Hey guys, good morning, if you're watching this on Saturday, you'll catch me on the way to AGB, honey, I'm about to go pick up my groceries because what I don't do is go to the store and shop. I don't know if I'm the only one, I doubt it. According to my Instagram poll, I'm not the only one, honey, it hasn't even been since the pandemic. I've just never had the time to spend an hour and a half to two hours shopping I just can't stand it so I've been using this honey on the sidewalk and the heb stays on so I'm about to go to the sidewalk and pick up my order.

I did it earlier today. they're really good because the location I'm in is really good to be able to have a spot available the same day you pick it up, as long as I mean the same day you place your order, as long as you receive it. I'm here early enough so maybe before 12 um at the latest one um we'll get you the same day so I'm about to go pick it up I'll show you my full outfit but my pants are part of a paid collaboration. which I don't think you should see yet, I'll show you my shoes real quick, although that's how ragged I'm being, like I've been walking around inside, first of all, okay, this country, I'm just showing you this.

First, I bought all my sandals with my socks, so the country, but I don't have to get out of the car, so what's the problem? Oh yeah, they did it right, just bear with me with the lighting, you know, because it's a little dark outside, it's like 6 58, it's almost 7 o'clock. I was actually supposed to go grocery shopping between 6 and 6:30 but I got stuck working God has blessed me all with two more God is Good campaigns, one of them with a brand I've already been working with .

Well, so they're coming back a second time, which is good timing, a good sign, but I'm very excited to work with them because I always wanted to have a working relationship with them and you guys yesterday. I was talking to God as Lord. I'm supposed to get rid of this debt. I gave him the amount, but I said like Sir. I'm supposed to get rid of the pimple. I need your help with additional income from this. Know? The side hustle I'm doing and he just poured it into my lap this morning so I'm really excited about what he's already doing for November and you just know that by the time you see this, it's already going to be November. um, but this is literally the Friday before November, it's October 30th, um, so yeah, he's been doing amazing things.

and have the dynamic that we are and we are not, and that doesn't mean everything. it's going well y'all that doesn't mean all my um like I'm up on the hill and you guys don't mean any of that honestly I'm still at the point where I'm trying to find a balance between working out and not feeling anxious like I'm not I haven't been anxious in a long time except last night it came out of nowhere um I randomly started feeling anxious out of nowhere I'm like what's going on I couldn't sleep last night I was tossing and turning and laps and I just couldn't pull myself together I didn't know what was going on boundary business I don't know what was going on um but I just couldn't go to sleep and I think the later it got the more anxious I got because I have to get up to go to work and I'm already so tired that I took some melatonin peels uh well gummies because I'm not, you know, but I was, this is taking too long, but even when I still don't feel comfortable exercising, I see people exercising.
I think, oh my gosh, I so want to exercise again even though you'd be tired. and you know you never feel like working out, but the results, especially with this 40+ pound weight loss, I really want to tone my body again, I'm not going to lie, I'm still still dealing with the nerves of pushing my body to, you know, increase your stamina while I'm right after and it's not even right after, but having dealt with that anxiety, I feel like that when I'm working out. I like it and I wasn't doing anything to feel my heart beat the way it was, so now it makes you not trust your body and I know I'm okay, like I know God has taken care of me and this temple is working.
It's okay, but I guess I'm running into a mental problem and I'm still praying for God to help me with that because I really want to get back to exercising and I think it's just biting the bullet, maybe it will work. with a partner, uh, for the first month or so until I can see that I can really trust my body and then I'll be honest, you know, but then I don't like it, I don't really have anyone to train with, you know ? so I don't know, it's all that, in general, God has been good, I've just been, I've been chatting with you in this first, five or six minutes of this vlog and I.
I definitely didn't want to get off, oh first of all guys, before I stopped talking, I decided what I wanted to do for the vlogmas. I think I want to do two videos a week from November until Christmas and it will probably be the second week. November, so probably next week, I'm thinking about posting the videos on Tuesday or Wednesday and Saturday from the second week until December 26, so that's what I'm thinking about what we're going to do. vlogmas that will save me from having to edit or try to edit a video every day and then just help me and my video editor be able to find some kind of plan that will allow us to still have some time to enjoy and not just edit videos like a lot during the Christmas season, so I think I'm going to try it anyway because if I know when God blesses things to work, that's possibly the new way for the channel, so we're just trying it, I don't know, because No, don't be like, oh Ashley, you said no, next year we were going to do two years, two videos a week, not at all, that's not what I do.
I'm saying that I just want to try it and be a part of vlogmas, but do it in a way that is very comfortable for me, so I think two videos a week will be a little more achievable than one video a day, even for eight days. You know, yeah, I think that's what we're going to do. I'm just running it with my video editor and seeing how he feels about it, we'll move on with that girl, but you should know that after the vlogmas your girl will have to take me two weeks off, I turn around oh no, I'm fine , yes, after the vlogmas, I will have to take two weeks off.

You have almond milk. and the oat milk is pretty good, it's not as thick as almond milk, which is what I like because you know I don't like the thickness of almond milk when I'm trying to eat cereal, but I also have some bell peppers and I have this here, cornstarch and nutritional yeast because I want to try making vegan alfredo style things.

. I'm trying it on. I have a lime with onion and a bunch of avocados because my guacamole is very hard, I love guacamole so I bought nine um when I grocery shop. I shop for two weeks in a row, so I can't go to the supermarket again until after 3pm. So I know. That's because I'm like they pay you, you can go to the supermarket, so I have my limes for my avocado, my guacamole and onion for that, I also bought myself some cotton pads because I'm about to run out, uh leo. that these are vegan and the cookies are hard like I don't know if you've ever had biscoff but these are the biscoff cookies and the biscoff um, what's it like?
It's like peanut butter, but they call it cookie butter, oh, just amazing, eat that. apple cookie butter you will drop it, it is so good, so as you know, on the weekends I participate in a small gathering, so I have these pinwheels here so I don't have to go out and buy anything. I have these. salmon pinwheel and a salmon, oh, it's salmon, uh, feta and spinach, of course, like cream cheese, um, so yeah, I have that and I have the same thing, salmon, feta, cream cheese and spinach, no salmon, this is actually a beef flank.
Heb has these ready. prepared food simple meals where all you have to do is, if you want to add a little seasoning, you just put it in the oven, it gives you the time and duration you need to cook it and then you just put it in the other one, take it out, do your sides and you're good or add a salad and you're done so I bought a bunch of broccoli broccoli fries because I love them I love broccoli. Me and broccoli go hand in hand. I bought some almond cream for coffee and tea. I also put cream in my tea.
I'm british. I have mushrooms because I eat them. It's like a meat substitute for me. In fact, I've been listening to you, a lot of people who've been saying, hey, stay away from processed vegan meat as much as possible, so you know, I feel like it's all bad, you know, if you eat it not in moderation. , but especially meat, regular meat itself has a ton of sodium. Okay, so I didn't buy any processed meats. I did it. I've leaned in this week to eat only one meal with processed meat and I think that's what I'm going to do in the future, eat only one meal with processed vegan meat. meat and then the other meal, uh, without anything, so it's like you know only one a day, so I say that because I really only eat two meals and then a snack, because I don't really start eating until after 11 and I try to finish by seven, but it's like 7:30 now and I still need to eat dinner, but I bought these hash browns for breakfast, like Idaho potato squares, I love them.
We made them at my mom's party, they were so good, so I said. I need to get myself some and then I have frozen diced onions because I don't always have time to cut things like that. I have spinach because you know once you cook the spinach, it goes all the way down and a bag can help me. all week so I bought spinach and my favorite chips oh lord these chips are my favorite especially with my guacamole because honey it takes the business so this is all I bought from the store and I'm about to put these things up.
So time passes because I don't want to be just friends, no, oh no, if you decide to do it, you'll leave me anyway, maybe I'm too naive, but I choose to do it, so after demolishing my chicken salad, I, uh . I've started working on a blog post that will probably be yes, it will be out by the time you see it. It will be a mom sister best friend gift guide and an Amazon gift guide. Basically, it's a gift guide for her. in her life, um, I pretty much did the shopping for you on Amazon, so you guys can check out that post which will be linked in the description.
It's past my bedtime. I'm literally supposed to relax. This is what my body is used to. I'm supposed to relax at nine o'clock and then read a book or something just to relax a little bit during the night, turn off some lights. put on some soft music, you know all those good things I'm looking for are 9 34. I feel like I just started the blog post. I thought, "Okay, where did the time go, where did the time go and tomorrow like me." I'm visiting a friend too and while I need to work, I've been doing all my photo shoots on Saturday mornings for now, but I'm going to see if we can move that shoot into the morning, then I need to do that.
Get some work done and then I need to figure out what I like to do before I go to my friend's house. Yes, later tomorrow night, I'm going to a Halloween party. I'm not a big Halloween party goer. I don't like. dressing up for halloween is just energy that i don't mind doing um it's just one thing that i just don't like to do um but i've never been to my friend's house i think she invited me to the last couple things that i couldn't go to because to work, so she literally invited me with amonth in advance for this Halloween party and I was like, "it's like a costume party." She said, "Yes, that's fine, that's fine, let me." Go ahead and go because she invites me to a lot and I don't get the chance to go all the time and I definitely miss her and I want to see her and spend time with her and her guys so yeah I'm going to go and check it out and then she got a new place so I need to go see her house and just spend time with her for this party because I know she's very good at decorating so I'm into party planning so I know it's going to be very very nice so I'm going to do something 70's and I'm actually going to wash my

before I call it a night because this is tight okay so this is what I usually use to wash my hair. to wash my hair, this is the Nexus um therapy

shampoo

that I've been using.
I've used it for a while, I think for the last six months, and before that I used to use it all the time in high school when I was in the middle of cosmetology and stuff, it made my hair feel so soft. This is also the Nexus Hymetras conditioner, which is really good at restoring moisture to the hair, so I use both normally, but I speak to the brand. Excuse me. I talked to the brand and they actually sent me these little bad boys and we'll see how they do, but this is the Nexus um Cara Fix line that helps damaged hair.
My hair was very dry from being in those. uh the twists that I had for a while I had for a while so tomorrow I'm going to use the

shampoo

and conditioner before I comb my hair and since I'm in my 70s I'm going to let it air dry. or dry cool and cold and then do a 70s look. I bought this little sequin bodysuit and some wider pants and we'll figure out the shoes later because I'm pretty sure I have some old shoes that I shouldn't have. packed that I ended up packing anyway, so for those who always ask me what I use on my hair, it's mainly these two, but the whole brand is such a good brand.
Nexus is a really really good brand so I would definitely suggest any of theirs, I tried the hamatris line and I tried the therapy line, I just mixed them up for this round but I haven't tried them before. I'll definitely try them tomorrow and see how it goes because I just need to clean my hair it's been two weeks since I straightened it and I'm going to leave it puffy for a while well tomorrow I mean for a while literally by this weekend I'll probably straighten it like Monday or Tuesday or something but yeah, I'm going to wash with these tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes so you can see me on the other side now honey, I'm about to do it before we go into the dark, I'm about to call him.

He ends up having a class on this too, but in those three days he gives you so much information that you can use to learn how to study the Bible correctly. For my part, I felt like I didn't know. I understood reading the Bible in a year, but I felt like I needed to know everything in it, but even reading I still wasn't going to know everything because you're literally reading, you're not studying what it is, what what.

I honestly don't know how long they'll have it there, so the quicker they can, hopefully it'll still be available. I just get out of bed. I actually woke up at what time, like 6:30 or 6:45 and not really 6:15 and I said my prayers and stuff and then I ended up getting a text from my cousin because we were supposed to do a session this morning but she's not feeling well, she went ahead and rescheduled that so it More or less opened up, I mean it opened up my day, but it just rearranged everything I was already going to need to do anyway, so I'm about to shampooing my hair, it's actually a little after 10. I'm going to shampoo my hair and show you how I do it.
I'm actually not going to straighten it today because I have a Halloween party I just realized we're going to. in the middle of a pandemic and I'm going to a party, we're not in the middle of it, but it's still a pandemic and I'm going to a party, we'll be masked and prayed and, um, look at things while I go when I get there to see if there's a a lot of people if it's a lot of people then I probably won't stay long um like I can I don't know I don't know if it's a Actually I need to ask him before I get ready to leave like uh hey just realize that Covet still a bunny especially especially in Texas um how are things going as far as how many people are you inviting?
You're just curious, you know? I couldn't know beforehand, but yeah, I'm about to shampoo my hair and I'll show you what I'm doing with it. I can't wait to hurry up and share it with my hair because I'm starving and I actually thought you know what, let me probably go ahead and start my two vlogs a week, they'll be shorter, don't look for 30 minute vlogs . I'm thinking more like 17 to 20 minutes, I think that's good. maybe on Tuesdays and Saturdays we'll have a vlog twice a week for the rest of the year, well I say until Christmas so I'll edit one and then I'll probably ask my editor to edit one or until it doesn't feel right to me.
She no longer likes to edit and see if she was able to edit too. It's usually ashley m15, that will be most of the time my code, but Yeah, yeah, so you guys can shop with that code for her from now until when you see it, this will probably be Tuesday and yeah, you'll be able to see it, so I got a little hot, okay? turn this down so I got a little hot um early because I had my heat thinking I was still going to be 40 honey it's 55 that's almost summer here in Texas so I basically got my hair I had my hair wrapped up . because you know we were originally supposed to have a photo shoot this morning, but since I'm going to go ahead and shampoo it, let me unwrap it so it looks a little messy, but every time I wash my hair I have to separate it.
It's in two different parts because, honey, once the water hits and that thing expands, you can't find the middle, it's like finding a needle in a haystack, so let me go ahead and split it in half, so, yeah, I have my two parts um or my two my parted section for my hair I'm about to wash my hair so I do what they call kitchen cosmetology because I don't like washing my hair with shampoo in the shower because my hair falls out to the shower floor and it's hard to pick it up too much and clean when I wash my hair in the shower, so I actually do what all the black kids did when I was young, except I don't lie on the counter to get washed The hair. for my mom I lean over the sink in the kitchen and I wash my hair with shampoo so that's what we're going to do so I'm actually talking to you with the conditioner in my hair just a quick update I was using the shampoo and I got to a point where I thought my hair was soft when I was, you know, putting water in it and everything and then when I put the shampoo in it while I was working it, it was like my hair started to harden. it was like what's going on, no, I don't like this, but then when I got it, when I rinsed it out, it was soft again and it felt a little bit thicker and then I remembered, oh, any kind of repair shampoo. or treat you, especially if you are restoring your hair with proteins, it usually makes your hair a little harder when you work it.
I don't know what that process necessarily is, but yeah, this has black rice and it also has the carafix, so it's gentle, so it also adds more protein and thickness and strengthens your strands, so I forgot that it gets hard every time. you put something like that on your hair, it kind of makes it rough for a little bit and then once you rinse it out. It should be smooth, so luckily that happened because I was nervous. I thought I had never tried a Nexus product that I didn't like. But yeah, I got a little nervous, like oh no, we're not doing this again, but. as soon as i rinsed it out i thought oh yeah, so now i have the conditioner in my hair and i'm trying it out.
A quick tip whenever you condition your hair, towel dry it first to get all the water out. outside of your strand so that when you put the conditioner in your strands it embeds and it doesn't get blocked by the water, it's still, you know, the water, I say follicles, but that's not all, it's not blocked by the water because there are little cracks in each strand if you have your hair is still soaked with water before you apply the conditioner, that water can clog the crevices or the strands where the um or the areas where the conditioner digs into your strands to help soften a little bit of your hair I learned in cosmetology school, don't you hate it when people go and get a degree in something or they get a little bit of knowledge and just start trying to spread the word like they know everything?
But yeah, that's what I've done since I started. By doing that my hair has gotten better especially since high school when I learned it, my hair has changed since then it's actually conditioning completely so I'll let my hair sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse it out. and I'm going to show you how I use it to straighten, I say straighten, but I'm not going to straighten it, but I'm still going to put heat on it to help dry it, so while my conditioner is doing its job, I'm

a little bit, I'm making some broccoli with garlic In fact, I already have enough to eat for the rest of the day and I still have a lot left, so this is the garlic broccoli and this, uh, are these.
They are the breakfast potatoes, I added a little onion in there, you can't tell the difference, but I added some frozen onion and seasoned them, they look a little white, so I'm going to put a little seasoned salt on them. add a little bit of color just a little bit to add some color and then I'm going to make these two salmon wheels, I'm going to season them a little bit, it doesn't necessarily need seasoning, but I personally because so it adds a little bit of flavor, but you know what. I want a little bit of seasoning, so I'm going to add a little bit of seasoning, maybe a little bit of onion powder, garlic powder, a little bit of salt and pepper and I'm going to put this in the oven when it's done. go comb my hair like after I've rinsed out my conditioner so this can cook and the size can already be done so yeah I'm going to eat this all day um it keeps me from it especially on my like trick between quotation marks. cheat week, it stops me from having to buy food or I don't even have to buy food, but it stops me from wanting to buy food because I already have something here that I like and I can go ahead and eat it, so, yeah, I just added to my purchases my shopping list and honestly everything I get from Heb is under $150 so it lasts me two weeks and actually arrives the next week so I don't have to buy as much food all five weeks. the next few weeks because it's just me, you know, I don't have kids that eat all the food, so fortunately because the budget is low for food and fortunately my appetite, my stomach has recovered, you know, shrinking a little more because I can.
I eat out of that house at home if I let myself, but cutting portions has really helped me lose weight. So far I've lost over 40 pounds, I know it's over 40. I don't know exactly how much more. 40 but I know it's more than 40. and that has been reducing my portions practically in half because I can eat one and the other of what I usually eat now but what I am eating now but I have reduced my portions in half and I have less quantity of meat and dairy than I consume, so I only eat meat on the weekends, unless I fall into something like yesterday, you saw me eating a chicken salad and I didn't have time to cook.
I need to make blog posts and stuff and actually work on some things so when I have to cook and add everythingthat to my plate plus work plus what I do plus it adds to it makes me anxious so I'd rather just eat you know what I can and I'm more health conscious in what I eat than just stress out so yeah I'm making enough for today so I don't have to cook anything else today and probably tomorrow after. I come home after visiting my mom. I probably won't have to cook for tomorrow either because some of this will be left over and then I can eat tomorrow when I get home, so yeah, and during the week I just don't eat dairy or meat. mainly um and that's pretty much what I've been doing.
It's really been helping me because I haven't been as active as I wanted to yet. I mean, you know I have to work on that. God is helping me because it's like I have to learn to breathe again. Know? all those anxiety attacks in a row it's like I have to learn to walk again and not now that that part has been, in quotes, I say woken up, but it's not now that that part has happened, it's like I have to reverse my mind to stop feeling like that's a possibility, um, just live the best I can, you know, just do it and keep going because I know my body can handle the workouts, especially if I'm starting small, I know my body can handle it. . training, so I just get there with my mind

up, so yeah, I'm going to put this stuff in, put this salmon in, season it, put it in the oven, well, not really, I'm going to season it, rinse my hair and then put it in the oven. and then I'm going to show you how I blow dry my hair, so I just finished putting some lotion, not lotion, but my hair moisturizer on my face because you know your face gets dry once you wash it like that, but this is my hair. then this is in its natural state so I'm going to divide it into four sections so I can handle it better I'm about to blow dry it but I dry it with a blow dryer but without an iron, I think What I'm trying to say is that I'll use it like this, just blown out, but um, yeah, now I'm going to split it into four sections so I can go ahead and be able to maneuver through my hair easily with the scalpel.
Before we move on to the full four sections, I'm going to use this Nexus Energy Scalp Leave-In Treatment um. It really helps me control dandruff. I promise this video is not sponsored. I use just a lot of nyx products but it helps me keep the dandruff out of my hair without having to put peppermint oil and things like that that I would put in my hair that would weigh it down while it's blown out so I'm going to put this on all my scalp and then just massage it again. One thing I will also say about this energetic scalp serum or treatment is that it really helps keep my hair detangled.
It makes it easier when I'm going through it and detangling it because it's that curly and just very, you know, and it's not even really curly, it's like we have a little wave, you know, uh, it just you know, it froze. quite a bit, um, it helps make it more manageable that way too because for some I don't. I know why, but for some reason it's easy and right when I say I found a nap, but for some reason it's so much easier to style my hair and do what I need with this product on my scalp.
I guess it just helps put vitamin C into the scalp which continues to make it healthy without all the dandruff and stuff, that's what we're doing, so what I use for heat protection is the heat protection serum ors and I also use cheese silk. infusion, but I'll have more. I actually prefer the silk chi infusion because it smells great and really works well at protecting against heat, plus it doesn't weigh down my hair or is something I would wear if I wanted to. My hair is a little heavier, it's a little oilier, so you can get both on Amazon, so I'll have the links for them in the description box below, but I prefer this cheek, it just smells, OMG!
Okay, but since I'm going to leave my hair blow-dried instead of straightening it, I think I'm going to do the ors um so it can be a little bit heavier and not as easy, um, I don't think so. I haven't experienced chi casting either, but again, I don't have much of that available, so I have a lot of hair. I need to buy more cheese. I have a lot of hair, so I have a little more. available in this one, so I'm going to use that one today and what I'm doing is I'm just putting a dime sized amount in my hair, like it starts out as a dime and then turns into a dime. twenty-five cents and put it in my hair. ends and at my roots and I just work it into my hair, especially don't forget the nape because that area can get damaged too and then I just make sure it's styled, look how easy it is to style. my hair, I don't know what it is about that scalp treatment and it's included with the conditioner, all the Nexus condition conditioners are going to put it together, it makes it a lot easier to manage so it's not bad at all so now we can blow. blow dry it and then do it there's a section and I'm going to put a little bit more on it to give it a little bit of oil and I'm going to braid this section after I'm done with the front part so I've got my hair in the two braids now I'm going to rock this for the rest of the day until it's time to get ready for the Halloween party and I read their flyer and it requires masks so that's awesome.
