FAST Auto Tree Farm in SNAPSHOT 19W12B!

Apr 02, 2024
I think we can all agree in Minecraft that doing this is cool on the first day, but hitting

tree

s, you know, isn't the most exciting thing in the world now, as I'm sure most of you already know, on the last

snapshot

something very interesting was introduced that I really wasn't expecting and that is the fact that TNT now removes 100 of the elements it breaks, so in theory we should be able to stop this senseless hitting of

tree

s and hopefully Automate it completely now. I think it's safe to say we did. A pretty decent job on the concrete converting machine I created in the previous Redstone video, so I'm hoping we can take some of the techniques we use here and convert them for use on a tree

farm

.

By the way, I could do this all day. I mean, this is probably one of my favorite things to do right now, so naturally the first thing we need to do is create some kind of tree

farm

, which I mean, it shouldn't be too difficult because I've done tons of these in my day, okay, so here's our little overview of the pistons, that's where the tree grows, these blocks, here's the pushers and the blade clash and all that, and then I guess somewhere place around here is probably where the piston pusher is going to push our trees and in theory everything should be working, I mean it's a pretty quick solution, small and elegant, it's nice, I mean I swear I used to overcomplicate these things enormously. because I don't remember the design being that simple however it had some inefficiencies and I fixed them later in the video and now we also have all the leaf glitches so when the tree grows the farm is activated so that that's all.

More Interesting Facts About,

fast auto tree farm in snapshot 19w12b...

It's most of the tree farm, I mean, it's all done, all we have to do now is put a roof over it to make sure the trees don't grow completely out of control and that's all complete, so It was nice. and easy now all we have to do is make the tnt element which is the bit more exciting part and this idea is what I came up with to allow all of this to actually work so what this is going to do is split the tree trunks in lines a little bit like this and then what we're going to do is compact those lines, so actually, now I think about it, okay, so what we need to do is we need to push that down like this , then we need to push it the other way and then we would need to push one of these up like that and then we would also need to push it the other way, which means all those logs would fit a line like that and then I guess we could leave a gap, no we need to worry too much about that because I think if any tnt falls in the middle there it will explode, surely now I have realized that I am doing this in a slightly more complicated way and in fact the three pistons should go on the side left and the two pistons should be on the right side, but regardless of that, this circuit configuration will hopefully work, so I'm going to do it. to start running some suckers through this thing and we'll see if it works, so here's the interesting thing, so you're putting a sucker in, oh that didn't seem like it would work, I mean it's really hard to tell because it all happens pretty quickly.

Let's try again, so if we plant a tree, I mean, I didn't see any fire, so I don't know about you, but how peculiar it turns out, as always, I just forgot about a repeater, wait, what's okay? Interesting mistake, um, yeah. Dispensers dispense bone meal all the time, that has to be a mistake, I mean, that can't not be a mistake, that has to be a mistake, I really hope it's a mistake, well, despite some interesting mistakes , everything seems to be working correctly. So you can see we have a three block line and then we have a two block three block line right there and this is where our TNT is going to land blowing everything up so let's get to work on the TNT. system itself then and I think we can probably use something like this, in fact this exact circuit here should be absolutely perfect so what we have to do is build it, the only thing I'm worried about is that the TNT can't fall perfectly through here because the idea is that TNT falls perfectly and explodes somewhere in the middle here, right in the air, and that will blow up all the blocks and hopefully prevent them from being lost because that's the last thing we want.

Do the explosions happen too early and leave something like this where we have blocks placed on top like that because that would be a huge loss in efficiency? Oh yeah, I've been making use of these brightly colored walls for 100 years, haven't I done this before? okay, let's see how this goes then, oh yeah, well that just falls right in, yeah, that's perfect, that's exactly what we need, right, I need to patch this hole now, I haven't patched it yet, but we also need to do it. all the times for this now, as far as I remember, should be four ticks and then two ticks and, yes, there will be a hold system, so if we actually activate this, you can see that our tnt is held. up at that point it lets go and explodes into the air, which is exactly what we want for this to work properly with full efficiency, so in theory, much of Redstone's work is actually done at this point. time, so now I have to set up with some kind of water item collection system and then we can try it for the first time, which is stressful, but fortunately, of course, backups exist and I've made a handful of them, so I hate that, okay, oh, I mean, is any part of the red stone exploding?
It seems to be far enough away, ah, it's almost like the game hurts me. What happens if I do something like that? protect it a little with obsidian, does this work? I mean, can you protect things? I mean, it does. It doesn't seem to be protected. I mean, it makes sense that the explosion couldn't go through obsidian. Okay, I'm going to watch this for quite a while and make sure nothing breaks, but I mean, in theory, that explosive chamber seemed to work instantly. I mean, look how far back he hit the wood, we've got a little situation in the.
The farm is too good, so you see it explode, but it explodes blocks that we don't want it to explode yet, um, so yeah, we actually need to move this system a little further once I've fixed it. That problem I thought it would be a good idea to have a third person perspective of me using the farm and that's when I realized something: I placed the dispenser in a hopper so that all the items have been gradually coming out of the dispenser, because there is a hopper underneath obviously that's been happening, so yeah, that's the funniest thing ever.
I mean, yes, I mean, if we activate this dispenser now you can see that no, no, of course, the item count does not decrease. Ah, it's been a long day. It's also been a long day because I completely forgot one of the golden rules of growing trees and that is to never fill this area with redstone because this is part of the space that the oak tree actually occupies when it tries to grow and if there is redstone there, so the oak tree takes a long time to grow, so now that it's been removed, this is about 300

fast

er.
I mean, to be honest, I was worried that this would be a totally stupid design that was broken, but it's pretty

fast

now and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with this. There is one flaw which is the fact that the item collection system has not made it wide enough; it's only five blocks wide, when it should actually be seven blocks wide. but other than that, I mean, look how fast this thing is, so we're absolutely flying through the trees that are being pushed and then the TNT is doing a brilliant job of blowing up all the blocks, all the blocks land on Water.
Apart from the ones that land on the sides, but that was already mentioned, so all the items run into the hoppers and gradually fill the chest. I mean, it's a really easy way to get lots and lots of wood, you just have to stay there. by holding the right button you could be there all day planting saplings and you'll get lots and lots of stuff honestly this is cool this is super cool I mean now that combined with the concrete dust converter we use that I created and also the cobblestone generator we created which could definitely be made faster as well.
I mean, we'll never have to extract anything again. This is brilliant, so I was growing trees there for about two and a half minutes and that's what we have, it's two and a half minutes and we're close to seven stacks of oak wood, two minutes, seven stacks of wood, not bad at all the slightest. I am absolutely happy with this, very, very cool. The only thing is that obviously you know that the young trees will need another way to get them, but that's not the end of the world and there is a halfway decent sampling return system, even if a lot of them get thrown over the sides, but yeah , all.
Overall I am really very satisfied with this super cool video and I really hope you enjoyed this Redstone video, of course there will be a world download for this in the description as well as my concrete breaker so you can check it out for yourself, but Anyway, if you enjoyed it, please subscribe, but thanks for watching guys, this was stupid and I'm out, see you later.
