video I want to show you the best SUV that you can buy right now, as well as three other SUVs that are It's a good one to buy if you're looking for something that fits the whole family, has four-wheel drive, and looks great too.

The first SUV on

list is probably without a doubt the most reliable, but it is also the oldest and most outdated and that is the Toyota 4Runner. Now this style 4Runner has been around for a long time, over 10 years, and the reason this one isn't on my list as the best SUV you can buy right now is because a new one is coming. It's coming out very very soon now just because it's not the best on this list doesn't mean it's the worst, it's actually very high at the top of the list and that's because the 4Runner has a lot of good things going for it and some things that I really don't like and also because there's a new 4Runner coming out later this year, which means there are some really good deals on this outgoing 4Runner that I've seen at this dealership, now I'm going to get started. showing you some of the lower priced ones and then how expensive one of these 4Runners can't be and I want to start by showing you this SR5 trim level because it's one of the cheapest ones I've found in this lot and it gets pretty interesting so the SR5 is pretty basic, it doesn't have chrome trim, big wheels, aggressive tires or anything, it's just basic.

Same with this white SR5, here you still have a roof rack, a tow hitch and a window tent, and when you get in that's where it gets a little old and dated and as you can see here, this interior has been pretty much the same for the life of the 4Runner, including the steering wheel, they have made some changes over the years to slowly improve it, things like adding a screen, improving the age group aspect of the game, and also designing better equipment of change in recent years, but everything else has been pretty much the same for a long time and that makes it difficult to compete with. many of the new vehicles that have come out recently like the Ford Bronco and if you are wondering how much an SR5 trim level costs, let me show you this is actually a 2024

Now the trim on these gets a little nicer but also with that the price goes up and that's where this TRD Pro comes in and they've usually been pretty hard to find in many but I actually found two of them. them, one of this brand. new color for 2024 and there's another way to get there to make the TRD Pro a little prettier. You get some more aggressive wheels with all-terrain tires. You have S side steps that make access easier because they are a little higher. than the SR5, you have a trunk that fits a lot more stuff because it's stronger and a little bigger and when you get in, the interior is pretty much the same, but it's trimmed a little more elegantly, you have red stitching. the leather over here and the leather goes all the way to the door instead of the SR5 being mostly plastic you get these more aggressive rubber mats to keep the mud and dust off the carpet and then if you notice the whole switch on the middle of the dash is actually a lot nicer instead of a knob here like you saw on the other one, you have all these switches because you get heated seats, defrosting and a lot more options when it comes to the Navigation and Infotainment Center.

The rest of this switch is pretty similar, but it has this carbon fiber trim piece here that I think looks really cool and there's also some fun stuff above the rearview mirror, so you have the button to turn off the trash control. you have extra buttons here that you can put your accessories on you have the garage door opener you have the sunroof buttons right here because this one has a sunroof and it also comes with the rear differential lock and like the Bronco it has a few different driving modes which you can see here where you can switch to driving modes.

This looks more like a desert and sand. This is more like a rock crawl here, so it just fades out so you know what you're doing depending on. like light sand or rock crawling which I think is cool but like I said the TRD Pro gets pretty expensive this is also a 2024 model in the new color called Terra and it will cost you $57.4 and if you look at the window, there is no discount most of the time, there are never discounts on TRD Pros, so that pretty much goes with it now, like I said, there is a new 4Runner coming out soon and I know in a few months it will be revealed, but until then .

This is still not the best SUV you can buy right now and it will come up later in the video, but the next one I want to show you is something I also have, but before I look at the next vehicle, I found something really cool that I haven't seen yet. This is a new 2024 Toyota Tacoma and this is the first time I've seen one in person and I honestly think it looks great, this is the TRD off road version and like most TRDs. The wheels are always black and it has the new Trail terrain from BF goodr and as you can see it's the new one, it has new headlights, these new vents underneath that are actually just fake vents, but the funny thing is the fins are actually real. venting down here and the front looks really good and there's something that I thought was really cool but also really fun on the inside and that's this screen is really huge.

I think it's a cool upgrade to have the screens here, but This one is just incredibly large, but sitting inside, it's definitely an improvement from the previous model. The steering wheel actually still has the same Toyota design, but looks a little sharper and more modern. It has charging stations for your phone. The gear lever. Really nice, all the electronics and controls are here in the center of the dash, you've got two cup holders here and more modern looking controls for the air conditioning system here and physical buttons which are really nice and the seats aren't too nice.

Bad either, but I'll have to come back here to do another video specifically about this truck. Let me show you the next SUV on this list. Now the next SUV on this list doesn't suffer from some of the outdated things that the 4Runner has. and that's the Jeep Wrangler now, obviously the Wrangler has been around basically as long, if not longer, than the 4Runner, but over time the jeep has kept up with technology much better and what I'm specific about, Al I'm talking about the engines. Look, with the 4Runner you only have one engine option and that engine has been around for a long time and has very little power, sure, it's super super reliable and probably lasts a billion miles, but nowadays people want a lot more power, especially if you're going to go off-road or tow any type of trailer or do overland construction the more you put in there the heavier your vehicle gets the slower the 4Runner will be but with Jeep you actually get four engine options and some of the engines. go really crazy, this is a 2024 Rubicon with the extreme Recon package that gives you a little lift over the factory bumpers, a winch, 17 inch wheels with 35 inch tires and these fer flares that look really cool and This has the first engine.

That is also the oldest Jeep engine that has been in these since the JK and it is the 3.6L Penar V6, but it has an 8 speed transmission which actually helps this older engine stay at the correct RPM depending on a wherever you go and that is the first engine. option you get on these now, the second engine option you get on Jeep is also the engine I have in my yellow Jeep over there and that is the 2L 4 cylinder turbo engine and I have driven both the V6 and the new turbo 4 cylinder in these jeeps and surprisingly I prefer the turbo, I prefer the turbo.

I thought I would know I would stick with the old V6, but the turbo engine has a lot more power, especially when we went up the mountain passes, the V6 was slow and tended to lose power and run out of gas, but the 2L Turbo increases that boost and just power through those mountain passes and the third engine option is a little bit interesting because it also makes them a lot more expensive and that's this one here with the 2L turbo powered by some batteries in the hybrid electric motor and as you can see it has a charging port right here that you can open up and plug in, but they tend to be pretty expensive and we'll go over the prices on each of these in just a second, but the final option that you get is, in my opinion, the best engine option you can get now we have four engine options which is pretty crazy and the third engine option is right behind me in this black Jeep Wrangler that's the 392 V8 with more than enough horsepower and more than enough torque to crawl over anything and while these Jeeps are really cool and serve a special purpose, they've always been a bit more expensive, but the reason it's not the best SUV on this list again, that comes at the end of this video because you've probably never heard of the one you'll see again on this list and I even got to drive it and we'll give it a full walkthrough so stay tuned but one of the reasons these aren't the best on this list, at least for now in early 2024, is that prices have gone incredibly high on this white that we reviewed with the The Extreme Recon package and the V6 engine is $74,500,2365 and this white here, which is basically a Sahara high trim level with electric motors, it's $72,000, but they have some cheaper trim levels and I'll show you that in just a second. because we have yet to look at the price of the 2024 392 Rubicon and this will set you back a whopping $96,700.

Now Jeep has options that are not rubicons, not hybrids, not 392s, that start a little cheaper like this Willies here, but it's a higher trim level Willie and I'll show you on the sticker, so this is a 2024. You can see that the base price of this four-door Willie starts at 36 5.95, but if you add all these options that you know, make it more elegant. It goes up to 55,245 for this, making it hard to find as a super cheap sports model. Those exist but they are hard to find on Lots because once they get to Lots they sell out pretty quickly but I would choose the Jeep over the 4Runner and a lot of those reasons is its four wheel drive capability, the engine that you get and the new 2024 interior is actually very nice so this one here is actually running and the screen is on which makes it easier.

I want to show it to you and as you can see here, the new screen is much larger, they put the vents underneath and that makes it look a little more modern and sleeker inside, but the inside is definitely nicer to install. and it looks more modern than the outgoing 4Runner. Now, a quick sidebar about these Jeeps I want you to know and think about is that while these new ones, especially the Rubicons, are like those from the '60s, you can save some money by doing what I did. I bought this 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon pretty much fully loaded with every option you can imagine and I actually ended up only paying $45,000 for it and the Deep only had 13,000k on it, so like this 2024 Rubicon which is $68,400, you could buy a lightly used 2019 like I got here for only 45 if you look in the right places.

Now mine only had 13,000 miles on it, so if you got one with much higher miles you could probably save even more money. Let's get in my Jeep and look at the third vehicle. Now I said this next SUV on my list was controversial and that's because when they first came out you could barely get one and when you tried to get one themost of them were marked 10 15 even 20 grand over MSRP but not anymore and that vehicle is the Ford Bronco and as you can see behind me they now have a whole row of new Ford Broncos that you can practically choose any trim level or color you want now, when before you couldn't get it and nothing comes close, made by Toyota and as you can see here, there are quite a few It's a good choice when it comes to options, plus they have a Raptor version and let's see where the lower trim level starts and then we'll go up to the Raptors at the end so this big Benin trim level would be one of the more basic options and it's good to see these two cheaper options because this green one is a new 2024 and this gray one here is a 2022 that is lightly used.but let's look at this 2024 model first.

This is a 2024 with the 2.3 liter ecoboost engine and the 10 speed transmission in the big compartment trim level, which is one of the lowest trim levels you can get. The MSRP on this one is $46,500, but I actually get a discount as does Toyota, but it's not that much, so you can get a dealer discount of $1,055, bringing that 45 to 44,495, which is not a huge discount compared to Toyota, but you have to understand that Toyota has that 4Runner. that's expense and they have to get rid of them because the new Ford Runner is coming out sometime this year, but here you have this used and the options are pretty close to the same, so you could save some money by buying a 22 for $389.99 .

There is approximately a $6,000 difference between this green model and the solar 22 model and they are practically the same. Now let's take a look at one of these higher trim levels, which is the one that most people are going to do any type of off-roading or camping or going trail riding or something like that and that would be Badlands right here and they have some among the that you can choose from, there is a soft top version and then these two here are hard tops and there are more soft tops over here, but Go ahead and look at this gray hardtop real quick and I'll try to do my best to show you this sticker on the window but the tent is dark and the sun is in the right place where my reflection just blocks everything but it's a 2024 Badlands four door all wheel drive this one actually has the 2.7L Ecoboost V6 and again they all have the 10-speed transmission, this is a pretty optional model that will cost you $68,400 for this, but since they have so many now you get $1,450 off which brings it to $67,380, but it's not even the most expensive Ford Bronco they have here and if you're looking for a new Bronco and you're okay with paying the ridiculously high prices that these Broncos command, this would be I think the trim level to get, especially if you're going to keep it long term, because you have tires 35 and it's a lot taller than one of these lower trim levels here, so it's a lot more capable if we're doing things other than just driving a Costco, but that's not the most expensive Bronco you can buy, that would be the Bronco Raptor and these were also hard to find for a while, but they have one, two, three that I can see right here. and there's one thing that's interesting about these when they first came out: you could only get them with black fenders, but I think Ford really listened to their customers this time because this trim level here, as you can see, the paint matches the actual body color. of this Bronco Raptor which I think makes it look even better and honestly more premium, so I'm curious to see the price difference between the one with black fenders and this one here with painted fenders, let's take a look, this is actually a 2023 . model and of course it has the 3 liter Ecoboost V6 that all the other Raptors like the F-150 also have, but this will set you back $95,500 and it has pretty much every option you can imagine except the painted fenders like that other one. . there and I'm pretty sure it's probably going to be a 24 model but the cool thing about this raptor is there's no more markup on this one either, it's not a huge discount but you can get $3,710 off by taking it to 9199 and just being able to see Discounted Broncos and especially discounted Bronco Raptors, it really shows you that there has been a change in the market and purchasing has slowed down and you know they are very expensive, but if you have a lot of money to get them, you can get them too.

If you can negotiate to get a good interest rate obviously, but let's look at the price difference on this 2024 model with the painted fenders, everything else is pretty much the same, the biggest difference is these painted fenders here and it looks like they left this . section here that you can replace and the MSRP of this 2024 is higher than the other one, it has a markup of $96,400, it's not 15 or 20 thousand dollars like the crazy thing it was before, it's actually a nice slight margin of $29.95, so about three thousand dollars more than the MSRP and look. anything over MSRP sucks but when they used to be 10 15 20 for three Grand it's not a big deal because I bet if you bought this you could probably trade it from there but the raptor r looks good with the 37.

I think it's the best SUV you can buy right now, and of course you've probably never heard of it, so we've looked at it. the Toyota 4Runner the Jeep Wrangler these four Broncos and the next one I think they might surprise you by my top pick and this is the inos Grenadier and it's one of the coolest SUVs to come out probably in the last decade now you probably haven't heard a lot about this because it is a small company and they are just moving to the United States.

They've been here for a few months, but they're selling a lot and instead of me giving you a tour of this. Because I only know little things about this.
