Other things you probably want to pay attention to on your battery are, of course, the terminal ends. If they look like they are corroded or have strange colors growing around them, it is most likely corrosion and will cause a restriction and could drain the battery over time.

Another thing that is very important to think about regarding the battery is that something must hold it. They should have a battery holder, this one has a location right here, other battery holders may appear on top of the battery, but they mainly need to keep the battery from moving and/or, you know. , leaving his place. If you hit a pothole, the last thing you want to do is jump and potentially crash into something. If your battery is loose like this, it's obviously not very good. Another thing to think about with the terminal ends is to simply make sure they are tight.

You should also pay attention to any strange colors, such as corrosion, because that could cause a problem. If you see any problems with these, of course, it's something you'll want fixed. Under the hood, you may notice that you have a fuse box. Sometimes you'll see the caption at the top or even sometimes you'll see it at the bottom of the cover. Another thing that is very important in every vehicle is the alternator, the alternator is what will charge the battery. So if your alternator is not working, you will only be left without battery and of course the battery will drain over time. Now, since we're talking about the alternator, you'll notice that you have a serpentine belt running through it. That serpentine belt will, of course, pass through a bunch of pulleys along the way. With those pulleys, what you'll notice is that many of them are grooved. If for some reason your serpentine belt was not aligned when you placed it in the vehicle, perhaps someone checked it or replaced it, it could be hanging off the side a little, in which case it will cause serious damage to your belt.

If your belt looks like this and it's missing a slot, that's obviously not good and of course you're going to want to get some of this out of there. If your vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, you may see some lines that look wet, this will surely happen when the air conditioning is running and is due to condensation. The gas inside your air conditioning system will be very cold and the air outside the air conditioning system or inside the engine compartment will be very hot, that causes condensation and that would cause the water that you see under your car.
