Alright guys, it's early March. I need to set up my schedule for the month. I'm also going to talk about how I'm going to incorporate the Flylady system back into my cleaning

. March and one of the things I'm going to do this month is that while I absolutely enjoy the passionate Penny Pinscher House Planner and the cleaning system within it, I'm missing zone cleaning.

I have also received many requests to bring. I return Flylady and area clearing videos, so this month what I'm going to do is try to figure out how to make it all work. I know you guys would love it if I told you that I have this all figured out and I know exactly. how this is going to work but I don't know this is actually going to be just an experiment I'm going to do it I don't know how I'm setting this up in my schedule today we're just going to do something like this I don't know what this is going to look like for the whole month I'm just going to do it we'll do and that's okay so it's a journey that I've mentioned before that sometimes life changes your needs change the seasons change and you have to do it.

Be flexible and now I know that I need some things to change a little bit, so before we get into the planner, there are some videos that I will recommend to you and I will put the name of them here. on the screen, one of them is basically the simplified Flylady and then also how I modified the Fly Lady system to make it work for me. Now I went back and watched those videos again because I knew I needed to refresh myself on what I was doing before I stopped doing Fly Lady stuff and it's still very much my same train of thought so that's what I'm going to do so just a quick little recap if you haven't seen those videos.

I still recommend that you go see them, but basically the simplified Fly Lady system is that you basically have daily

, you have your weekly cleansing, which is known as your weekly home blessing, you have daily concentration days and then you have zone cleansing, do you? Alright? What's missing in my life right now is daily focuses and zone clearing and like I said, I can't remember, I already said this so I shouldn't say what I said, but I've gotten a lot of requests for

stuff, so I know some of you are on the same page as me so let's put these things together and see how it goes well so let's first touch on the fly ladys zone cleaning system and I can't remember the number I mean , I can't remember the way the Flylady system divides the zones, but I know there are five zones and it's a little confusing the way they are laid out, there are five zones and a lot.

A lot of times, whether it's the first week of the month or the last week of the month, you do zone one and zone five in the same week, so you only have a couple of days to do each zone and I didn't like it like that, like that. I'll still make five separate zones but I'll just rotate through them. I will not move from zone five to zone two, zone one until I have completed zone five. I'll give myself a full week to do it. I know it's a bit. different from the fly lady, but I feel like it's less confusing.
I like to have the whole week to work in my zone and that's what works for me that way, so that's what I'm going to do. The other thing is that if I have a vacation or if someone is sick or we just have a really busy week and I don't have too many clean zones that week, I'm probably not going to jump to the next zone, I'll just fill that zone that way. I'm staying in the same order just because I feel like that's going to work better for me, okay, so let me tell you what my zones will be.
I have them written down on my monthly sheet right here, my zone one is going to be. It's going to be my entryway, which is my entryway hallways, and I'm also going to include my laundry room and our office area. 2 for me will be the kitchen which will include my kitchen pantry and the homeschool closet, our homeschool closet is right here next to the kitchen so that makes sense and then number three, that area will be my living space for me in this house, which will be my living room and dining room, my zone 4 will be my bedrooms and those will be all of our bedrooms which will be our master bedroom and then my two children's bedrooms and then zone five for me they will be bathrooms, we only have two bathrooms so we have a master bathroom and then a master bathroom that my kids use. and that will also include the linen closet that is in that bathroom, that's how I'm going to divide my zones.
Now let's talk about daily focus, this is what I feel like I really needed to bring back into my life, so daily focus with the

flylady

system is every day, you have a kind of daily focus that you work on, Monday is usually your weekly blessing in the home, tuesday is maybe plan and play day and i may be wrong because i didn't like updating my memory i think wednesday is anti procrastination day thursday is aaron day friday it's like a date night like something like Saturday is family day and then Sunday is renew your spirit day now one of the things that I've talked about in some of my other videos is that I absolutely recommend trying the system fly lady as written when you first start.
I feel like it's a very good foundation. I recommend doing it the way she designed it for the first month or two. So I feel like once you've done that, it'll give you a good starting point so you can determine what you need to modify. I feel like the Flylady system, although in most homes should be tweaked a little, we all have different lives some of us are married and have husbands some of us have kids some of us homeschool some of us send our kids to school some of us have big families some of us have small families we have a lot of different dynamics a lot of different types of jobs just all the things and what I like about the flylady system is that you can really modify it to make it work for you so I'm modifying those daily concentration days.
Now what I'm going to do is Monday is going to be my cooking day and I know it may sound crazy, but one of the things in the passionate penny planner is that on Tuesday you clean your refrigerator, mop the hard surfaces, take out all the garbage, you clean the microwave and the stove and then I usually also clean like my toaster oven and I usually take everything off my counters and give my similar counters a really good wipe and wipe down my backsplash because I'm already in the cook doing those things so that's tuesday if you're into the passionate penny picture planner and use this. system as written, so I've named it my kitchen appointments.
I'm going to do those things in the kitchen that I need to do, like cleaning my stainless steel appliances and then all those other little things that I just mentioned and then I also prepare some meals. I like to have several things ready at the beginning of the week so I can pack my husband's breakfast and lunch for the week, so it makes sense for me to do those things on Monday, Tuesday. the day I do my weekly blessing at home, Wednesday will be my planning day, my desk day, it will be the day I file things, grade schoolwork, you know, do all those homework, meal planning, things like that.
Thursday will be my Aaron day and then Friday will be a fun/recovery day. It's one of the days where we have different things to do with homeschooling and I'll probably pick up the groceries on Friday because I can do that on the way home or in the morning before we leave, but it will already have been planned and sorted and stuff. Well, it will just be a matter of getting them home, so that's my plan on Saturday. It's still like a family day for us most of the time and Sunday is basically church day, so with all that being said, that's what's going on, I'm going to turn the camera around and we'll figure out how to do this in this planner before doing that, although I want to put a photo here, I am using several balloon products that I reviewed a couple of weeks ago.
I'm still using the menu planner and calendar on my refrigerator, my family really enjoys it so I'm going to show a photo here, you can see, I have this set up for March, I have my meals planned for the week and then I'm enjoying it too a lot of these pads, one of them is um, it's like a to-do list, but it's divided into personal tasks and work to-dos, then I also have the daily planning pad and then also the menu planning pad, and This is where I like to discuss what we have. I'm making it from a menu with my shopping list and all of these things have been great.
I really enjoyed adding them to my passionate Penny Pincher home planner before we start March let's take a quick look at February now last month I used my notes page to plan things for my son's birthday just a few things I needed to remember to do and then I wrote a kind of little list of projects. You can see that most of these things will move to

, they just did. It didn't happen before the company came, in fact the company ended up not coming because my husband got sick so we had to reschedule, so I basically didn't do that.
Here it's February, February started out not being busy and then you can see it got. super busy but I think it's super cute I like the stickers and the highlighters and everything in here. I did a good job using my planner this month. I was doing pretty well checking off checklists for my daily tasks. Well, it's not my daily task. what I do, but my daily routines and then you know I did pretty well with meal planning and all that stuff this week that I didn't do. I did these things, but I didn't check them either.
I did a good job. I know how to plan the week but not use it every day, which is a shame. Some weeks are like that. I guess the next week was pretty much the same and then this week I did it again, so let's look at March, I'm not sure. What I'm going to do here I'm not going to sit down with you and go over it yet like I'm not going to add all my personal stuff here, I'm just going to do it on my own, but this is where I made a list of my zones that I just went over, so I have my zones one to five and then each week I will do a zone, so for the first week I will be in zone one, two, three, four. and five and then we'll start again in April okay so at the beginning of the month okay so this is Sunday the 27th, Monday the 28th and then March 1st so what I want you to think about is these lists here. these are your daily routines this is your morning routine and your night routine now in the flylady system you also have a morning routine and a night routine this is already built in here for me these actually work very well for me so I don't have to do nothing more with this, so the next thing we think about is the Flylady system.
Now we have a weekly home blessing during those things that are basically quick cleaning of your house, so dust the furniture, vacuum the house, mop the hard surfaces and clean the bathrooms. change the sheets in the room, take out all the trash, clean the screens, this I like to clean electronic screens and then also mirrors, which is a fly woman thing, so I like to think of these things as my weekly blessing for the home. You can do some of them. do them all, you can do them, however what I will do is on Tuesday when I do my weekly home blessing.
I'll go through and do these things at home and just mark them where they are. I don't have to make a separate list, these things are already written here, I just know that on Tuesday I will take about an hour to do these things and then they will be done, so what do I do? I need to write here. I need to put my daily focuses here and I need to put my cleansing zone now. If you've seen my videos in the past, you know that I'm a bit of a rebel when it comes to spot cleaning.
And I do it my way. One thing I like to do is a lot of times, especially when I'm just starting to clean areas, I'd like to just aim to do four things that I don't do. I don't have a long list, I just choose four things I know I want to do in that area. Now lists are great, but I feel like when we have a really long, exhausting list, I feel like it's really easy to get overwhelmed. It's easy to procrastinate, you feel like you have to make your perfect list and then you don't do anything, that's the reason I do it this way, so what we're going to do is Sunday because it's the beginning of the week. .
I'm just going to highlight zone one, so I know we're in zone one this whole week. Now the things I want to do for zone one. I mentioned that my zone one is my entryway which includes the entryway, laundry and office hallways. I recently cleaned my entryway and in fact I always did it a week ago because they just needed it so this week I need to do some things in the laundry room from my office, so I'm going towrite dust blinds in which I need to do it. the office and then I need to dust like a really good dust, not just a quick dusting of sneakers, I need to do the ceiling fans and I need to do a um, really, that's all I think I need to do in the office, in the laundry. room I need to clean the baseboards and vacuum and mop and also clean the washer and dryer, I'm just going to put the washer and dryer on, so that's actually six things, but they won't take me much time, so that's what I'll focus on this time. week for zone one.
Okay, now let's talk about our daily focuses. I mentioned that Monday will be my kitchen day, so I'm just going to write kitchen day, okay, nothing special, I know I'm going to clean the refrigerator, clean the microwave and stove, I'm also going to boil some eggs, I'm going to brown some ground beef, I have a big What I have to take care of the ground beef I brown it and I'll freeze it for different meals and then I'll also make sure to clean my countertops and backsplash really well, so they're something rapid. Oh, and I'm going to clean the appliances.
Okay, this is simply because this is my day in the kitchen. These are things that I have a habit of doing and we are going to spend this from Tuesday to Monday, so on Tuesday I am going to do our weekly blessing at home. I'll just call it my quick cleanse and what I like about this is that this lets me know what I'm going to go through. I'm going to dust. I'm going to vacuum mirrors. All those things I'm going to try to do this very quickly. I'm not necessarily going to set a timer. I'll probably set my timer just so I can see how long it takes me.
I've talked about it in the past, but also clean showers even though that's not part of the weekly Fly Lady home blessing, I like to do a quick clean in the showers every week because then it doesn't build up and it's more easy, it doesn't take me much time and that's the day I'm going to handle this, I'm not going to write down all these things because they're already here in various places so I can mark them well, so Wednesday will be my desk and my day of planning, okay? This is the day I am going to do the meal plan.
I'm going to go ahead and write the meal plan here even though it's there. um I'm just going to put together the meal plan. I will grade the papers and I will file the mail. Now I have a system that I need to show you because it's a little new how I set it up, but I need to review it once a week and file everything. Well, Thursday is Aaron's day, so I'm just going to write messages and then any errands I have to run will be done right here. I know I'm going to Sam's house.
I need to get gas. I need to take my kids to the library. So that's Friday. I'm not going to write anything on Saturday. I'm not going to write anything. Because they are more fun days for us. These are the ones I really need to focus on, so here's how I'll do it. this is fine for now, so let's meal plan, let's connect my meals for the week on Monday no, this is Sunday, okay, so on Sunday we will make homemade pizza on Monday we will make sloppy joes and tots on Tuesday we will make chicken enchiladas, honey and lime that I had planned I made this a few weeks ago and we ended up not making them, but I have all this stuff, okay, on Wednesday we are going to make leftovers, that's church night and that makes my life easier, so I always plan to have leftovers on Wednesday, Thursday, come on. make a baked spaghetti friday I'm pretty sure we'll make pizza tonight like takeout pizza.
My son just got braces and he hasn't been able to eat pizza yet and I feel like he will be able to do it this time. weekend, so he'll be looking forward to that and then on Saturday we'll do roast chicken, probably with just some vegetables or rice or something, so now my week is basically planned out, so I'll still be back, I still need to add. Some already know different things, but I think I'm going to use this mainly for household stuff now. I'll probably still connect like we're going on dates or different things I'll probably do.
Keep this in mind, but I feel like I'm going to use this as my sort of home planner now since I'm really focusing on this stuff for the flight aviator stuff, but I still have plenty of room here to write, you know , dating, stuff like that, here's how we're going to get started guys, as you can see I'm starting off super basic with the flylady system and how I'm adding it to my schedule. I'm really going to focus this month on adding a lot of extra things. I'm not necessarily trying to make this super pretty right now.
My goal is just to create some new habits, something I've really been thinking about and thought about. I would mention it in this video. I've been thinking a lot about consistency versus motivation. I feel like we're always looking for other things to motivate us and a lot of times the motivation just won't be there, but if you're consistent and you really start to focus on being consistent instead of just being motivated, if you're consistent, you're going to see progress, you're going to see results, so That's something I'll really focus on. This month is just being consistent, I'm going to show up and do the things that I've planned to do and I'm going to be consistent because I know that if I'm consistent, every day will be better. a little better I'm going to progress, you're going to progress and ultimately progress is the goal okay guys I know this month's plan with me was a little different like I said I wanted to use this. video just to show you how I'm going to incorporate the passionate penny pincher system with the flylady system, ultimately it's really kind of the flylady system just doing it on this agenda and I'm excited about it so I'll see how it goes.
