2022 Bolt EUV vs. 2022 Bolt EV - Chevrolet

Bolt EV versus the

2022

Bolt Euv and I'm going to be completely honest with you, these vehicles are almost exactly the same with just a few minor changes and I. I'm going to go over those here with you right now, so the biggest difference between these two is going to be the overall length, so we'll start with the

bolt

here, the overall length of this guy is going to be 163.2. inches, which is a little bit smaller than the 2021 and then if we go here to the euv, it's actually 169.5 inches, so 6.2 inches longer than the ev, which gives them a little more room and I'll show you exactly where.

Space comes into play here, so believe it or not, front legroom, front headroom, and rear headroom, are exactly the same in both vehicles, the big difference will actually be in the legroom in the rear so let's take a look at the ev here first so in the back of the ev you have 35.6 inches of legroom so it will be from here to the back of the seat there and in the euv you have an extra three and a half inches so that bigger guys like me. I'm six feet two inches tall, I can actually fit in here decently with that three and a half inches of legroom, which gives me a little bit more room and makes it a lot more comfortable for me now in the front seat, here we are.

I'm just going to take a quick look at the driver's area, so you have the steering wheel here in the door and then you have the center console with that newer, larger screen and we have these buttons here in the center instead of that lever that was there. in the previous generation and then if we take a look inside the euv, yes you guessed it, it's exactly the same so you have everything on the steering wheel on the left side here on the door, you have the same larger screen and then you have those same buttons down here and interestingly the space in the back is exactly the same 57 cubic feet of storage space if we fold the second row down otherwise I think it's barely 17 cubic feet in there so if we go by here it's exactly the same size, so you're not really gaining much by going from the ev to the euv as far as total cargo space, the only difference will be those extra three and a half inches in the back seat, which I don't really think which is a lot until you're a tall person, you sit back there and the difference between that and this as far as rear comfort goes, it's a lot nicer and you'd think the vehicle was six inches longer and a little bit bigger . the mileage on the euv is quite a bit less than the eevee, but that's not really the case, the euv only has nine miles less range than the ev, so it's at 250 and the ev is at 259.

So really the only difference is the legroom in the rear. If you're debating between the two and don't really use the second row much, you can get away with the ev instead of having to upgrade to the euv, but if you have slightly bigger people, you're going to go. Putting the euv in the back seat is definitely the way to go. I hope this answers all your questions and I'll see you next time.
