4/12 C64 repair using a great $57 portable oscilloscope (ZEEWEII DSO1511G review)

for 150. of a second otherwise we'd get a lot of flicker but my North American monitor here doesn't have the ability to decode color buddy no matter what the settings are on the back of the monitor it's in monochrome so it's a negative point. It was capturing perfectly on the Retro tank because it has no problems decoding mate, but it's a shame there isn't an ntsc setting for this, but I guess it makes sense, which means you have a little limitation on where you can use this. Obviously a monochrome monitor like a small Apple monitor or something would work fine.

This Phillips 1084 square has no problem syncing to a 50 hertz signal, it just can't decode color, so you will get monochrome and there will be some flickering, so keep that in mind if you buy it. I'll have to put a little note in the video that it's not ntsc color, but rather pal.
