving birth to children with a process that is still vaguely defined and you are all copies of me. Anyway, what does it matter if I make more copies of myself? This feels wrong, like there is some fundamental problem with that thought and it could lead to a lot of bad things and I think the reason we don't see the creation process yet is because this is exactly what the big reveal will relate to during This whole season, it could be exploring what it really means for the hosts to come into the world without being positioned by their creators or limited by their creators to live within their code and them always wondering if they are who they are because of how they were created or for what they were originally created, you know, it's like this little Rick and Morty robot, like what's my purpose and he's like, oh gosh, he's like a sentient being that's like ultimately.
Realizing they are only here to serve butter. However, the argument against that point is also equally interesting to me, as humans we have come into this world and constantly ask ourselves if who we are is because of how we were created. That feels like something inescapable. as william in bondage talks to host william about exactly this and I have little doubt that while hale may be trying to create beings that can truly feel free to be whoever they are, it may be more beneficial to lean into the idea, but never mind . that we are not slaves to our code period, we have agency and bodily autonomy to be and act as we want and even if it were possible to observe how we will act and behave just as Rehoboam did, it is still entirely up to us if we host. or if we are humans, we are in charge of our destiny and hail must stop forcing the world to live in the painting she has created, where she is in charge not only of her destiny but of everyone's destiny, so my theory is that Christina is simply Like Caleb, Hale is using Caleb to understand something fundamentally wrong about the picture she has created of the world.
Like Caleb, this could be showing a lot of constructs of Christina that have existed before she went through some sort of ordeal with Caleb, you know, being the human. An outlier and the big reveal was that there was no virus, there was no plague of humanity causing the hosts to take their own lives, it was the fact that she was forcing others to live within her lens of reality, so , what could I gain by taking a good look at Christina? I think the first thing we have to prove is that she is being watched from the first conversation we have with Christina.
She is given a choice immediately. The first thing she is observed doing is choosing white or black shoes. Since the beginning of this show it has been an allegory of good or evil, she chooses the target, which means that to the observer of this world, whether metaphorically or literally, they see it as a good pains, the kind of pains that choose to see the beauty of the world. the one who wakes up and sees that you know the good, then of course we have his job where he writes these stories of humanity and the boss who wants him to write those stories in the worst possible way, this is one of the most uncertain parts for me because it could be a few different things, but I think this is metaphorically Hale putting Christina in her place so she can see what the good version of Dolores would do once she finds out she has complete control over these people and the world. around her holorus was writing those stories for humans as shown on a smaller scale with the government agent and the senator's wife and it could well be as simple as Hale founded a company that needs to write bad stories for humanity for some reason when all of the hosts seem to have control over the humans around them um or it could be metaphorical and this job doesn't actually exist but maybe it parallels hail's control over humanity um maybe again it feels like this is probably a real work, but again It could just be metaphorical, like Christina is writing the history of humanity in the worst possible way, but even from the beginning we are seeing that she wants to write a more optimistic and positive story.
I wonder if this isn't showing the observer of Christina's world that she is again more positive, more optimistic, um and doesn't want the end of all humanity or for all humanity to suffer like Hale currently does and when Christina realizes Realizes that she literally controls the world, we'll see how she reacts to that as does Hale. She now has to decide what to do, knowing full well that she has total control of the world. Then we hear her say that there should be more to life and he says that she just hasn't found the right man, but now this is it, of course. she's meant to highlight that men are pigs, but more than anything she's meant to show that her journey doesn't need validation from an outside source; what she seeks comes from within; it is about introspection about the decisions she will make and to which she refers.
The world is broken and there is something inherently wrong that needs to be fixed. I attribute it to her having some underlying feeling that something is wrong right now and that is that the world is under her control to some observable degree and we see her influence, I think it manifests itself in more ways than just her conscious attempts to change. things, I think from the beginning she's been manifesting a lot of the things she's been going through, but we'll talk about that a little later, now we approach her in the bathroom, right before she's going through the ceiling that looks like the cells from the opening credits and the bathroom tiles that look the same now that we have the loyalty episode with caleb.
I think these cells are James Delos-style containers and she is possibly just one of them. many

christina

s that have existed before her or one of the many christinas that are being tested as part of this huge variety of test cells and maybe we are only seeing the one that passes the test, the mirrors in her story are also everywhere , which was one One of the biggest reasons I think Hale could be her spotter is that we knew she was using the mirrors to scan and monitor humans, but this could very well be a red herring. Mirrors throughout the series have been used to highlight someone who questions nature. of her reality and this could apply to any observer who is trying to observe whether Dolores makes the right decision that would prove that she is objectively a good person or whatever reason they are monitoring her, questioning reality is part of awakening. process and that awakening process is ultimately what is happening to Christina until she sees that she is controlling this world as soon as Christina starts to question her reality after that long pause in the mirror, as if it were given He realizes at that moment that something is done, he receives a call from Peter.
Now Peter's involvement is quite confusing. I think Peter is meant to show us the first-person perspective of the people he is harming in his position of power. However, we have some oddities to consider if this is so. Really, the world in which Hale was actively expressing her power, Peter would undoubtedly be considered an outlier and would surely have been tracked down and killed like we've seen with all the other outliers. He's as out of his loop as possible. get and we don't see the world stop around him um you know reveal that he is off his assigned path if Hale was in active control and wanted to express his power like he did previously the night he attacked Christina would have been over . very very different uh he would have been missing but of course he wasn't allowed to live teddy I guess giving him a stern talking to I just don't think that's the case there's something fundamentally wrong here it feels like um This was a test to see how he dealt with the adversity and seeing some of the worst that humanity has to offer and in the end, after being attacked, she doesn't come to hate this person, she wants to understand how she could have helped. he, um, and I think that's what this is about, right, she's objectively good, how can someone be so broken as to beg for help from her while actively making her feel like her life is in danger and openly under attack, believe. that peter is just another way of testing how she sees the people around her and in this case she sees him as a person with autonomy to do as he pleases but ultimately someone who is suffering feels empathy compassion and more than anything not.
You seem to know that she sees him as a monster that needs to be eliminated, but as someone who really needs help, which I think will be the positive pro-human side of this equation. Robots wanting to save the day will probably think so. Same kind of thing, humanity from Akichita's perspective is fundamentally brokenor defective, but maybe with a helping hand it can be better than that than what we currently are. In short, we are dogs and someone needs to come and teach or train us how to do it. worry about each other and our mental health and you know, do whatever it takes to teach someone how to be a good human being.
The night Christina is attacked is directly after receiving a call from Maya saying she wouldn't be home. night, which feels so convenient since Teddy can save the day by being the only one there to hear her cries tonight. The disappearing act of both of them also makes me think that she may have some influence over more than just the humans of this world seem to be in trouble. He turns around looking for people who can help and then of course he gets into this car that's carrying two people and then he turns around and they're gone, this could be explained in an almost infinite variety of Westworld related things, um, so I'm not really sure, I think Peter's overall purpose is to give Christina obstacles to overcome so that she can be observed in these different scenarios, but also to open her eyes to the very real power that she has, whatever form that may take.
This world exists, because you need to realize that you have this position of power and you need to see explicitly what that position of power is doing. for the people you know she rules the next morning she wakes up Peter takes his life again doing very public things that would have been caught by the game Hale created to catch outliers and the next Christina scene we get is here at the end of episode 1 with christina starting a new story in which a nameless girl searches for something unknown due to a void in her life that points to something deep inside her something that when she finds it everything will make sense a story with a happy ending This feels like a very strange way that, you know, it could directly tell us that Christina is manifesting her own plan to awaken because we know that she has control over the others in her world, and we don't, but no.
I still don't know the extent of that power. Christina is the optimist who lives inside a world that would have her believe that those stories with happy endings are something no one would want, and yet she still wants to see that story with happy endings at the last minute. The information to consider in episode one is the episode title omens, which again means a sign of what is to come. An auger is someone who would monitor the world or, you know, like an omen and make predictions from her findings, I think. Christina is the world they are monitoring and Auger is the observer I have been talking about, which I still think is very likely Hail, but something tells me and I don't want to completely rule out that it could be Bernard or Maeve or William, a The next morning, he wakes up in episode 2, again we have this wild shot of them in the kitchen that could only have been created with the cinematographer well pointing the camera at the mirror, allowing him to distort and create a less image. perfect so that we have multiple Christinas instead of, you know, just pointing to the kitchen also before, when we see Christina, they are filming her from the outside of her house through these windows again from the outside, like again, this conversation must have been hey, we need it, we need it. to feel like she's being watched so let's use this shot that subtly shows that we're spying on her privacy in her house while she's unsuspecting, I mean come on the signs of this are here if it's not this and if she's not being watched , I generally don't know what all these injections would be used for now, let's talk about Maya, ultimately Maya is involved in some observable way, uh, she's the one who sends Christina to the mental health facility by randomly mentioning it like her friend is talking about the trauma she has because her attacker took his own life and she shows up out of nowhere with: hey, this is her obituary, which weird, weird response, weird, weird response, um Christina talks about writing her story and Maya ignores it . completely and says that he was still certifiable, which I think is the point she doesn't care that Christina is writing this story, the most important thing is that he is sick and Christina, you know, needs to look at that and needs to understand what do. to do with that situation too while we are on the subject of maya, her name literally means the supernatural power wielded by gods and demons to produce illusions like, come on, maya is the conduit to help test and study Christina, she is also the person who gives Christina to him. this lipstick which then becomes what she drops for Teddy.
Mirroring uh Delores dropping her can just like she did in Westworld uh the camera angles when Christina walks to work could also highlight that she is being watched and then we cut to Christina talking to the man who was ranting about the tower. This may also be a little difficult for me to explain, but there are some anomalies in her behavior. Christina stops and shows genuine interest in her story and he doesn't even look. To her, she's meant to make it seem like he's just a crazy person who wants to rant and rave, but we know he's able to get people involved because he talks to the person who kills him.
I think this observation equation represents an outlier. and maybe Hale is studying to see exactly how she, uh, Dolores calls herself, is affected when she interacts with him, like maybe she's trying to figure out why the hosts are still taking their own lives by putting themselves in that situation afterward. of everything, if you want something. done right do it yourself it's very strange to me that he doesn't actually respond but I think this can be explained by Hale not knowing how he would actually respond in this interaction because again he is an outlier he is literally the anomaly that she would respond.
I don't understand, you know how I would have spoken to him or responded to him, so she gives him the appearance of what she considered him to be behaving, since you know the person sitting here is just being a lunatic and is not the true image of this person. , so she walks. away believing that he is just a lunatic and we see him no longer participating in any activities, no longer shouting about what he was just shouting about, as if he were a video game character that no longer needed to be represented by the player, I think. that if this is the real world, maybe she's just seeing it while the rest of the world isn't.
Also, this guy will always be funny to me because she literally feels like she was told to do this because it shows the observant viewer that she is being watched by someone again in a world of people they would otherwise not care about. It matters, you know, otherwise they would just ignore each other and go about their business, he or someone is figuratively looking at the dead birds, they are quite interesting to me still, um, I think. that maybe they are just another push for Christina to question her reality or continue with the plot um you know don't go to work today uh the next time we see her will be when she's in the car going to the hope center for mental health patients, listen to the story he wrote for p myers and then his boss because his boss is another anomalous equation because he feels like he actively prevents him from questioning the world at times like maybe it needs to be done in an exact way or maybe he represents the views Hale's contradictory statements or maybe his character just represents the bad parts of humanity like zero, you know, the four day sickness, being a reality for most people and hopefully this will make him realize how damaged that humanity is. would create a system that would normalize the abuse of our minds for the sake of big business or progress when she arrives at the hope center for mental health we see the blueprints of this new building, I think this hints that something metaphorical is happening, such We worry about mental health for the sake of progress or just building more condos, but what I do want to point out is that the construction crew left when Christina wanted to explore this place.
Were they showing us the power of her before she really revealed herself? The wing is dedicated to Peter, which could be something else that doesn't really exist, but it seems like maybe part of Christina's evidence. If I'm honest, it doesn't seem like it's true. It seems like this is maybe part of the equation that I just don't have an answer for Peter Myers was a real person, so maybe the Peter Myers who attacked and harassed Christina wasn't really real, like she was just seeing this happened and that could perhaps also explain how they instantly disappeared afterwards. the attack, I think it's possible, but I think this part confuses me the most. um, I think it relates to Christina's evidence and observation, but I'm not sure where this is happening outside of those two less certain theories, the drawings of. the tower made by different people and the fact that jay and his brother were outliers and caleb and frankie were outliers indicates that outliers can affect the people around them, probably by simply questioning their reality more openly and then by Of course, you know the people around them. they learn and see that and of course do the same.
She calls Maya to discuss this and ultimately gets some comfort from a friend and sure enough, Maya immediately just wants to know what Christina's

thoughts

and understanding are on the matter, which again is, you know? It's important to watch next time we see Christina in episode four with the world reigning and her room and the painting in disarray ruined by this big black tower. This scene reminded me of the men in black, when they were the aliens they were. trying to save I cried, she made the world or the city cry and ultimately I think that's metaphorical for pains in creating this world, this image of the world, and it reflects exactly what she wants or what she's going through, because You know, showing how much power and control he has over this image of Mayan reality tells the story of how the flies took over his family, which frames this timeline as we know Hale started out as children and is now 28-28. years. 34 assuming that's not a lie uh and I guess in a very gentle way we have a timeline marker worth considering this again could be a story provided to Christina so she has some backstory for when she inevitably finds out about that he's able to control humans like um this will already be in the back of his mind as a way for that to be possible because again I think he's going to have to learn that that's exactly how he has the power and then we'll go out the night that they talk , maya uses the same lipstick she gave her the other night and then fumbles with it so teddy can pick it up and yes i mean something all i know is at this point maya is connected to teddy this look here It just doesn't feel. like the most genuine look, like maybe maya is forced to do this and maybe internally she is trying to scream that something is wrong here but she can't, just like the couple couldn't move when she was sitting waiting for the conversation by William Teddy. it's literally just begging you to step out of your circle and question your reality and how the things that feel most real in this world you're in are just stories we tell ourselves that are so powerful like please just wake up , pains, it's the vibe. from this interaction Teddy again is absolutely at risk right now uh we guys need to be such calm guys and they're okay I believe in us we've got this.
Christina wakes up in episode five still facing sunlight in pain. would and oh my god if that wasn't perfect foreshadowing maya then says how glad she was to be in the real world and christina says she responds to that um hey sometimes what feels the most real They're just stories we tell ourselves like, oh, she's a lot. starting now to question her reality and openly telling us that this is not the real world, it's so good, I mean, oh, this writing is so good, then we go back to Christina at her work literally wanting to start recreating her story, the story of Dolores Abernathy She is literally creating herself It's magnificent but then this interaction stops uh it leads to her being talked about as the Judas ox which I think points to her being the person meant to guide these people um like this it's hail trying again to understand figuring out how to lead these people or the best version of herself that could lead these people and again the urgency of why she was threatened here is because it's so important to that fact she's saved by the bell that It could be in some way, something that she also expressed as if she wanted it to happen because, just as she wanted the humans to act on the other side of the pond, she wanted to get out of this scenario and Teddy calls just in time, they meet on the bridge and Teddy continues. to boost youragenda to wake Christina up, it's so intense that it feels like this could be Hale pushing this because he's so aggressive, but I'm not sure she needs these pains to wake up for some urgent reason or that anyone needs these pains to wake up. for some urgent reason we see her manipulating people across the pond and this shows how much control she has over the world and hale and bernard or bernard could watch this to see exactly what the better version of dolors is going to do now that she has this power, the scene changes and they sit and talk to uh Teddy, as if to say that you should continue on this path and a hail tells her that she would like to have lunch, which may be a call to action on her part as her.
Will about Christina as host, you know, again, maybe expressing this hierarchy that could exist or it could be someone else who wants to look at this scenario that we have yet to consider, who maybe wants to see the best and worst versions of pains. upon meeting william, i think it's very possible that william, who may be running away from hale, is actually recreating the girl he fell in love with all those years ago, perhaps wanting some final redemption, one last moment to apologize, ask sorry for what he's done, you know, to show that he really values her as an equal and then I don't know, maybe alter dolors and alter william will live happily ever after, but again it may be more a matter of respect.
To acknowledge your existence as it is now, I think that would be a wild turn and turn William into the redeemable robot man we always knew he could be, but I'm not so sure Hill feels like the all-powerful being who could be controlling everything. this plot, but for its overall benefit, the interrogation seems to force Christina to wake up again and realize that Hale is ultimately, you know, the person who is in charge or the person who has led us to that world is in its current state, forcing Christina to stop the scene and take charge and claim that she is the person who should take the initiative. and um, you know, call her from time to time.
Hale says, hey, you can also call me once in a while and then Christina says I have other friends. She returns to her office on the 47th floor, just like Caleb did when he himself was being examined. uh, the crystal here makes multiple versions of her, you know, as she walks, perhaps highlighting the hint, um, that maybe she's one of a million possible characteristics or a million scenarios that are playing out, uh, He finally looks for Dolores Abernathy and the boss returns. Ask directly if she has ever questioned the nature of her reality like the techs did with Delores and Maeve and the other hosts, which is what originally woke them up or do you know if it was a help in originally waking them up.
This conversation leads her to say. that this is a closed system or a walled garden, what I think about again is the fact that it's just one of many, you know, a set of cells that are being tested for one purpose, she wants to see the door that would lead her to the answer she is looking for and then she will be fully informed about the human lives she has great control over and now depending on what Dolores does, she will prove that she is either the best Dolores she can be or the worst, right, I think everything this has led to this whole thing has been, you know, building until this is the best you know, the highest fidelity, a version of what Dolores essentially was and now we'll see how it will react once. she has the keys to the kingdom and is fully aware of the power that she has, she will try to destroy the system or continue to rule the people, you know, as it suits her, then she completely announces that the world is. a story and I'm a storyteller, the final scene is where Christina meets Teddy who can see the tower and fully understands that she is the owner of her domain and Teddy says it was her which I think means that again Hales is literally doing all of this. is the masterful test of the next and most positive form of Delores, the hosts actually creating descendants of the next generation of themselves, maybe it's about this too and maybe Hale recognizes her mistakes and wants a version of herself that More than anything see the beauty. of the world, but I guess only time will tell.
I think Hale is absolutely suffering and has been building this whole season and looking for maybe a way out of her suffering. I think most signs objectively point to this being her plot, but I also don't want to eliminate the fact that William or Bernard could be involved more than anything. I guess what I'm trying to point out is that she's being watched and maybe doesn't have as much control as you're led to believe, but as we get to the end of the video, be sure to hit that subscribe button as we're somehow very close to reaching 50,000 subscribers and I couldn't do it without all of you.
Special thanks to my top tier sponsors, Michael Link and New. just this week praveen mysore uh and all the new sponsors and subscribers who have decided to support me um again we are so close to 50k it's crazy I can't believe that in Actually we are as close as I said before, I am very grateful to all of you for so much love and I can't wait to talk to you again soon.
