Learning To Fingerboard Again...

Apr 09, 2024
You should know that for as long as I can remember I've been able to do things on a tuning fork and it seems normal to me, but whenever one of my friends has a tuning fork and is trying to do things, he always asks me how to do tricks. and I'm like, oh man, that was close, so of course, bro, what are you doing? Just do it, buddy, I'm trying to move your fingers like this, no, it's actually not that hard, do it, I can't do it, I can. I don't, but have you ever tried playing the fretboard with your opposite hand?

It's legit, like being a complete beginner, so to put myself in my friend's shoes, today I'm going to learn to think

again

with my left hand, which is more or less. I started from scratch, so let's do it guys, come on, come on, I have this item, tech deck, if you didn't know someone who had this deck, what rock have you been under my brother, wind, water, fire, earth, because we're training to be the avatar here, the master avatar of both hands for the fretboard, but when the world needed him most, he disappeared, so my brother and I found the new avatar, an Australian guy named Bruce.

And? When I started skating, I pushed but decided to train myself. not pushing and I forced myself to push normally now I can push and normally and they both feel pretty much the same because I force myself to be able to ride normally I feel like I can force myself to be able to do tricks with my left hand, I have a list of tricks that I want to do kick flip tray flip nollie flip kick flip manual nose grind manual varial back side flip front side flip big spin I don't know how ambitious this list is, but those are the main tricks I want to try and do last time I tried to review the deck with the left hand, I found that kickflips were much easier than normal ollies, so I guess we'll start with a kickflip that was close on the second try, that's okay because the third time is the charm. this might be a lot harder than I thought it was going to be the deep ending it's not scary come on but take me with you oh you're almost extreme mana extreme mana it's about momentum it's about power we stayed hungry we devour, I mean it wasn't such a nice kick, but I'll try to clear it two to make it true two to make it true two to make it true I know I just want to land a really clean one, one that I can feel I'm getting better, although no, no, I followed that.

I think I figured out what I'm doing wrong when I do a kick flip with my left hand. I think of it as two steps like pop and flick, but when I do it with my right hand, it's just one move, brother, this is the first trick song I wrote for you. I will always be wrong when you need someone to turn to. Oh come on just one please yeah next trick I think it will be. It'll be a lot easier it's a tre flip if I get this first try I'll jump in the lake okay here we go I mean does that count?

Oh, I also just want to thank tech deck for sponsoring this video. I'm going to try to perform a layup turn with my right hand and then go straight to a translator with my left hand. It was a tree turn, no no no I still do this it's not a layup turn it's like a 360 degree heel in I just need to focus. Moving in that direction, there we go, that was a tree jump, so you should know everything normal about tricks, I just have them on automatic, like I don't really have to think about doing them at all, but when I use my left hand it's like full focus mode it's like it's going to quickly eliminate some of the really easy tricks like pop shelves and all that oh this feels weird recording with my right hand let's do a line let's pop it, push it and then a big twist, the guy is going to switch with your opposite hands like a double switch, let's try a burial, I think I saw you, yeah, this whole video is going to be me struggling to do tricks, I don't know what, yeah, move that null.
Ghost pop do it than the normal kick flip okay I'm going to try the fakie flip baby yeah riding the fakie is definitely a lot easier it just makes it a lot easier to perform the tricks because you don't really have to chase the board with your finger, it just appears, but maybe buddy, I don't know if I can give this a head-on, okay, we'll try, we'll try, it's meant to be, hey you. They sent it to me, it wasn't like it in every way, but I think that's the closest I'm going to get to a front flip.
The last ground flying trick on my list is a back flip, oh that was an ollie I wonder if. I can ollie on purpose, no, oh it's so annoying because I know exactly what to do. I just can't get my hand to do it. That completes all the flat tricks. Now let's try some things on some ramps. I feel like that means left. hand impossible flip

again

the last tricks I want to do uh manual nose manual and manual kickflip which I don't know about manual kickflip man my kickflips aren't very consistent but manual and manual nose should be pretty easy although true or something I don't know why you mean, okay, kick flip manual.
I'm actually doing the flip more consistently when I try to do it. Actually, I'm trying to do it. Something is forcing me to do the move correctly, so that was great. see you later oh my god yes I have completed all the tricks I wanted to do oh hey I'm about to go to bed I play the piano and when I'm

learning

a song I always learn it one day and I'm not like that . great at it, then I go to sleep and wake up the next day and I can play it much better than before.
I can't explain it and I don't know why, but it works. I'm going to go to sleep and get up in the morning and see if I'm better off gluten free wake up wake up wake up time to wake up to see if my sleep has helped me with my left-handed fretboard playing skills kick, spin first try hey, that it felt a lot easier than it did yesterday, to end the video I'm going to do a little edit of the left handed fretboard, yeah I hope you enjoyed it. I also want to thank tech deck again for sponsoring the video, thanks tech deck, check them out on instagram or all their links are in the description, yeah I hope you enjoyed the video.
