Hello DIY friends, today we're delving into these new Dollar Tree tricks. Everyone will love this. one because you only need a few things including of course a solar light from Dollar Tree and these beautiful glass bees that they also carry, also some super glue of course you can find this at Dollar Tree and we'll also pair it with a bit of hot glue and just placing them on the clear plastic parts of the sunlight working our way now the hot glue won't hold up to any kind of heat because of course it will melt so basically all we're doing here is using hot glue so we can surround the sunlight, but in the end our super glue is what will keep these beads in our sunlight for the long term, so you can see here.

I was able to get three rows of those glasses. beads on the clear plastic and why I did that because you can see at night the beautiful glow that this now gives off. I think it's so pretty. You can do this with multiple different colors of glass beads carried by the

dollar

tree

. one all green, one all blue and then I even made one in various colors, so pretty. I'm also really in love with these new solar lights that Dollar Tree now carries. It's the flames that shine, uh, solar lights that I was so excited about.

I thought it would be fun to incorporate these as well. Glass beads on the outside of this too to give it a nice shine once it's finished. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough glass beads left to cover the entire bulb, but if you're going to do this project, you obviously want to put in the work. go up to the top and cover everything so you have a really pretty look but this is just an idea I hope it inspires you but I still love the way the glass and lights bounce around. separated from each other to create a pleasant atmosphere.

I feel like these Dollar Tree pots are great on their own, they have a little bit of space between the bottom of the pot, basically, so you can then slide them in and slide them over a railing and then you have a nice little

patio

garden that you can create, but I have another idea of โ€‹โ€‹how you can use them instead of using them with soil and soil to create your own garden. What if you added ice and created your own patio ice bucket? It would be great next to a chair so you can have your drinks available.
This would also be great for a party. And then, speaking of cool

, they have these plastic watering balls. I've been known to kill plants basically just because I forget. to water them, so if you can find them and you're having trouble remembering to water your plants, grab them, it's so simple you just fill them to the top with water and then just place them in the soil of your pots, especially the hanging ones. The plants are the ones I have the most trouble with, they seem to dry out quicker so I add them to those baskets and then just water little by little as the soil dries out, you can see it will start to bubble and it shows you that. that water is now filling your soil, so that gives you a little extra time in case you forget to water your plants like I do.
My next favorite dollar tree outdoor item is right next to it here are their citronella incense sticks they actually work I finally got around to trying them out and I honestly think they work better than candles they come six to a pack and it's basically like a giant incense stick. I wanted to show you how to use them, although you can actually use these terracotta ones. The Dollar Tree pots have a small hole in the bottom and if you turn them upside down you can insert the incense sticks right in the middle so they stand upright.
I had this cute elephant pot that my mom gave me. as a gift so I put it there to make it a little more decorative and it would also help catch any falling ashes and then of course I'm obsessed with dollar tree lighters. I buy several of these at the beginning of the year and they last me all year and with these you actually light them up if there's a flame you really want to put that flame out and it will just burn and go down and you can see that releases that smoke which actually keeps the bugs away.
If you can't find the citronella sticks, grab these floating candles from Dollar Tree and one of their glass bubble vases, you want to fill that vase about three-quarters full with water and then I'm going to add some lemon and lime essential oils to my water, but Dollar Tree even carries lemon and lime juice that you can use too. I'm also going to add a little rosemary to the water, you can even put lemon and lime. slices in the water and then you can add your floating candle on top. Not only is it really pretty, but it also makes a beautiful insect repellent.
These will also work on windy days if you put the water low enough in the vase while floating. the candle will float low enough that the sides of the glass face will prevent the flame from going out, we deal with mosquitoes here, they are so bad you will have to let me know if you deal with them in your area too, more bug spray We can have the best around now for a pool noodle trick. I feel like you can use pool noodles for so many different things. We're also going to grab one of his broom handles.
We will combine them if you are looking. More pool noodle tricks. I have a Christmas video so I'll link it in the i cards and below so you can go back and watch it if you missed it. This one is for the outdoors, although we're going to cut our noodles up to about two feet long, remove the sticker, then we're going to take our knife and we're going to create a little x right in the center and that's where we're going to insert our broomstick, but to do that we will also use some super glue, i will link it in the description box below.
This is a great super glue that works with foam, metal, and plastic, so it will hold this hack together. Basically we're making a squeegee and when you're working with water or anything outside, whether it's your garage, sidewalk, deck, patio, cleaning things, this is very useful, literally, you can just move the water out of the way and this has It worked very well for us and is very economical and a very easy trick. Have you ever thought about using laundry baskets outside? They are perfect because they are made of waterproof plastic. They already have holes. Mine, unfortunately, I've had for a long time and there was a small hole in the bottom, but I didn't want to.
Throw it away because it will still work great for this trick. In fact, we will use it to store and organize our garden hose. I love this trick. I love this idea because it makes everything look good together and it's so easy. The garden hose is probably a good 20 feet long, so it also accommodates a fairly large garden hose. It's very easy to roll it up there, push it up with the faucet and it's ready for the next time you need it. I love this idea of โ€‹โ€‹hacking a Plastic Flower Pot from Dollar Tree. You can also use any pot you already have on hand or even a terracotta pot.
All you have to do is fill it with some sand. I like these pots from Dollar Tree because they don't really have holes in them. At the bottom, you can drill them if you need them, but they don't come with a hole, so none of our sand will fall out. Just fill it up as much as you can and then you can use it to store your garden tools, it does a couple of things, number one, it cleans them when you put them in the sand and it will also sharpen those tools for you. This is another amazing item and you will find it at Dollar Tree, they are basically called potting carts. because they have four wheels on the bottom so they can be moved now of course they are made so you can put your heavy pots and plants on them so you can move them if need be but another great idea is actually take your heavy bags of soil or tools that you are working with in the garden and you can use them to slide and move instead of picking everything up and moving it while you work in your garden, these plastics.
The tool boxes at Dollar Tree are amazing, very multifunctional, great for outdoors too, of course you can store your gardening tools in here to keep them dry, clean and organized, but what I do is I love keeping my seed packets in there Yes, I even get my seeds. packages from Dollar Tree and what I actually do as well is I save some clips in there as well from Dollar Tree. I like to do that so I can put them in each packet and every time I need to access the seeds, I can pop them. Pour out what I need, put a clip back in and everything stays nice and clean, organized and being in the toolbox everything stays dry too.
