It bears a striking resemblance to the void seen in the Disney Plus series Loki, which may imply that everything and everyone seen in these sequences are refugees from timelines pruned by time drift. Authority yes True, this would explain a charming and completely unexpected inclusion, a hot rod with such loud and unpleasant flames.

It could only belong to Gu Yeti or Tony Stark for our money, we're pretty sure it belongs on the ladder unless it's a finely pruned TVA flavor city. If you look very closely at the front of the vehicle, you can make out what appears to be an Iron Man hood ornament. It's also no coincidence that Stark was working on a 1932 Ford Flathead Roadster with the exact same design on the Original Iron Man, please don't do it. If I don't turn my music down, the implications of this vehicle's presence in the trailer depend a lot on what this location actually is.

Their appearance is subtly very telling in terms of the film's plot. These portals can only be created with the use of the aforementioned sling ring, a common magical item that has been wielded by even the most novice sorcerers.

One possibility at this point is that somewhere in the void, like the Wasteland, Deadpool and Wolverine are stranded. They have encountered a rebel ring to escape. Another, more exciting possibility is that Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange or some variant of him is at the other end of that portal helping them escape. It may be too

DSX Magicka for some, but its proximity to the Multiverse makes it a reasonable theory. After Deadpool and Wolverine get the obligatory meat and get out of the way, the pair move on to another superhero classic, the dramatic walk just to reminding the audience that this is a Deadpool movie filmed behind the couple.

He carries a sign that comics officers and may very well appreciate the fields of life, only the sign is a joking tribute to comic book artist Rob Lield, the co-creator of Deadpool, who recently retired from the character to focus on other life projects. ELD is famous among fandom for his perceived inability to draw feat and the Deadpool movies have poked fun at this before he poked out the pipe, sucks a freak show, comic book artist came up with that little Chestnut, probably a guy who can't put his feet down, we knew some familiar faces would appear in Wade's third outing besides Hugh Jackman's whiny mutant hero, along with a brief snippet in the new trailer, we got a glimpse of a group of them in what is apparently an alternate timeline where Ant-Man did not surpass his The enlarged skull and helmet have been transformed into what looks like a lirer for Cassandra Nova to demonstrate how great of a super villain she is.
She also looks like she has some of the old villains from the X-Men franchise at her disposal, judging by the familiar faces. Outside, forgive us if we're not totally accurate about who's hanging out in this Wonders marelize, but from left to right is what appears to be Ray Park's Toad from X-Men, Kelly, who is Lady Death Strike from X2 and Jason Flemings, a first-generation The Wasteland that is now this abandoned timeline seems like a Wild but Interesting Gamble: Deadpool and Wolverine's multiversal stylings make it pretty clear that the Logan we see is not the one from the previous films, assuming, of course, that Logan's character It is the same one that appears in the other X-Men movies.
Multiverses are that complicated, what the trailer does confirm, however, is that this Wolverine is incredibly unpopular; in fact, both the waiter and Mr. Paradox make it clear and unequivocal that this Logan's World considers him an outcast due to an unspecified costly failure that this Wolverine let down. In his entire world it remains to be seen what this means for the character. Most likely it will not be a direct adaptation of any comic book version of Wolverine; However, his outcast status and the fact that Deadpool almost instantly comments on his age could very well be a nod to Old Man Logan, an arc-starring version of the same name who spent decades in self-imposed exile after disappointing his father. people in a major way to discuss precisely what Old Man Logan does, it could be a possible spoiler. for Deadpool and Wolverine, but if the movie has something similar in mind, it's great that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are deservedly getting most of the attention this trailer will get, but arguably the most novel aspect is the expanded look that we have the main antagonist of the film, Emma.
Corin's Cassandra Nova, the rootless telepath developed by Rockstar Comics creators Grant Morrison and Frank Qule, has been dying to get the live-action treatment since she debuted in 2001. Now Marvel Studios has brought her to life and, according to what We can see in this trailer, it looks absolutely. Perfect Guy is so goofy that the specific look Marvel has chosen for Deadpool and Wolverine is almost identical to his most recognizable comic attire. A simple trench coat and button-down combo may not seem like

much

, but in a society where the majority wears brightly colored spandex and symbolic clothing. The iconography of this cold utilitarian outfit is especially chilling.
She's one of the most dangerous and terrifying enemies the former men have ever faced in the comics, so it's only fitting that she'd be dressed to kill for her MCU debut. If you zoom in, he even appears to be wearing a version of his comic book brother Charles Xavier's chair on a meta level. It's also possibly a promising sign that Marvel Studios will continue to embrace the wonderful costume designs of the X-Men comics as

they

integrate these revered characters in the MCU among Cassandra. look and a bright yellow and blue wolf Marvel's mutants have never looked so amazing If there's one thing we've learned from the new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer it's that old Logan just can't seem to have a drink in peace no matter what.
The timeline he's in right when the trailer opens Deadpool is bothering a very worn-out and gloomy-looking Logan as he tries not to get kicked out of whatever dive bar he's in for. The related conclusion is that wherever he is, Logan seems to be an outcast that he couldn't. save your world, but putting that aside, this Dow Bar meeting harkens back to a much lighter but eerily similar time of X-Men First Class, as the story follows a young Professor X and Magneto trying to recruit mutants for their cause to which their journey takes them. a dive bar not unlike the one seen in the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, in the way Charles and Eric approach a figure from behind who turns out to be Logan and the two are not welcomed, excuse me, I'm Eric ler Xavier, go yourself.
The parallels between these two moments are too perfect to ignore, although admittedly a bar is one of three places one would find an off-duty Logan. Everyone loves a themed birthday party if you look at the background of the party shots in the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer. You'll see blue, yellow, and red, the colors of Deadpool and Wolverine's suits. It's a subtle detail, but it's kind of a little joke that the movie is likely to be filled with fans who have been waiting a long time to see these two characters meet. again after the X-Men Origins Wolverine debacle and now that it's finally happening, it's worth celebrating that Deadpool has some new additions to his already impressive Arsenal in Deadpool and Wolverine and it looks like he might even get multiple updates over the course of the movie. in the scene where he tries to recruit Wolverine to his cause, he points one of his guns directly at Logan's head, he still has the smile, wait for the flash tag like in previous movies, but this time it's etched in gold later, After the two have Deadpool, properly partnered, seen carrying completely gold guns, different from the mostly black ones in the bar scenes, at this rate, Deadpool could be solid gold by the end of the movie, given that this It's the third climactic piece of a trilogy, that's fair. that Arsenal-focused Wade Wilson would be given some top-of-the-line secret agent gear to prepare for the task.
There aren't many good places to take shelter in a wasteland, but it looks like a huge skull does the job. that Cassandra Nova has taken up residence inside one of Deadpool and Wolverine, but in a surprising twist she belongs to everyone's favorite size. Avenger Ant-Man Nova. The entire Ant-Man Nova desert facility appears to be made up of a giant-sized suit of Ant-Man armor with the massive soup's arms forming walls. Considering that Scot Lang is still alive and well on Earth 616, it would make sense that this Dead Ant-Man could be from a version of the Marel Zombies Universe glimpsed in what if right now that zombified reality was the only place where we?
I've seen Ant-Man die, although Scott Lang is later resurrected because the zombie universe is similar to that shown in Deadpool and Wolverine. As far as apocalyptic landscapes go, it could be an intentional knot of some sort, even if it's not the zombie version, it's entirely possible that Cassandra Nova killed another incarnation of Ant-Man, perhaps even the famous version. hero's failure written by Edgar Wright. Deadpool and Wolverine are dealing with the TVA a lot, so it only makes sense that the movie would overlap with Loki. One of the most important references seems to be revealed in a shot showing an ordinary cloud transformed into a snarling purple creature, while other explanations are possible: it is almost certainly Elith, the guard dog stationed at the End.
Of Time, which is still Elith, is an incredibly powerful entity, a devourer of time and space that almost ends Loki's journey, it remains to be seen what exactly the creature could be up to in Deadpool and Wolverine. But it probably won't be pleasant for the comic book heroes. Cassandra Nova often pursues wanton destruction. and elath being able to consume almost anything in its path would be a terrifying weapon in that chase in a trailer that also includes giant corpses and magical portals it's a little strange that one of the most surprising surprises is the appearance of a dog dressed Al Just like Deadpool, this good guy or, more likely, very bad guy, could very well be a regular canine who was unlucky enough to get caught up in Deadpool's crew or he could just be the hero the MCU desperately needs.
Right now in the comics there is actually a mutant dog with the same regenerative powers as Wade, who goes by the name dogpool instead of just being Wade's pet dogpool, it's a variant of Deadpool for another Earth that eventually joins forces with a team of other variants dubbed the Deadpool core, although it's unlikely the entire team will show it. There's a good chance we'll get at least a few shout-outs to the Deadpool superhero team that will once grace the pages of Marvel Comics. The Deadpool and Wolverine trailer features a quick moment that seems straight out of a completely different franchise.
An unidentified character rides some kind of futuristic chariot in the desert pulled by several motorcycles that look a lot like Hydra's Lindworm 5 bikes. There's no real way to tell who the character is plotting this contraption, but the whole scene is a few amps and a Dolph. Warrior, save for a madmax Fury Road scene, many other moments in the trailer suggest a Mad Max-style Wasteland from the Skeleton Fortress to the strange Hideout. Wolverine gargles his drink; There's even a cool Rat Rod-style car that also fits the same aesthetic vision. Cars play a notable role in the trailer and the strange Chariot appears just as Deadpool says it's a massive action scene.
It's tempting to think that Deadpool and Wolverine could have some Mad Max-style fun at some point in Fury Road.
