Jun 02, 2021
There is a big but. There was one detail in Christine's story that was not public knowledge. It's pretty bad, so cover your ears for a second if you don't want to hear this. Well, I feel like it's all been pretty bad, well, Christine told the police that she had "cut off some of her fucking hair and stuck it in her fucking pussy." Yes. The police said, "Okay, she knows something. She knows something." When they found Elizabeth's body, whoever did this had in fact cut off some of Elizabeth's hair and stuffed it into her nether region. Like this person.

What did you do? I

have

many questions. Tic-tac-toe, hair cut in half. Whatever, unfortunately it was

done

. I mean this poor Elizabeth. This information was not public knowledge, no one knew this small detail except the police. They sit down with Christine and say, "Look, we know you're lying. Things aren't going well," and that's when Christine broke down and her story just fell apart. Christine said that she had a girlfriend who worked for the LAPD and that she was the one who told her about her hair situation, and that's how Christine got the information from her. The police say, you know, "Why did you lie?

Why did you waste our time?" and they said that two days before Elizabeth's body was found, Christine had woken up with blood all over her clothes and his shoes, but he didn't remember what had happened because he was drinking a lot at the time. Christine said she went straight to the police with her bloody clothes and told them: "I think I did something." When she was there, they didn't take her seriously at all and she ended up leaving. She probably killed someone and she thinks, Elizabeth, they probably should

have

checked it. She said she was really struggling with this, like I was sitting with her, and I was thinking about it, and that's when she decided to come forward and try to confess again, because she just couldn't live with herself knowing that she may have killed someone.

You would think the police would fact check the girl who told Christine about her hair situation. Shouldn't this have led investigators to dig a little deeper and find out why that person told Christine in the first place? She just finds out what that was all about, right? Maybe that person was involved or causing a distraction in the

case

on purpose. For some reason, the police did not go to question who leaked the information in the first place. This story had become a media sensation, sketches and letters were arriving from all over the United States showing her support or interest in this

case

In 1950, a sketch arrived at one of the North Carolina police departments. It was a drawing that said "Dahlia Killer. Look for this man," and it was like a drawing of a man. The North Carolina Police Department sent the sketch to the Los Angeles Police Department and honestly, when you look at this drawing, it's funny... It's not funny, but it's kind of cute. But he looks exactly like George. While the gruesome murder of Elizabeth Short remains

unsolved

, there is still one suspect that remains in the minds of police, a person they believed could have been the killer and would fit the profile, like ticking all the boxes.
All signs pointed toward Cleveland, Ohio. So in Cleveland, Ohio, there was a series of very disturbing murders. I was going to say suspicious, but honestly, just disturbing. And these murders were happening before Elizabeth's body was found. Why does this tie into Elizabeth's story? The victims that were found in Cleveland, they were found cut in half, like cut in half, just like Elizabeth was found. It was about a serial killer who cut up his victims in a manner very similar to the way Elizabeth's body was found. The serial killer became known as "The Cleveland Torso Killer", and had "moved west", where it is believed that The Black Dahlia may have been his last murder.
And that, my friends, is the

unsolved

mystery

surrounding the gruesome murder of Elizabeth Short. Thoughts? Also remember how I mentioned that there was a game of tic-tac-toe on Elizabeth's body? I've spent a lot of time on this and I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it got me thinking: when was the last time you played tic-tac-toe alone? Do you think maybe there was more than one person involved? Someone has to be the But then again, reading The Cleveland Torso Killer sounds gross, but it fits her style, and maybe he traveled to California and actually killed her, or what if George was The Cleveland Torso Killer?
Tune in next week, folks, where we'll dive deeper into that story. Normally I don't give a spoiler, but I do now, because it's like a sequel, but it's also a separate story on its own. We'll talk about it next week. Hopefully this wasn't too confusing. I feel like I simplified it a lot and made it easy, right? Well ok. Let me know what your guys think below. Who did it? I need to hear your theories. I want to say a huge thank you to Hunt A Killer for collaborating with me on today's video. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
