What Happens to Salmon on the Bottom of the Ocean? (Gopro View)

Mar 24, 2024
foreigner, so welcome back to another experiment with the trumpetfish coming for inspection. I decided to make wild

salmon

fillets on the

bottom

and it was crazy because at first nothing was interested except this little puffer fish. He was curious, but I think he liked the color. and I was surprised because for the first five minutes none of the fish came up to take a bite, they were all looking at it but none of them took a bite and I thought, you know, this is ridiculous, maybe I have to split it up. a little bit and see

what

happens

with that little movement just breaking off some pieces of

salmon

now that they come or

what

is this so that the fish doesn't bite off the pieces of other fish themselves like that it's crazy when I've done it In these underwater experiments, The fish want the food to be broken up before they come in to eat.

I didn't know saltwater fish were so finicky, but even after I did it, they still scattered, even after that little break, so I thought maybe if I hit it a little wrong, it really broke, they would start to enter and sure enough the damselfish is the first to appear on the scene, those little black and white ones are called damselfish and then a red goatfish, that little

bottom

feeder comes with those stripes. These are called sergeant fish and that's what it took before they finally started coming and biting them so they wanted to split them up.

However, I have this theory that since wild salmon isn't exactly a thing in Hawaii, maybe that's why fish aren't. At first they don't try it, they smell it as if it were potential food, they see it visually, it looks good, they go up and look at it, but because they don't know what it is, they don't bite it. until it breaks until all that oil comes out into the water, then they'll go for it. I thought you just put fish fillets on the bottom and they destroyed it. Hawkfish coming in, that's the one lying on the bottom.

He's fierce, look at him, he took off his little pound of flesh, just took a bite. I'm also surprised how I hit him once again. I'm also surprised by how polite some fish are. They come and take a bite, sometimes even the eel. It will come, take a bite and then leave, but that started the feeding frenzy, but I wonder if you have to put the oils from this type of foreign fish in the water to be able to announce that the fish is an idiot, I'm not sure that. That was it, but you have to activate the oils in the fish before they start feeding on it.

The trumpet fish is cooling down. He never took a bite from it, as far as I could tell, but he liked to hover over it. There's a little butterfly fish, those yellow ones. and the white ones and in the background you can see Amore, the eel smells, this is after about 15 or 20 minutes and guys, I think this footage is proof that more eels are blinded by seeing some of these images. I had some kind of theory about but I think this proves it look how hard it is for this guy to find it and look here comes some more eel and says uh uh no are you scared?
Get scared. I'd be scared too if that big one was. in the area, but look at it, look how difficult he's finding it, finally look at it from this angle like these guys are totally blind. A nice piece of bright pink salmon and he's sniffing all over the place because I guess they can, they can. He smells a drop of blood in the water like a shark, but they can't see for anything, so he finds it and it's game over, but look at all the fish that are walking around, they're not afraid of the eel, they're going to kill it. destroy, he's trying. to scare him away, but when he tries to tear it apart he also throws all those little pieces everywhere and the fish are close by to eat him, he starts a feeding frenzy, so he tore off a couple of pieces and I cut the salmon into strips in case something like this and uh he was ripping it off the wires one by one so I had to swim over there to see the action here look at this this guy is a fierce man you wouldn't want him to like it. on your foot or in your hand and do the death roll like that man, especially the ones that grow, which are just another little eel, four memorials that are six or seven feet long, uh, and you know, three times thicker and then look, here's more proof that they're blind I'm sure of it look he can't find it look how hard it is it's right in front of his face he's got it he's sniffing you can tell he's sniffing in the water to find it the last piece it he pulls out of the wire and that's it, I think he burps a piece right here, yeah, right there for the fish to grab, but he comes in and breaks up the party, that's so cool, what a crazy experiment, I wasn't expecting any of that for let the fish wait.
It will split, but there you have it, eels love salmon. If you enjoy this type of content and want to watch another episode, click on the screen there or check out the description to see more videos like this, thanks for watching.
