One is that our son here did not have a birth certificate. We have been

travel

ing for 14 months we never used it we never had it but now they hardly let us in so now we promised to email it later when we are at the hotel and another thing we had to throw away all the cheese and meat we had because we couldn't It is allowed to bring it because of mad cow disease, so if you go to Namibia, those two things are things to think about, but yesterday we were in Amia, we crossed the border from South Africa to Namibia and I already noticed that it is terribly hot here, it's almost all desert, so we're staying in a town called Kat Mon's Hoop, which is in the middle of nowhere, but it took us about 5 hours to get here and it will take us another 5 hours.

For the first destination we are going to visit a beautiful place here in Namibia, so we left the caravan right here and stayed 2 days in this lovely hotel with garden, swimming pool, air conditioning, rooms, which is very nice. by the way, at this moment and the restaurant, a little relaxation and then we move on to the flying sauces, which will be the first side of Namibia and this city is so typical of Namibia that suddenly a whole society arises in the middle of the landscape desert, you can easily spend hours in the car here to get to any form of life and that is exactly why we are enjoying this wonderful Oasis as much as we can.

It also gives me a chance to do some work here because I have a lot of ground to cover with all the videos, I'm still in Australia I'm editing so wow guys we're driving to Sausage Flight and it's a couple of hours more driving to the campground and if I look out the window it's like the The sky is on fire The sun is setting and this is one of the most beautiful skies I've ever seen in my life look what an adventure guys we drove for 5 hours and a half and at the beginning, the first two hours, Su was driving in the supermarket.
Smooth roads and suddenly it became a D car rally and that was the part I was driving of course, uh, so now we're in cesim, it's almost 12:00 midnight and it's time to put the gears together. tents. sleep because this is the entrance to the sausage fly, we had a perfect night's rest, guys, and we needed that silence here remotely in the desert and last night everything was pitch black, so we still didn't see anything of the surroundings and this. Tomorrow at 8:00 we were woken up by the hot African sun in our tents right there and then we saw the surroundings, they look amazing but it is nothing compared to the place we are going today because the SAA fly is supposed to be still more beautiful. let's leave the shops and go we get used to Namibia quite quickly it's a trip back in time and you hardly meet anyone on the way the country is about 1 and a half times bigger than France but they only live a little more than 2 millions of people here and where we are going now no one lives at all welcome to the oldest and driest desert in the world on the way to the saus flight there is a 60 km stepped road, you can drive it with any car to the parking lot from where you can go with a 4x4 shuttle but on the way you already see some beautiful places like the Junes on the side of the road and they have come up with super original names it must have taken them a lot of time this is June 40 behind me in These first Junes we see the landscape for which the IIA is so famous.
The highest June here is around 325 M. Researchers have measured the most hours of sunshine here of any place on Earth and sometimes it doesn't rain here for 10 years, so you'd think life couldn't exist here, but that's not even the case. I love those boxes of gems that we take to next June, guys with an equally original name because it's June 45. Hey, she's a very balanced person so far and this was just the appetizer after 60 kilometers of beautiful landscape of June uh we ended up in this parking lot guys and the road ends here the curvy road uh you can only go on a 4x4 road we have a 4x4 but I wouldn't go there because I have a professional driver here, a transport surface that you can take to see fly the sace and then you will be sure not to get stuck in the sand, so let's do it.
I just got a little confirmation that we shouldn't drive ourselves because the white car here behind me. I just talked to the guys and they got stuck in the sand yesterday and were only able to get out today, so they slept in the car all night waiting for help, that's why we didn't drive ourselves into the fire. Sun, we also see Spring Box and Gams Box again. If you were to Google Namibia, you would probably find photos of a particular place. The fountains fly, so flying means a dead end in March and it's right in the middle of the desert, a bigger desert because it's all. part of Nam nlu National Park, but we are only visiting sausa fly because it is easy to get to.
It's right inside the national park and everything looks pretty much the same except for one place and that's the dead fly, it's behind the hills right here. and it is the most emblematic place in Namibia. In half an hour we'll see the dead fly behind the Junes there, from the parking lot, but I recommend you go in the morning because it's getting late and warmer and the sand will get. It's hot and in the morning everything is fine, so now it's still fine, but on the way back it will be hotter, this is it guys, the most iconic part of my trip in Namibia, this is the sausa fly and behind From me is the dead fly, the Valley of Death.
You can see the dead trees that make it so iconic, hence the name Death Valley with the red junipes behind. I think it's a unique side to everyone and it also reminds me a little of that part of Savanah where Simba isn't there. His father allowed him to enter The Lion King. Impressively, the characteristic trees of this valley are almost 1,000 years old and therefore sitting or climbing on the trees is strictly prohibited. Oddly enough, some idiots do this, so I'm taking a lot of pictures. here just walking around in Dead Fly and what I didn't tell you yet is that I'm the only living soul here on this floor there's no one, it makes sense because it's turning into midday and it's too hot for everyone so I should Come back too Asus and The Yans are already coming back because the sun is burning, but look at this, if I dropped dead here, it would really be Death Valley because only the vultures would find me.
I will return too, oh God. Camera through hot sand. We walk back to our driver and on the way back we pass by the biggest June in the park called Big Papa, what do you think guys? I'm back, it's incredibly hot and I don't want to announce, but this. coke right here M, that's the best sip of coke I've ever had in my life, let's get back to camp, what a day guys, we got to witness the most beautiful sites Namibia has to offer here in the world famous astute views and all, but there is one thing I would like more right now and that is a cool pool.
We found one at the entrance. There is a campground called s fly Lodge and we are going to do some snorkeling there in the pool while we have camp. Here and along with our campsite, it looks like we have a pet that we are going to travel with through Namibia and some other African countries, but for now that is a summary, but for now, my goodness, guys, these roads we are on driving through Namibia. and from Sausage Fly to Walvis Bay is probably the most horrible road I have ever been on in my life. There's nothing just sand and no houses or towns, nothing, so I hope you don't get stuck.
You can drive here all day without encountering any towns. The only life on the way is the Gams box that appears everywhere, but this changes when we reach the coast, so let me give you a little update. We just arrived in wvis Bay here in Namibia and we have a little problem because the car is having problems uh on the kon ring we had already changed the clutch because it broke on the way and now we discovered that the car still doesn't have as much power as we expected um it's very heavy but out in the desert and in the hills of the mountains we felt like we were just having trouble um yeah just dealing with all that so now in W Bay we're going to try to find a shop again call the company and see what they want us to do, uh and I think in the meantime we're going to have to find a hotel.
I don't think there are many campsites here so I'll keep you posted because we've been traveling for 13 months now and I don't want to be stuck in Walis Bay for the rest of my life, what if I just lost it? But even if we do, it's not even that bad. In Namibia we feel isolated from the outside world and suddenly this is a luxury we didn't have. I don't expect to change my clothes a thousand times, feel worse because of what I see, so with the broken car and all I keep thinking is that we can enjoy ourselves here at WF es Bay because look at this pool and look at the room, right?
Over here at Iris Boutique Hotel guys, it's amazing. I love it. Don't know. I don't know, but I'm finding out. I can't even post a photo. Boutique Hotel is practically empty and we only paid about 50. dollars a night with breakfast and a pool face standing in front of the mirror so guys I just called the company and they told me this pipe might have come loose because of the roads of land and that was it, it's easy to fix and we I'll be on the road in no time but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy this hotel oh yeah all by myself when I'm serious guys the only thing I needed was this screwdriver because the pipe is already fixed.
Back on the road it's time to head to wvis Bay to see where we end up my demons. Faith, now this stop Wellis Bay is a tourist spot on the coast of Namibia, but it is also a very important place for locals because it has the largest seaport in the entire country, it is the second largest city after the capital, Vin Hook, as its name suggests, volis, means whales. You can see some whales along the coast here, but it's not the right time of year because we are here in early spring. and later this year there will be a lot of them and you can do some wailing tours so today is not for us but we will sleep by the flamingo lagoon and if you ask me it is also really fun to drive around and see all sides of the city.
They might as well have called the place Flamingo Bay. First we drive a little south of Wvis Bay because there we find one of the most important products of this region. Behind me are the salt mines and they are in an extraordinary place. between the lagoons where all the flamingos are in the sea here and there is the beginning of the desert with the great Junes like the end of the world and that is a feeling that often predominates in Namibia as if time has stopped here. and the rest of the world simply does not exist and if we drive a little further south we see a beautiful phenomenon called pink lake, look at this color guys the surroundings of wvis bay look like an abstract work of art and not only here a little east to Wvis Bay, we also drive a bit into the desert with the pretty Junes, some lagoons and it is also a protected area for birds.
There are many birds here. 92% of Namibia is made up of desert and savannah and after the Sahara this is. the driest place on Earth, having said that here on the coast, the contrast with the sea is truly impressive. We continue along the coast and this is the most beautiful route you can drive in Namibia from Wvis Bay. We drove about half an hour to the north through the most beautiful desert overlooking the deep blue ocean and this is an even more welcoming town than Wolfis Bay because it is Swago Moon with lots of German colonial history.
I'll show you the city and Swaco Moon actually in German means The mouth of the river swakop and swakop is made up of the local words T and K which mean anus and excrement. In fact, the river got its name from the poop thatfloated into the Atlantic Ocean in 1892. It was the Germans who gave the city a completely different image because of the rich German history there are many beautiful colonial buildings in the city we swim today we take a short walk and a short walk with the beautiful weather and the one behind me is the first this is the huolon house the hu Zar house is just one of many examples of the architecture you can find here, all built in the Neo Barck style, it's like I'm walking through Germany guys, What do you think of a woman's house behind me?
This important Tria building was later also a school and a hostel for The UNESCO world heritage site sailors obviously had a violent colonial past, but today the town has a completely different character, they still speak a little German here, but it's actually Namibia, what a cozy little town guys, swaka MO, it's really nice to walk around, especially with this weather and all the beautiful buildings, and we saved the best. Lastly, because this is the oldest and most beautiful lighthouse in all of Namibia, we also visited the vibrant and atmospheric Swack Ofman Beach, so we are just eating our sandwiches and having a little picnic in town, here in Swaka.
Moon next to the playground and now it's all for families and the kids are very Co Town, but it used to be a place where they hunted whales a lot, so this is right next to the playground, it's pretty scary, thank goodness , they don't do that. more just come back come back yes, this is a place of great contrast, unique and truly the highlight of Namibia. I never wanted to see you cry, let me know that was the reason it was over, you live one life, I needed what you gave. For me you are a living dream I don't know, you are not an enemy, you felt it even though we were going down and only after a beautiful sunny day under the moon, it was time to find a camp and we found a beautiful one with the car there we are going to We set up the tents on the roof and we have our own small private bathroom and toilet building.
They do it a lot in Namibia and South Africa too. We love. Tomorrow will be the time to see more of this beauty. Coast they call the Skeleton Coast, we will visit the National Aquarium, kind of like the marine life of Namibia and we will find some seals along the coast in Cape Cross, so we will do that tomorrow and now it's time to relax because I'm tired of waiting until we get wet after about a month. I really recommend camping with a 4x4 as we drove through the most rugged landscapes. We always have everything with us.
You are the extinguished light on a lonely day, although we don't even need it. That amount, girl, you saved me, it's just not all we need, like everything we live and breathe, so you won't stay here and we set up the tents on the roof every night in 5 minutes, how amazing is that? We were going down and just one thing, I know, something I know, could you good morning guys, it's still early and we have a lot to do today. The first thing we will do is visit the national marine aquarium, a species of Namibian marine life, uh, everything that you can see off the coast here in the deep blue ocean is in here for us to see, so instead of diving there, it is much easier, so let's explore the marine life of Namibia.
The National Aquarium is highly recommended, especially if you bring children. I didn't expect there to be so much to see and we even learned a few things. There is also a lot to see outside near the actual ocean. The National Aquarium is not really big. You can spend about half an hour. 1 hour. there, but I have to say that it is really worth it because you can see all the fish that live along the coast here in Namibia and also the price is very reasonable because we paid around $30 Namibian dollars for adults which is approximately at $2 us and Yen only paid $1 Namibian dollar which is 6 so we are going to sail along the coast again, the skeleton coast to the north and we start here at the pier in swun, the Namibian landscape continues to amaze us in the edge of every city we drive through completely.
Out of civilization and back into an endless no man's land, we are driving along that beautiful coast in Namibia and it is called the Skeleton Coast. What I haven't told you yet is where the name comes from. It has a lot to do with all the bones. and the skeletons that washed up on the shores here of animals like seals and whales that were hunted here, but also of humans because there have been many shipwrecks in recent centuries here, which has everything to do with the currents and the rough seas behind. Yo the best example you can find is the ship called zyla it's behind me there it has that creepy vibe and it's from 2008 so not that long ago just 15 years and that's why it's so beautifully preserved you can Viewed from the coast and is about 14 km south of Hy Bay, the old fishing boat Zyla had been sold by Namibian fishermen to an Indian company.
They were supposed to tow it from Walas Bay to Mumbai, but as you can see, it didn't get very far. The next step will be just as special because some completely different places appear on the coast there, so guys, we drove a little further north and ended up in Cape Cross, a little north of Hy Bay, and it's famous for this guy from here. and thousands of their friends and when you enter the park around here the conservation area you already smell them uh there are thousands and together the smell of urine is really disgusting uh so I'm going to walk around here a little to see these guys and then I'll come back quickly to the car because I'm not going to take long on this, but is it worth it?
Oh yeah, the spectacle that takes place here on the water is something you don't see every day, so guys, I'm here on my own because the stench is so strong that Susan Yans decided to stay in the car. I'm here. She's never seen so many seals in my life and they sound a little like there are thousands upon thousands of chewy bacas around me. I don't know if you're Star Wars fans, but they sound like, uh, I know what you mean, chewy, so we continue driving through an otherworldly landscape again where you find almost nothing along the way in Tiny Town with the strange name of Oiz.
We found a wonderful oasis for our next stay when we crossed the border from South Africa, first we went to the sausage fly and from there we went up the coast sailing the so-called Skeleton Coast in Swakopmund and saw the seals there we saw too. some shipwrecks visited the aquarium and now we go deeper into the land uh in the middle of the desert and this is where we sleep as you can see you have these houses where you can park your vehicle with your tents on the roof and you have your own bathroom and your own bathroom, so that's amazing about Namibia and now we are half way to Atosha for the Safari so let's go guys and we still love camping with the British 4x4s, we have everything with us and we sleep under the African sky full of Stars, for right, this is a small town called ouis and we are in a camp called Cactus and Coffee Tea Garden with a kitchen and a bathroom included.
We only paid about 25 dollars a night. Wow guys, when we drive on these dirt roads towards atosha in the safari park uh we see so many traditional African villages uh with these little huts and where the people are barely naked wearing traditional African clothes this is Africa these people live so remote they are super happy with some food or water, but unfortunately It can also be a little dangerous to stop here, so you think you've already had all the luck in bed, then we got a flat tire, but we're lucky because only one car passes by and this gentleman He has some experience, very good as new.
In total we drove about 6 hours from the coast through no man's land to get to the iosha safari area and we can't believe our eyes when we see what we booked so it took us a little longer to get to the iosha national park iosha. Because we had to change a tire on the way, a bit of bad luck, but this behind me is certainly not bad luck. We booked a room for a change at a luxurious lodge called Toari Lodge on our camping trip. I'll show you the room. and we also have a super nice pool and a great evening buffet dinner.
This will be a great Safari, of course this costs something. We paid around €50 per night here, but we are in the best place near the front door. the safari park and i have to say its worth the price check it out guys a bit strange but all the animals you see inside the safari park but you can eat them here in the restaurant like a spring BG or a steak wild bees or a Kudo, yes, yes, I'll have my pea soup right now, but maybe later, good morning guys, the sun is up here in Atosha National Park, it's still early, let's have breakfast and then it will be time for the first Drive game. going to Safari we are going to look for four of the big five because they have lions, rhinos, elephants and leopards here they don't have buffaloes so it's a shame, but let's go look for the rest, let's go from our lodge it's about a 25 minute drive to the gates of etosha national park and there is a fuel station in the middle and I suggest using that fuel station and filling your fuel tank to the max because you don't want to get stuck among the Lions and go there with your jerrycan all the way and don't I think you are going to realize that Iosha National Park was founded in 1907 and this makes it more than 100 years old.
The interior is a large salt flat surrounded by bushes. and it is one of the largest natural parks in all of southern Africa. If all goes well, we will see many different animals inside, so let's go inside and find out why this is a place you can't miss when you travel. in Namibia every time you start your Safari for the first time in one of the parks, it is always exciting which animal you will see first, it will be a lion, it will be an elephant and in this case it was the ostrich no, it is not that bad soon we will also see many of these lilac breasted rollers these birds are just flying works of art when you drive inosa in the summer it's terribly hot so the animals will all gather at the waterholes this is your best chance to see them uh so on our way to the first water hole we already saw a solitary giraffe just outside here despite the heat we see many animals in February because they are constantly looking for food and drinking water and that of course also attracts predators, we see many Cape ground squirrels and they have some huge nuts.
We also see spring box and many birds such as the crown jumping wing and this pale singing gosol. We also see a lot of these faed imp shovels and that's actually it. Why I chose this dramatic music, we can witness a gem between two young males on the other side. A group of Kudos also enjoy the fight. Unfortunately, this beautiful species of antelope is often on the menu in Namibia. It's always fun at Safari parks. that in the zoo you have the animals in the cages, but here when you want to go to a picnic place or to the bathroom you have to go inside the cage, so we are in the cage and the animals are outside the next animal.
What we find in large numbers is the impressive zebra, sometimes they run in groups of up to 50. We have already seen many birds of prey like this lesser chest, but I think it is about time we found some larger predators, so we are crossing the park now for a couple of hours and it's 1:00 p.m. uh it's terribly hot outside, what's it doing now? 37° 37 C so yes if I were a lion I would go swimming in one of those water holes but we haven't seen any in the water holes yet we have seen a lot of things like antelope birds but yes we are waiting to the big five and the predators, so let's keep looking guys, seeing thousands of abdominal STS and also this Cory's bustard, the big five are actually closer than we think, so we're looking at all the pretty birds. there I was counting them, I think, but then in the back I suddenly see a much larger animal, Rhino, yes, a rhinoceros, we even see several and they get very close, the Rhino is in serious danger of extinction because it is very haunted , which makes our meeting even more. special, the second of the Big Five, the elephant, oh my gosh, guys, we stopped at one of the camps called halali and we went into the store to buy an ice cream or a souvenir and outside there was a horn, Bill, like in The Lion.
King called Zazu and he was eating a butterfly, she was attacking him so amazing, even during our lunch break we see squirrels and many different birds. This is the purple wood hoop and the gray lury, so you should fall in love with whatever you want. gave, give more, you have night, there are animals everywhere we look, we even see Mongo and different species of horned beaks and this here is the southern black corhan and a beautiful gray kite and then suddenly cheetahs, finally it's predator time because we also see a lot of lions, whatever you take, make water, so you will fall in love with you, whatever you are going to take, some, you have wow, guys, we already saw so many animals today, but it's time of today's final destination, which will be in Oka quo a.
Very difficult name for the camp thatIt has a lost water hole where we are supposed to see rhinos and elephants if we are lucky, too bad for now it's just zebras, but when the sun sets in Africa anything can happen, my goodness guys. I was a little disappointed by the last water hole. I wanted to see a rhino and we didn't, so on the way back I told Seuss. I'm sure we'll see one more rhino. I am safe and simple. Before the doors we saw this big rhino right next to the car that we made in African style thanks to the musical.
Hotel staff. Good morning guys, the sun is high here at the hostel and we all had a good night's rest, although I must say it was still there. Searching for animals in my dreams I had a crazy Space Safari night, however we are looking forward to the second day here in Atosha and search for more animals, come on guys I can't get over it, we see so many animals in iosia here. There are some nakaka pigeons and this here is the marabou. Today we do one of the northern routes of the park and drive right along the southern edge of the largest Salt Flat in the middle of Atosha, as you can see behind me this stretches for miles and this is also a place where you can see cheetahs where they can reach high speeds when catching their prey, so I'm going to head back to the car.
A large group of welding beasts emerges in the forest and it looks like they have little children, how wonderful, so we have been following the signs that say bathroom for about half an hour. It's like a picnic spot where you can go to the bathroom and we found it and this is the In the bathroom we stopped immediately because we saw a group of elephants, it's a whole family, I think there are about 15 of them and they have little ones. The last animal I want to show you is the red heart beast and then we leave the park, that's it guys.
For today's episode and we finish the Atosha Safari in style at a local restaurant called KFC African Fried Chicken, stay tuned because next time we take a little border crossing into Botswana, I promise it will be an adventurous episode with lots of ups and downs, so subscribe. For even more adventures and of course the continued search for the ciao leopard.
