Hey guys, welcome to my channel, I'm Kristen and today I'm sharing 10 new DIYs with

dollar

tree

wood

craft items. I'm so excited about this, you guys know I love using

wood

in a lot of my

decor

and a lot of my DIYs and videos along with those fun boxes. I've made a few videos which I'll link to as well, but let's move on to the video with 10 new DIYs. The first DIY I will use one. of these boxes along with this sign that came from Dollar Tree, Waverly chalk paint in white and I'm just going to paint the box white and then once that's done I'm just going to use the smallest

wooden

dowels that I could find at Dollar Tree and I'm just gluing them on each side on the back because I'm making a cute little stand at the farmers market.

I made one of these recently at a different DIY and I'll link it for you too, it was a little bigger with a different sign but I think they are really cute for summer and spring and you could definitely put whatever you wanted in here. I only chose to put flowers in, but this was a very quick and simple DIY video to make. It's also a collaboration with my super sweet. amazing friend nicole from nest of the week diy she is also going to be making 10 square craft

crafts

so if you are not subscribed make sure to watch her video it will be in the description box below and here i am just using six of these little

wooden

pallets and this hazelnut in Waverly chalk paint and I just add a little bit of water so I can make a nice little stain so it doesn't stay like paint but goes on like a stain.

More Interesting Facts About,

I do this on each one of them. video if you guys are new this is how I like to do my dye and then I'm just going to glue two of them together and then on the other I'm going to glue in the opposite direction to make cute wall buntings or

decor

or a little bookshelf I thought which was a really cute idea, I also had these cans to put in here, they were from a garage sale, they were 25 cents each, new, so I thought I'd put some lamb's ear in here along with some DIY

tree

florals of the

dollar

.

I'm going to use one of these Happy Easter signs that I had left over from Easter and I'm just going to sand the glitter off. It's very unnecessary for the dollar tree to put glitter on everything and then I just use black chalk paint or Waverly ink and this is pri. I probably didn't have to do that because I end up putting some contact paper on top, but I'm also using three of these boxes from Dollar Tree. Also, this contact paper is also from Dollar Tree and I'm going to leave this or put it next to the sign.

I just didn't like the black, I didn't like the way it looked, but I love this contact paper. with black I think it looks super pretty and obviously this is a secret that I didn't want to show you but I'm using a general dollar sign that I had last year and I'm putting it on top because I thought this would be a very cute DIY with chicken themed, with eggs, moss, cotton pods and all the fun things from Dollar Tree that you would never know what to do with, but you buy these eggs left over from Easter and then I just spray painted them white. and I put them in these boxes and I think it turned out so cute for this DIY.
I'll use these wooden boxes or these small wooden

crate

s from Dollar Tree along with some jenga blocks. I'm just going to make some really simple little planners. and I'm just putting it on the bottom to see if it was going to work and it sure did work using this arteza espresso brown. I think this is also an exterior paint, so you can definitely paint, put this outside and Okay, I really liked this dark brown, so I chose to do everything this color, so it's something simple, something basic, so you can see I'm just using a little bit of hot glue to stick the rattle blocks together and you'll see. some are painted and some are not, I honestly thought this would be a lot easier if I just painted what was necessary and what I needed because I felt like I was painting everything and it's a mess and when it's put together it's so much easier. paint, so you'll see some of it isn't, but in the end it will be, everything will be painted, everything will be fine, don't worry and then I'll use this warm Apple Barrel polish and I'll be dry brushing it along the sides from the agendas if you guys are new to Nicole's channel, if you haven't seen her channel, she wears a warm polish, I think every video she has, it definitely made me want to try it.
I pulled out and bought some, so she definitely inspired me to choose that paint color and that's it. I think they turned out really cute, they remind me of little spiders, but that's totally fine and I just added some flowers here, a little baby's breath. and then some flowers or greenery from Dollar General for this DIY. I'm just going to use three of these trays and this Waverly and ivory chalk paint and yes, my camera shakes a little. I put my tripod exactly where I was painting. I don't know why I did that, it was definitely a big fail for me and then I'm just using this moss color to paint the next tray.
I think I said I was going to paint all of these trays in ivory, that maybe was a lie. I said maybe I didn't know, I don't know, but I'm just going to use the moss for this one and then I'm going to use the hazelnut for the second one. This is the idea I'm going to have. making, I'm making some books if you guys are new to my channel you haven't seen it, I made books out of boxes, I just painted the box, I turned it over, it looks like books, well this lady at Dollar Tree said, "Oh, are you going going?" use these to make books and I said no, but I mean, I didn't say that, I said oh, that's a really cute idea, so I went ahead with it and delayed the dollar tree so much.
I don't know what your name is, but thanks. to you for having this idea for me, it was a great idea. I just wrapped it with some twine and then I had this sweet

farmhouse

decal. Sometimes I print or cut decals and then I just don't. It fits what I'm going to do and I'm saving it because you never know and I don't like to waste vinyl so anyway I chose this sweet

farmhouse

decal and then rubbed on some transfers from Dollar Tree and then just added a box. of greenery to the top and that was it for my fake books, this DIY I will be using two wooden frames from Michael's, a dollar tree box and this dollar tree windmill.
I'm going to paint both frames with the ivory color that I use. I don't know what happens with the ivory. I just liked it a little more than the white one. I ripped the clips off and it really didn't leave much of a hole and you can't tell once I painted. and then to secure them I used hot glue along with some craft sticks on the back and then finished by gluing my box all the way to the bottom. This box is painted. I think it's Waverly's celery. I did not want to. I show myself painting every creak.
I really thought that would get old after a while because I used quite a few boxes, quite a few trays and I used a lot of the same colors and then all I did here was just glue the windmill on. I ripped out that welcome sign that you see and then I'm going to dry brush the hazelnut color right on top of this box and then I added some boxwood on the box and that's it. I'll be using one of these wooden houses from Dollar Tree and here I go again with my tripod where I'm painting, so I'm really sorry about that shaking.
I don't know what I was thinking about again. I just painted the back using these rub transfers from Dollar Tree I love this one I think it's really pretty so I bought some of these so I can have these little pieces of decor all over my house and then right here I want to show you that rub. Transfers are also difficult for me because a lot of people say "Oh, they don't work for me." To be completely honest, this is the first time I've had such a problem with them, they don't come off, they rub off but they don't.
It doesn't erase so I had to go back and paint this again and I just used a little bit of different rubbing on the writing or writing transfers to put them on and then added a couple more pieces of greenery on top of this, which is All I did was just paint a little wooden box, add some robot transfers and you have a super cute decor piece for this. You will need six of these larger popsicles, these are also from Dollar Tree and I just hot glued them on and they actually stayed pretty good, I always like to use the gorilla glue sticks, I just think they work better and once you glue the wood, they don't come off, so I just glued three and three and then I glued the three to The other three I hope that made sense right there, you see what I'm doing here.
This is not rocket science. I'm not teaching science right now or we might get lost here. It had this start sign. Dollar tree and I'm going to glue it right on top. I thought it would be great as a wall piece with a shelf and I had a ton of things from the dollar tree so I thought I could also use things I share. on my dollar tree hauls, so if you don't look at my dollar tree hauls, all of these things have been on them on a timer two or two months ago or six months ago or recently, but I just grabbed one of these racks of the dollar tree glued to the background. and that cute little white camera I'm showing here is also from Dollar Tree.
I think she's so cute and stinky. I just added a candle and some greenery and I think it turned out so cute when I use this wooden dollar tree sign I thought this was really cool because it had like a chalkboard in the center that was kind of raised up a little bit, right? I just thought this was really cool so I picked up some of these pieces for you guys. I'll look at them later, but I thought I'd use one of these painted with wavelet paint in white and then I'll just use my chocolate transfers.
I love wearing them if you've seen me wear them over the last few years. videos are just one of my favorite things to use lately. I love being able to use them more. I know some people don't have a Cricut and want different options and this is a bit of a pricey option but I have to say. You know they have test kits and stuff if you want to try the chocolate I'll leave links in the description box below but I think the test kits are really cool because you like the paste and you get a transfer and get it like a surface to place your transfer just to see if you like it.
The best of chocolate tours. If you don't like it in the future, you can just clean it up and remake it into a different piece if you have a nice whiteboard. and you want something nice, you can just clean it right away. These are reusable, they are super fun. I'm using this as a bright melon color. I think it's so pretty. I thought it was like a pink, but it actually turns a bit. It came out like a super cute peach color and then I'm just using these robot transfers from Dollar Tree once again and adding them on top to give it a little bit more and that's all I did here, I think this is it. cute, it says home sweet farm and like I said if you want to see the chalk tour I'll leave the links in the description box below.
I've had a ton of people email me so if you need any help let me know. also and yeah, like I said, that's it for this one, super easy, it was a lot of fun to make. I had an idea as soon as I bought them, but I needed them to be scaled down a bit. This says wash and dry. just these little signs, I know I'm definitely not going to put them in a laundromat, but I wanted to cut them up a little so I cut them in the same place, just used a rotary blade and some scissors to try to like them.
Make a rule, but the rotor blade works great and I'll have you know I've never cut myself on one of these. I know sometimes people watch these videos and like they're going to cut themselves, they're not using a rotating blade. true, but I will have you know that I have never, ever cut myself, I used a little speck and dumped it in the little holes because I didn't want them to show and then I just used Waverly chalk paint and ivory once again. I'm really going outside the box, you guys aren't using white chalk paint, I decided to use ivory, which is pretty white but a little bit painted the same color with this little tray with the ivory color, like I said, I didn't really want to get into a bunch. of paint, but I'll let you guys watch me paint for just a minute and then I'll use my chocolate one more time.
These are like country minis. These are my favorites. I've used them on quite a few

crafts

just because they're super cute just using the velvety chalk paste and then my little spatula on my little mixer and they turned out so cute. I love the reveal when you take them off and everything looks pristine and perfect. I love that it's really kind of satisfying and then I'm going to stick my little signs on the sides of this tray here and you'll see a sneak peek of another DIY in the corner, that's kind of funny, I like to edit and then I like to go. back and you never know how I DIY you never know what comes first uh yeah, I'm just going to stick them on the side because I'm making them like a little cart.
I like to call them toolboxes, I think. I don't like the word caddy, it really bothers me, so yeah, so I'm just gluing them together and then I just had a wooden dowel fromDollar Tree and put it right here along with some transfers to rub along the sides. I said it completely backwards because I thought I knew how I was editing this video, but there's my wooden dowel re-rubbing the transfers on the other side. Wow, nice edit. I'm not going to change it, I'm going to leave it as is. I had this little lamp of what is it?
This is the lamp, night light, flashlight, dollar tree, I just dry brushed it with some ivory color, added some greenery and threw it in this. cute toolbox cart and let's end the day here that's it that's it that's it for this one this is super cute this one I'm going to use a little chandelier that I painted black and never used so I thought I'd just go ahead and paint it you guessed it , ivory color using my chocolate stencils once again. I'm just going to use this cute little piggy in the Ocean Mist color paste. This was really pretty when I opened it, I thought it was blue, no, it's a little purple, but.
This is a really pretty color for spring and summer, if you want a little bit of color in your house, like it's blue but it's a little bit purple, it just depends on how you look at it. I put that pig on both sides. the tray and then I just glued it directly to the candle holder and you got yourself a cute little tray holder. You could put this in your bathroom. You could put it in your living room. You put in your remote controls. You could put your hand lotion and your. hand soap that's what I made and I think it turned out so cute you thought I was going to say cute but I said cute guys that's it for the video.
