RWB 1/4SCALE RC BUILD - KPOPRC - THE MADNESS BEGINS: Rauh-Welt STYLE

Apr 08, 2024
k-pop rc is about scale projects, it's not about the latest x-maxx, it's not about the latest low seats, it's not about rc tricks or hardcore clickbait, maybe it's about a little clickbait, it's Try to

build

scalar rc platforms that go further. of what you can do in your home studio and, above all, you know that you have fun while you do it well, that is the motto, that is the everything, that is what we are doing, that is what we are doing in kpop rc. Some cars I dreamed about as a kid and with this project we built one, we built a nasty, dirty, delicious monster, one that the purists can't get mad about and to top it all off I won't have any blame for Sawzall previously in kpop rc.

We unpacked the largest box ever created to grace the studio and pulled out the largest RC now in the arsenal. The plan, well, it will be to scale, it's obviously fast and hopefully a beauty job with that ass, how could it not be the Yankee? The quarter-scale Porsche 930 tin chassis supplied by cardinalracing.com is an engineering masterpiece. The huge chassis is 575 millimeters long and can be adjusted to 600 millimeters. If you don't like millimeters, it's incredibly huge, believe me, and above all, it's lightweight. Hell, the lack of mass will translate into super acceleration and hopefully some happy drifts.

More Interesting Facts About,

rwb 1 4scale rc build kpoprc the madness begins rauh welt style...

Chris Harris. In this episode, we cut the massive body to size, mounted the tires, and with the help of Scale Addiction and yours truly, designed some incredible scale features that will make this thing a formidable beast that will not only make little ones drool, but that your parents and grandparents will question your financial decisions. I found it on YouTube and it's coming straight out of the office, but first when we talk about tuning and modifying the Porsche 911. a name has become synonymous with the best

s out there, the internet would say yes, that's the best you're looking for.

How can you own a Porsche rwb without using a hacksaw and a bunch of self-tapping screws for a 911 monocoque and also not get angry? dad, hallelujah, holy, yeah, well, go to cardinalracing.com and pick up one of these awesome guilt-free RC cars, what is RWB? You ask, let me introduce you to Akira, the founder of Rault McGriff. Akira started with the Rola Ae86 chassis, which makes for a sick feature. about drift monsters, but his love for Porsches pushed those rollers aside and made one of the sickest rwbs of all time, the stella artois monster, affectionately named after his favorite beer, modified down to the tits, none of these four inch wheel spacers, a built engine, an incredible weight reduction. since she could become a real racing monster, getting a claim on the jdm blogs at the time made rwb a pretty interesting proposition to come to the states and create hoonigan's rwb and pandora's rwb, now everyone wanted a rwb and it's gotten a little out of control.

The purist in me is a little grateful for the 911 price increases that prevented this rwb virus from wiping out all 911 bodies. Some would say rwb was a lot cooler when it was an underground tuner in Japan, but what can you do with the success of rwb? It's just proof that everyone loves the delight of the low, aggressive wide-fender body styling that is so prevalent on these builds, so of course the k-pop rc can't have the real deal, it may as well. build an rc, but not just any rc, the largest rc in your collection. the rwb k-pop rc is ok let's go to the building cardinalracing.com sent me this uncut body with stripped tires without electronics but if you want he offers some turnkey solutions so visit him at cardinalracing.com and send him a Send email if you want your own mini rwb, so the first step is to stretch these go-kart sized tires over these plastic Work Meister replicas.
It's like putting on a wetsuit three sizes too small. The trick was to simply mistreat them. To say the tires are tight is an understatement, I will say that, however these tires will have grip as the contact patch is mental. I can't wait to push eight magical goblins through these titanic men, that was great and for all of you. Problems understanding the scale of this rc car. This is a 10 scale wheel that ruins my fingers and some bloody hangnails. They were then mounted on the Yankee Pan chassis and my goodness, this is taking shape. I just had to sit and watch it.
As glorious as it is, this is going to be magical. You know, there's nothing that makes me more nervous than cutting up a body because, like, you have a chance, you have to do it right, so you have to take it easy. try the scoring method right on the inside here to see if it rips properly, yeah boy the ripping method definitely works like sand, here's my hobby knife, um, get yourself a hobby knife, just do it, um, They are not very expensive either. Get yourself a box of blades because a lot of people don't realize these blades, but hobby knife blades wear down very quickly and if you have a dull blade you won't have a good time, so you want to make sure you change them. things fairly regularly, otherwise you'll get inaccurate cuts and it's horrible, so make sure you get a good hobby knife.
Lexan cutting is still the scariest technique, but I must say it's the cleanest, you just need to practice, so grab some of the old body clippings and learn to control the blade. You don't need to push as hard, just follow the contours of the body leaving a mark where you want the body to break. The trick is just to do. Sure you get a deep groove which still scares me because now I have to follow this line without going off, although if you pull it out carefully and notice that it's starting to go then you can correct the line with some Lexan scissors, so go to Amazon.
Get them, they are not very expensive, they should cost around 10 dollars. You know they will be important even if you follow my method where you just use an x-acto knife. Make sure you have them because sometimes that exact knife isn't. I didn't score deep enough and you may have to trim a little to get back to the deepest cut to rip, yeah this is scary, really scary, breathe mother, breathe we did it man okay three to go At least, I keep wondering what it is. the soul of a rwb plus that huge wide body in those deep edges what is the mythology the soul the story is so fucking japanese these questions will plague the entire build all the time and i hope the rwb k-pop rc does justice to akira most of them are a total mix of 9 11 generations.
Let's talk about the iconic whale tails offered as a streamlined package. You could still install a huge factory wing without a huge turbo intercooler hidden underneath and well, if you had the funds, you'd bet you'd be pushing for a 911 rwb turbo, the one that would piss off your dad the most. Hacking a factory turbo car is quite a trigger for those who have drooled over these widowed Porsches all their lives. This is not the biggest bag out there. The punch to the head I ever got, damn it, rwb usually goes for that 993 gt2 rsr turbo wing with the vents on the sides stacking the wings twice, creating a big stack of biplane that could fly at you, unfortunately I have the original turbo. 930 whale tail, but I will do my best to get a biplane stacker worthy of some WWI dogfights, let's cut the fool out here is the top of the whale tail in abs, it is definitely much thicker, so I think I mean I marked it on the sides here, so let's try to use the Lexan scissors to cut this, these are very thick abs, so I'll try my best not to do a horrible job, but yeah, let's cut it , let's cut it right, so I'm trying to put the Lexan on the abs wing and of course it's fighting me every step of the way, so now this can be the body color, I'll notice that maybe I won't end up putting a little bit of the color in here, but that looks good, here we go, okay, the bumper, check it out, uh, we've got the bumper, you know, the bumper on the main body slides over the top of this bumper here, so you know there's a little bit of overlap. and I really feel like our wba, I really feel like a tough world right now, um, like a rough cut and all that with scissors, all I have left to do for the bumper is cut this top off, it's crooked here , but not.
It doesn't really matter particularly, I have to be very careful when cutting the body because that's where the line is going to sit on the bottom of this bumper, so I'll have to try to be as straight as possible for that, but I have to figure out exactly how This bumper goes there, but the first thing I'm going to do is leave this and I'm going to cut the rear bumper. I cut the bumper. I left these in because I feel like this gives the bumper some structural integrity, the wheels sit right here, it sucks to have a small studio man because I can barely fit this damn thing anywhere and anyway, whatever, I too like how low this car can be.
It's the cheap body kit for rc drivers, it's where the Lexan folds in and creates this kind of awesome edge, so if I can keep the bumper there then it will look a little more aggressive, which is the idea I think. Okay this could be used as a lip so you have to keep all your stuff that you cut off your Lexan body because throwing this stuff away would be stupid it actually looks like the lip on the bottom looks amazing so this could end becoming the signature rwb lip at the bottom, I don't know. Not sure, but keep this, oh no, it wouldn't be a kpop rc build without some kind of 3D printing, so naturally.
I partnered with one of the best spatial scale addiction links in the description. He has designed tons of ready to print full size rc body files two free car jack models and other spicy free stl wonders. I even think it's giving away the print files of your jet vectoring shell, which is super cool for this project. I commissioned him to make me some ultra stylish 993 teardrop side mirrors and of course a super realistic Porsche dashboard and my goodness they turned out amazing, in fact, so amazing. i just couldn't let him have the fun if he was building my ultimate porsche rwb of course it would be twin turbo with the mother we have all drooled well i have drooled over the best porsche hot rod builds for months.
I collected tons of pictures of turbo setups of these rear engine oil pumps and of course I had to design my own twin turbo, low hanging fruit, did I mirror the turbos? wastegates with wastegate pipes that merge with a twin tip center exhaust and oh my god it looks spicy so it's everyone's favorite time to gift a set of cute recaro seats for your sweet model ride or put them on on your desk, hang them on the back. look in the mirror, whatever, if you want to be considered for a set, leave me a comment below the channel and maybe a couple will be yours.
