Eine Zeitreise durch Nintendos Controller - Mögis Museum

Mar 24, 2024
Hello and welcome to a new episode of, if possible,

museum

in which we control things with our hands today with Nintendo

controller

s with all Nintendo

controller

s, the history of the series as a console manufacturer, so we start a little with the Nintendo Entertainment System until reaching the current console. what is the Nintendo Switch We'll take a look at all the controllers and see what they have and I also have one or two controllers that might be relatively interesting. So we'll start in 1983 with the old controller. or NES controller, whatever it is for the family computer in Japan or even outside of Japan. 14 entertainment system, which was Nintendo's first home console and this controller does not have many cups, there is an A&B button to jump or run into action or confirm or close, depending on what you are doing, you want to set the state to pause and select to possibly select something and that's it, we don't have any side buttons, it's just four buttons and a control panel.

The control panel was, of course, a big revolution back then. I think, but strictly speaking of course you can play the game for the first time with watches, but that was a good thing that of course a lot of people copied immediately and this controller seems very uncomfortable, but as someone who absolutely did not have the controller back then and I actually played something with it a few years ago, I must say it feels good in the hands, it doesn't hurt on the edges like you might think or something, it's just a very comfortable controller, unexpectedly, not for everyone people.

More Interesting Facts About,

eine zeitreise durch nintendos controller m gis museum...

I share that opinion and that's why we got the later release, ten years later in 1993, with the entertainment system which is usually called a top loader, so the official name is New Style NES. We also got the Dogbone controller. I would like to call it by Of course, it looks like a dog bone and fits a little better in the hand. I mean the curves, you just have to do it. You just have to get to it. You just have to snuggle in your hands. You can not avoid it. Generally it is very similar. Compared to the original controller, it feels a little better.
eine zeitreise durch nintendos controller m gis museum
The buttons are a little further apart, but in general I would say that it is more recommended. You can currently get the controller, although it should be a bit rare for around €30. and I think as used I think it should really be worth it. The only problem with it, which is why I honestly don't use it often, is that it has a very short cord, so it's maybe a meter long and I. I'm not a big fan of this, I mean you have to be very close to the console, but hey, who was that a good upgrade?
eine zeitreise durch nintendos controller m gis museum
An even better update for gaming in general, but we got it three years earlier in 1990 with the Super Nintendo controller. I've ever heard of Super Nintendo and it seems like I didn't clean it even a bit before recording. In any case, the Super Nintendo controller remains the definitive controller for 2D games for many people to this day. , I got two side buttons which allow for many new actions and of course the face buttons were changed from two to one, four augmented which are arranged in a small diamond formation and these things are what controllers do to this day. today, so this formation of four buttons can be found on all mainstream controllers to this day and the reason for this is because it just works for two back then, in games you generally didn't use x and ah as much as you might think , but mainly the thumb of the router in Y or B, you can run, jump, jump and run, you can do almost anything you want, but I'm honest, personally, I'm not necessarily a fan of the normal Super Nintendo controller because the buttons don't They feel great to press, they don't have as much resistance as you'd like, which could be due to the age of the controller, but also the less used buttons have relatively little resistance.
It's something you obviously don't know about the Super Nintendo controller that comes with the SNS Mini because its buttons feel better, they have a lot more resistance, it's also a little rough everywhere and it's a fantastic controller that feels like the original. He doesn't feel bad, but I would say he can't keep up. new version in three ways, that means I'm also thinking about it, maybe I want to take a look at something with the controller, basically you can put stickers that are too small to increase the resistance a little and think about the fact that this looks like you want to do it because there are a lot of good Super Nintendo games but how the buttons feel because I'm not convinced because it goes beyond that, like I said, it can also be in old age, common sense.
It would tell us that now the Nintendo 64 controller is waiting and after Super Nintendo of course Nintendo went straight to Nintendo 64, but we are talking about Nintendo and consequently that is wrong, we have the Workshire guy, I mean Japan and the United States have so far disappeared into oblivion, a not very long video was made and this controller is strange. I'd say there's never been shit like that. They were just two of these little buttons that you press with your. index finger and it feels great but generally not necessary, there is a second one on the right side which is also very strange, but it turns into a two person console, 3D gaming headset so to speak, so just you needed more than a single directional button and they mutually decided on a second control pad and it's a strange decision but if I didn't know better and then I have no idea but I would say it uses the original buttons from the original Gameboy and they feel pretty good, so I would choose this controller.
I really like using it as a controller for regular Gameboy games, but it has a connection that isn't compatible with anything else and that's why it says it doesn't work at all unfortunately. One thing that is also interesting about the controller is that you may have already noticed that it has an on and off switch, which of course is evident by the fact that the power supply is not connected to the virtual itself but to the AH of the controller. which as soon as I found out, I found out exactly what's inserted in here and then you can just plug it in for the first time, so if I use it or get a fan.
Power supply for Japanese standard, I have no idea what. voltage you have or if you get the wrong voltage due to problems so don't try to figure it out and alternatively there is also a part that can easily operate with a battery I have. But I don't and I don't. I plan to get it, but yeah, talking about the controller seems strange, but I think the site is relatively interesting and it still gets bonus points from me because in the previous version it was purple and had these two buttons in a shade of green which is Of course, we will see the color combination again later before the time comes, but the jump to the third dimension was with the Nintendo 64 and this controller is strange from today's perspective.
It has a control panel, if I really see you. It feels pretty good, but it's not really used for gaming, maybe for stuff it's blatant where everything is up against what I played my N64 games, you know what I mean, otherwise it's not used too much as input of main disturbance, which is a shame because it is a good control panel. of course, the control stack, which was the great revolution. It was the first home console to support such a control stick and my experience back then was that it was easy to remove very quickly, especially when the kids were playing with it and quickly not anymore. it reacted correctly to movements, mine is a little worn but still relatively fresh, but overall I don't want to use it too much because I have a feeling the Nintendo 64 controllers will die later, so I don't trust all that or of course , the A&B button is completely normal and the diamond-shaped design of the Super Nintendo controller is on the C buttons for some reason, which caused strange artists to notice that one of the 60 controllers is strange, which means we have many more face buttons than before have gone from four to six pieces, which is a lot, so of course there would be two school keys above us and interestingly a Z key and by the way, don't ask me what's here.
I tried to clean it is somehow varnish or something it doesn't really work it disappeared I really don't know what happened to you but let's ignore that it's fine exactly when using the time button of course for example for the launcher in Marvel 60 or for Target opponents in ukulin in time, which means it is very useful and always feels good to use. Typically you just hold the Tattoo 64 controller in your hand with your left thumb on the controller and your right thumb on. the ARD or c buttons Of course there are still games that you can control that way or they are unusual, but there are several possible problems, I think it's when you set certain controls in the first person shooter to 60, but usually it's always like that. like that and you just can't be there on the left side, otherwise it wouldn't make any difference.
I for one am definitely the biggest fan of my 64 controller. I think it feels good, but like I said, it feels good. I saw this stick after a few Mario Parties and it wasn't in good condition, so I don't usually play with this controller. I try to avoid it, what I use instead is not an original controller, it's from Red Robit but I think. It is a good recommendation if you don't know it, you can possibly find it on Amazon for €20 and for that price it is of good quality. The design occurs on another horse party controller from that era, the hurricontroller, but I can't afford it. these days and effectively had control of the next driver we will have; otherwise everything is a little more compact, you have two Z buttons and usually when I play the Tennis 64 I play with this controller mainly because the joystick does not break, which means If you are looking for an alternative to the controllers 60, it is recommended for 20 euros.
In 2001, it was time for Nintendo to move on to the next generation of consoles with the Nintendo GameCube and this Gamecube controller is an absolutely legendary controller, there are new ones to this day. There are versions sold that are primarily used for Smash Bros and that's absolutely amazing if you ask me. I've never actually owned one of these modern Gamecube controllers. I don't know how it feels, but I have many other drivers. That's why I didn't buy one and what else can I say about this controller? The control stack is incredibly smaller for the thumb which gives you a lot of grip and that's not what I say with other controllers.
I think I'd like some. Also, the D-pad is absolutely horrible because for some reason you won't find a game that actually requires the D-pad, so it's bad that you can't play anything on it. I know it works a little, um, a little more. for menus and things like that, but otherwise no, the stick is fine, I danced a lot back then, I played Future perfectly, but nowadays I wouldn't want to play FPS with this game, it's terrible and the design of the buttons Facebook is absolutely brilliant and I think it's a completely sensible and good evolution of the standard diamond design, which was never fully maintained, the thumb rests on top of the other directly towards B and x and you can also press the buttons at the same time if you wish. necessary or something, I had the feeling that the three buttons around the button, which of course is the main button, can be arranged, which is absolutely a good idea and works very well for games, unfortunately this layout was never used for other controls, which is It's a shame we stuck with the diamond design, but I have this feeling that they were right.
Another interesting thing about the Gamecube controller is of course the shoulder buttons, which are analog, meaning you have different levels of how far you can go. press them, but in some games you can use them to do different things. Example Starfox Adventures is a good example of this with its button being on the other side, but it does it. It would be very common for both buttons to be the same, depending on how difficult it is. Press a little with the arwegen, that means you can do everything. You can try Super Mario Sunshine a little bit, for example, you can run and the dirt will spread if you just press lightly and then of course you can press.
The whole ride makes a loud noise and sounds like when people play Smash Bros with this controller. That's it, it's very loud and very annoying but it feels good. Also, we have a zig, a Z button, not much, a Z button that seems very difficult to press but is only used for cards and things like that. So I think it's a nice advantage, I guess it was introduced because we no longer have a selection on the gamescom controller that the 64 controller doesn't have, come to think of it, and the show button serves that purpose. and okay, it will never work for the game used and if it is an option, for example, grabbing the opponent with it, but I wouldn't really actively use it for anything and yes, people's favorite controller, it is still made to this day Today, there are many. different colors and an interesting version is a versionofficially interesting.
The Waveboard controller is just a wireless Gamecube controller when you turn it on, it is powered by two double batteries, it has no vibration pack compared to the original controller. and I for one played exclusively on the Waveboard for a long time simply because it's a wireless controller, they're nice and for such an old wireless controller it's pretty good, the control stick is a little forgiving, that says we'll see in a future. moment with a controller that was from the time I smoked and I suspect it's just remnants of that cigarette that later settled on the control stick is the only explanation why I didn't use controllers at the time, so a little yellowish, a controller but who would need that switch right behind the head would become relevant later and yes, Waveboard is highly recommended nowadays.
But unfortunately it has become relatively expensive, I think you have to spend between €80 and €90 on a computer and yes, I know if it is worth it. But it is very interesting in itself and highly recommended for the wireless controls of that time. Next, Nintendo seems to have slept badly because the new controller we have in Wii mode is, of course, absolutely noticeable and not without reason. it's just that it was used for one thing: you can look at the TV, you need a sensor bar that has red alpha lights so you can see where you're pointing at it, and you can basically use it as a mouse cursor in different games. or you can also move it to simulate any level of gravity or whatever and of course it worked absolutely well in the reports for all the casual gamers and made sure that Nintendo has sold more consoles in this console generation than anyone else, which It's supposed to be Microsoft, by the way, that was 2006 and now you might ask how do you actually play something with this strange controller?
That's a good question, on the one hand, can you use it sideways? Like a little flashback. to the S controller which worked great for a lot of games and words that existed back then and at that time 2D platforming was becoming more common again which means you also have some jumping and racing like dark field spins that you can play like i'm personally the biggest fan of it but it fulfills its dwarf i think it's a creative use of name games it also has a speaker that i always turn off and it sounds absolutely catchy and when you're on it it sounds whiny click the start button on start and then go to the Wii mod at the bottom and turn it off because it sounds horrible and don't be the type of person to have it on, it's fine if you play Smash Bros or Mario Kart or something like that.
Do not do it. It's just that it's so annoying, it sounds so bad, this controller is of course completely unsuitable for more complex 3D games and that's why it usually comes with a small add-on that was also sold individually. They were probably always sold together, however there is also the so-called Landshut, which is based on what they were called and Chakos or something, you know what I mean, ninja movie music was released around the parts where they were filmed and this state parliament is relatively interesting, on the one hand the control stick does not feel as good as before, whether it is at the time of the game, but it is fine and on the other hand we have again a settings button that is very similar to that of its Temple 60 controller, that is. things that a lot of people don't necessarily realize, but in the end it's just the middle part.
With the N64 controller you only hold it with one hand, which is relatively interesting and I can see that you can play games like that. You have the Nadja in your left hand and the remote control in your right. I used to be a big fan because it allows you to hold your hands however you want nowadays, not so much anymore, mainly because always. You have to configure the sensor bar and that is especially with the monitors becoming flatter and thinner, it is something that becomes more and more strenuous and annoying and in general you have to close the sensor slightly to be able to start a game even if it wasn't.
It needed motion controls, it was okay, but not that good, it's a phone that was probably seen too, so we got the classic controller that Youtuber games were used for, which had a fantastic virtual pool where you could just age. The smallest part that I really like is that the buttons don't have uppercase letters but lowercase letters and I don't know, that's not always fun and this controller, like the state parliament, just plugs into the remote; There are some normal games. that stand, but usually not too many and I don't like it too much, there's also a version with handles and yeah, okay, okay, I think, but okay, you can do it, you don't have to.
I would not do it. At the time, there was of course a lot of internal criticism about the Wii not being as accurate, so a little later we got the remotion plus, which was just a little gyro sensor that plugged into the bottom. I have one of those because you can get new remotes a little later where the remote spot is directly integrated. Remotion Plus is absolutely necessary for some players, which means that if we are talking about something like that. Skateboard Sword, for example, respot Resort should of course also require removal plus and in general should simply ensure that the motion controls work with a little more precision.
For example, it can more accurately recognize speed differences when restarting and all this stuff. and if you buy the remote control today, just make sure it's one that's already in place because there are some examples that work better and I have a reason why you should have a remote that doesn't already have it built in. , they are still not bigger or anything, so after the Wii someone at Nintendo slept very badly again and so we got the Wii U, whose feature, of course, the video gamepad, is again very in vain and the video gamepad was controversial.
I would say that the most controversial thing is that it is a controller of which you can only connect one to the Wii U and to avoid confusion, they not only sold the video gamepads in the store, it has to be done somehow. you want something new or if it's broken or you have to contact Nintendo support, it was really strange and the video game has a lot of features, for example it also has a tag gyro sensor that you use in splatoon or something like that. to move something It's good, so it has a camera that is used in Nintendo Land, so if you wanted to see yourself driving at some point, then that's the console for you, which is also relatively interesting.
This place you could just put amiibos in, say. think about the ice cream it has and then you could use it to activate certain things in certain games. Friends themselves are pretty annoying, even if you get nice bonuses. It actually fits much better in your hand than you think. This is because it has the right gaps and something like this has the right shape on the back so you can easily hold it in your hand and rest your hand on it. It's an absolute dream. Actually, I would have played with the Bio Gamepad. More often than not, the problem is that it just doesn't have good battery life, meaning I'd be surprised if you actually last two hours with it, and unlike other controllers, it doesn't run very long.
Like other drivers. Most of the time, it's not supposed to charge via USB with your own power supply that you have for it and that makes the whole thing really annoying since I've never played with the video gamepad, but rather the video has the called professional driver. one of fantastic high gloss varnish we see how quickly they pay attention. I'll show you well, yes, you can recognize each other, but it's very quick, a bit easy, it looks very greasy and disgusting, and where can you see them everywhere? It's really not nice. I have to work with them to polish it to a high shine with glasses cleaning cloths so I can present it here reasonably well.
Well, the interesting thing is that one's controls are on the top and he says that. You don't have them in the other controls of the time. On Playstation, for example, both joysticks are below the buttons and on Xbox the left one is above and the right one below and the mute or Nintendo one. I thought no, we'll put both sticks on top, I know if it's necessarily a good decision, but it's fine and overall depending on the controller, the D-pad is fine, the control sticks are fine, they fit well the hand, it feels a little unpleasant sometimes if you've used it a little bit, like I said because of this high brightness because of this highland polish that I really like and use it doesn't have a built-in gyro sensor, which means that some games that require the gyro sensor are not possible with the Bio pro controller or you can't use its bonuses which is a shame and there are also games like Mario Maker 1 which even if you just want to play levels and don't want to build a level it simply requires you to you do it the gamepad is on and I hate it even if some games only have to be played with Pro Controller games which is what I usually do sometimes the gamepad is required to be all which means you have to charge the gamepad again first and then it has to start.
You boot up the game to play with just the controller anyway, but this controller gets bonus points for the fact that it charges with a USB format that was already outdated back then and especially today. but it charges via USB on one hand and on the other hand the battery life of this controller is absolutely huge if you have a Wii U for any reason you probably want a controller and last but not least it's 2017 when Nintendo's latest console was released. It's simply a tablet again and this time one you can actually use. I can remove the Switch from the console, I still have it, it's fine, just plug them in there and then you can use them individually as a controller.
You can use them. as a controller for one game at a time, which is relatively interesting when you hold them sideways. I don't really want to play a game like this because it is absolutely horrible, but this is possible and the control sticks of course are very. notorious because they tend to break sooner or later, their problem that Nintendo definitely didn't want to address for 5 years is just ignored or something, no they wouldn't do that, that's called a joycon itself. I don't like it at all. I think his control is not good. The control panel is really bad because there are four different buttons and I don't play with it if I can help it.
Normally you put it complete. sew it into a stand to make it look more like a real controller, which then fits better in your hand. Of course, it looks very strange, but it serves its purpose and is one of my favorite pieces because it doesn't have a USB port. That means to charge this controller you have to remove both joycons and plug them into the switch that is currently in the docking station and I hate it, you know why I hate it because there are controller stands that have the USB port. The Switch positions weren't there at the time, I don't know if they changed anything when they just weren't in position.
Of course I play, but there is no Switch as always with the Joy Cons, at least not absolutely preventing what you can. The same goes for most games, so with Pokémon Let's Go and that's why I play with the old pro controller, which is more like the Xbox controller; otherwise the diamond pattern control panel would be nice again, a new button was added so you can just take a screenshot if you want and then you have screenshots. I got it, you can take it. We have two pairs of side buttons. Currently, the button on the Gamecue controller is gone, but no one misses it.
We also have a gyro sensor built in again and something new. Added HD Rumble where you can sort of see where exactly you need to rumble and rumble in general to be more integrated and I don't know, I don't know and while we're talking about things I want, they used me. just controllerfell down ignore the um this is a small food it's the small camera I don't know what kind of camera it's very primitive and with it you can play some games I think it was with change things where you can play rock paper scissors with it Now this is what you show beforehand, there are also apps that allow you to use the camera and this controller has many functions that were never used for anything and that is a very very sad thing if you ask me, generally this also applies to the Pro Controller whenever we didn't get a Vario that had AG Rumble or something, what kind of world is it, what kind of world do we live in, but hey, those were all the Nintendo home console controllers they seemed to have.
It makes sense to me to mention it, I mean As I said, there was still a Wii Classic controller that has a harder grip. I think I should have bought them all otherwise and if I had to say it's my favorite controller, I'd probably want it. To say, I think I would go with the old Gamecue controllers. I get the sense, like I said, of all the design and work to make sure they were on the trail of the big thing, unfortunately, nothing ever came of that and otherwise the Switch. HePro controller is always good, I mean, personally I'd probably also prefer the Xbox One controller or service.
I don't have one yet, but overall it's a good controller. There is a reason why all controllers have this design. It just works well for everything. we want to play a video these days and of course the stupidest controller is clearly the gamepad, if you ask me, the video gamepad that has so many bugs, I could talk about so much more but go into so many details, but it's terrible but oh well, that It's because I think the video is long enough to, as much as possible, be a

museum

of all the Nintendo controllers you can possibly have.
Maybe you didn't learn it and yeah, thanks for watching, maybe we'll do everything with another console. manufacturers depending on what I think Microsoft could be interesting. As always, thanks for watching, until next time and goodbye.
